I think I am getting a cold. It could be allergies, but its been too dang cold here for too much to grow. My brother sends me a weather story yesterday saying how the weather is going to stay unusually cold through May (yes, MAY!!) due to some weird weather pattern. I was having a bad enough day as it was, I wish he hadn't said that. I am sure it isn't going to stay in the 30-40's, but below normal temps.... that is just so wrong. It needs to get HOT!!!!

Bunny is doing good, albeit way more expensive that we were told. We were quoted a spay was $184. We have always done "rescues" and got Low-Cost Spay/Neuter which includes the whole procedure, except for pain mgt. There was nothong available for bunnies in North jersey and I love and trust my vet, so we figured made sense to stay here.
It cost $317!!!! the actual surgery was $184, the anesthsia/pain/etc was all extra.

But Bunny was taken good care of while there and that is what matters.
 
Oh Chris- how awful- about bunny and the cold!

Another day of work- praying it does not have me work on my patience- only my patients!!
 
Sorry I had to leave abruptly, but I have 5 min's while my skin stuff soaks in before I have to wash it off:D

So my day was crud yesterday and its not looking off to a great start so far. Hope no one minds but I need a quick venting here.

Caitlyn lost her phone yewsterday too. She had it on her with her on the way home from school, but can't find it in the house, or on the road. My house has a weird way of "disappearing" things. Things that have no way to be lost. And sometimes they come back unexpectedly. For real. So i am still hoping that it will turn up. The other possibility is that we saw her ex-boyfriend and his friend walking soon after they got home from school. This is the guy that has been spreading rumors about her. If they saw the phone and realized it was hers, I wouldn't put it past him to grab it.

Then I just saw a mom from my town posted on FB that we are supposed to get snow Thurs into Fri. I looked at the weather.com, and they are saying a possible 5-10 inches. This is not good. I am at my mental limits of cold weather.

Then to top it all off, Gary has been really cranky for the last few weeks and is just making everyone here in edge. Scott hasn't been feeling good and thinks he wants to go back on home instruction for a while and Cait has been saying that she has some more Lyme symptoms coming back.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can't take any more! (and oh, you know there is more than what i wrote but I don't want to bore you all!)

I gotta get in the shower, will be back for personals.

Chris - You need some Clara hugs. I am so sorry your weather is acting ridiculous. You have an open invitation to come see me anytime. It isn't always warm and nice but it is better than there. Rainy today. I am very impressed with Scott these days. Last year he was in bratty stage full force and fought you tooth and nail about home instruction and now it is his idea? Wow!! Talk about a 180. I am sure that through all of the struggles you are a momma full of pride with him. I know things are tough for you right now but this too shall pass. I always tell people when they are going through a hard time to just know life will be completely different in a year and to think about where they were a year ago. I know a year ago Scott was fighting you on everything and you didn't have Gary's disability. So there are two positives for you to try and wrap your mind around so that you don't fall into the depths of despair that you have every right to embrace. Feel free to PM me anytime you want to vent but feel like it is overwhelming in the daily-o's. Remember I love ya along with so many here. More hugs for you!!

You always remind me how far I have come. Sometimes it feels like things are no different, but yes, they really are. Hope things are great for you!!

Hi trudy- more rain? When it finally does stop raining your yard is going to be so green and pretty! Wow- 45 mins on the TM, WTG!!!! yeah, Cait was very cute, she couldn't wait to get Bunny. She needed a second pain shot at 6 pm, and we couldn't get her until 6:30. Cait normally has gymnastics at 6;30 but she didn't want to leave her. I was teasing the vet tech that having a bunny is good birth control, they need so much work and attention. My DD is not going to want to take any chances, when she is older (I think/hope/pray!).

Meg- i know that you have a lot of allergies, but if this won't bother you more, get a clarifying shampoo (my hair girl said Daily Defense) and put in one tsp of Tee Tree Essential oil. Shake it well and use that. It works fantastically for Caitlyn and it isn't as harsh as a lot of the dandruff chemicals.

well he brought the boat home...and i for one AM NOT impressed with it....he said it was 18ft well yeah it is but there is NO SITTING ROOM.....we will barely be able to fit our family in it....so there goes any plans of taking friends out on it...which is disappointing....thats the ONE thing i was looking forward to doing....so yeah def not happy with this boat.....grrrrr ohh well...
 
Morning everyone... guess what??? It's :rain: again here today. But they are promising some sunshine this weekend, we will see. My coffee is tasting so good this morning can I pour a cup for anyone?? I eneded up working an extra hour longer than I was supposed to yesterday. One of the girls called in sick again. She calls in sick an awful lot, she is a single mom and has a boy with autisum, I don't think things are going so well for her, so I don't mind covering for her once in a while. Anyway I work again today for just 4 hrs so I hope I can get some scrapping done this afternoon. Perhaps I will hit the treadmill again today, I will see how my feet feel LOL.

Chris - Ouch on the cost of the bunny!! That must have been a shock! Oh I hope your daughter's cell phone shows up and that it wasn't taken by her ex boyfriend! Perhaps you have a ghost living with you that likes to play pranks on you. LOL. I am sorry that you are feeling so down these days, but listen to that wonderfully smart Clara and remember how very far you have all come! There is nothing you can do about the weather unfortunately, so try to count your blessing my dear and be thankful for all that you have! By the way I love your new AVI!!!! Thinking of you and sending healing thoughts your way my friend!! :hug:

Kristy - You are way to nice to your hubby!! I would make him take that boat right back from where he got it!!! If it was purchased with the knowledge that it was for family to enjoy and there isn't enough room in it for all of you, then perhaps he should wait to buy one until he finds one that is suitable for all of you! Men!!! Always wanting instant gratification, he will regret buying it if it doesn't make everyone happy!! Sorry I will step off of my pedestal now and shut up!!

no if anything i'll make it sell it for like 3k more than we bought it for....cause yeah the guy sold it to us CHEAP with everything he gave us he could have easily gotten 12k out of it we bought it for 8k
 
RUnning in quickly....yesterday was a much calmer day.....it was just me an Savannah all day...and my phone barely rang at all!! WOOOOHHOOOOOO!!!! I did go grocery shopping....

BUT

I have three kids again today!!! Savannah and Connor and Jaid-a-bug is with me today. However it's not as wild as Monday.

morning everyone! I'm here quilting off and on and shopping this week, too. Love payday! :) I'm also excited to say that we've finally paid off our excursion which means that in a couple of paydays, Mr Gorgeous can buy his car!! (whatever that may be!!) That's my excitement for the day.

Yesterday the kids and I went to the Fine Arts museum here in town. It is sooo awesome. All four kids had a good time. That in itself is amazing! LOL!!

Mr Gorgeous has been home the last three days because of a bad cold/allergies/weight loss herxing! LOL!! I'm really hoping it's not a cold, cause I'm kinda feeling a lot of snot in my sinuses today and I don't really want to be sick this week!!

Okay, off to feel better and be happy!

Everyone -- seriously, as soon as we have our house, everyone is welcome to appear on my doorstep and stay for awhile!!! The development we definitely are buying in is amazing and right outside of Yosemite, doesn't get much more picturesque than that! We're waiting until at least the next credit quarter to buy, since two of our credit cards will be paid off after this quarter.

Chris -- ohhhh my goodness!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!! I would of raised hell because they didn't quote the cost of everything else, and made it sound like that was included. Wow. I really can't believe that!!! Riley's spay was only $115, and she was in heat! And that was at an award winning, syndicated columnist, vet!
How are things going with the ex harassing Cait??

Kristy -- I hope the boat thing is resolved, I can't imagine Jeff making that kind of purchase without having me go with him! Are you sure it even runs and/or was winterized properly? That low price has me a bit worried. Even in a warmer climate like mine, if a boat isn't put away right, it definitely wont start up come warmer weather.

Trudy -- I'll take a cup of that coffee!!!! I haven't had any coffee in awhile, just haven't been feeling like it lately.

Nana Linda -- I hope things are settled down for you for good soon, I hate to see you going through all that stuff!!!! Praying for you babe!!!

Sally -- can you get your hubby to tell mine to call in sick??? He had a fever last night and STILL went to work. He's been complaining of an upset tummy & headache the last few days....
 
Well, I'm soooo hating PMSing while trying to diet. I'm going to be a broken record all week long on that. Gahh, PMS always makes me starving!!!

I decided to switch working out to in the evenings, it's way too hard in the morning because of constant interruptions and just simply not being awake.

BIL's wedding is causing major upset with all of us -- it's on a Friday night, in LA, near the beach. So it's going to be about $350 just for a hotel room for us to share with the in-laws for two nights, and Jeff's thinking we might have to change it to three nights. He's going to be ending up using 5 days of PTO, which is disappointing because most of the time we're going to be doing nothing. Soooo that means we wont be able to go up to Oregon/Washington, simply because of the cost of this wedding, plus the wedding is during the only time we were going to be able to go up to see my family. It's upsetting that it was sprung on us, but we're still happy for them. Just trying to remind myself to be happy for them, even though we're being treated like crap.

Today I'm trying to finish designing two kits... one for this week's release, one for next week. I'm ripping my hair out over it because I'm normally a month ahead, but this month has been insane... especially with the BIL inviting himself over to stay every other week.
