Happy Hump Day! But I don't want the summer weeks to go too fast, so can we roll back the day a bit to Tuesday. Sue and I would love to have a second day to birthday party-ing

I really do believe that good thoughts and energy can be felt around the world and I sure felt them from all of you yesterday. Remember how I said on Monday that I was feeling very bummed and lonely. Not at all yesterday! I had a "normal-Chris" day. Worked, went to the lake, had dinner at home, watched TV with the fam, but it was a *good* day. I felt at peace. It was the best birthday gift I could have ever gotten. A much needed one too.
Trudy made a gorgeous scrap page of what she did for me- I don't have the link but make sure that you leave her love!

Its nice to know that my kooky, crazy, sometimes silly, sometimes depressing ramblings are being read and that I am with you when you start your Oscraps-Day. If I could reach into my computer and hug you all I would.

I had a regular client cancel onme for today so I am off to MIL's. Its such nice weather today that I sort of wish I could have taken the day off, but with all of additional medical bills that will be rolling in on top of our regular ones (kids Lyme dr is Friday UGH!!!!) , I couldn't afford to lose a day $. But, she said that she has lots of weeding so I'll be outside, in the gardens. Its a win-win!

WWW
I want all of the good energy and thoughts and love I felt yesterday to stay with me forever.
I also want to share and send all of them to all of you!
I wish for health and peace for all.

Good morning Chris. Glad that your birthday was a good one.

I spent some time this morning outside. The temps are going to be at 100 by noon but it is beautiful this morning. I took time to drink my coffee and listen to the birds and reflect.

Need to do another day of gratitude: SO THANKFUL for air conditioning!

Hi laurie! I know you are probably off walking (yay!) and getting ready for work, but I want to say Good morning!

Donna- Wow, HOT!!! Hope you have good a/c. How does your mother do in the heat, is she ok?

Linda S- thanks for the good thoughts. Gary's biopsy is July 23, IIRC. Which is good, right? If the dr thought it was more critical, he would have gotten him in very quickly, right? Sending calming thoughts to you- sounds like you need them~~~~

Phyllis- It was so cold at the lake yesterday- I think we were around 70-72* and breezy. I was bundled up. But if I were home or in the garden it would have been the perfect temp.
I looove Fr Onion soup, hope you saved a bowl for me :D

Trudy- your mojo was in full speed on that gorgeous page your scrapped for me!!!! Can you send some of your leftover mojo my way? Hope that you enjoyed your day off and have a short day today.

Off for more :tea:, does anyone else need a refill?

xoxo

Morning all!

Another hot day here! Note to self-put shoes on when going out to get mail down the driveway and across the road!

Chris- so glad you had a nice birthday. You deserve to enjoy the day! I saw trudy's lovely page! How sweet was that and don't you love how the O creates friendships!

Chris, my mom stays put and goes no where in this heat. Yes, very thankful for AC!

Linda- Enjoy your day and stay cool. You said you were coming down this direction. Where are you headed to?

Enjoy your Wed. all!

Good Morning girls... A sunny morning and I think that finally the wind will stop blowing so hard today! My goodness it sure blew last night! All kinds of debris to pick up on the lawn now. It's always something right? Had a great day off yesterday and spent a lot of time right here in front of the computer. My MG would have given me heck had he been here :becky: I enjoyed every minute! And actually found my mojo again. Using a template from Kitty Designs got me out of my rut!

Chris - I am so happy that you enjoyed your birthday!! and your birthday page that I made for you! Thank you for having your birthday! It really helped me to be creative again!! See your faery dust works!! Say hi to your MIL from us, and enjoy the day in the garden!

LindaS - So nice to hear that you actually took some time to yourself this morning and enjoyed the beautiful weather and mother nature!

Donna - Yes for goodness sake wear shoes when the pavement is scorching hot!! LOL

Kristy - Wow must have been some wind that you had!! Sounds like you will be busy fixing up the damage!! Hope the winds have calmed down for you now!

Laurie - Hope you enjoyed your walk this morning!

Well running late and have to get ready for work, short day today Yippee!!

Donna----OUCH!!!
Trudy, YAY! for templates when Mojo Goes Missing!
Linda, i'm trying to decide whether to crank up my little window AC for today. upper 80s. that's usually when i begin to wilt.
Kristy, bummer about your shed. glad that nothing happened to your HOUSE, though!

off to the Ear, Nose and Throat doc again this afternoon to try to ascertain why i've had a 5-Tylenol-a-Day Headache since last Thursday, when i blew my nose for the 1st time in a week, since my last nosebleed. this is SO annoying!!:twitch:

happy Wednesday!

sigh. my heart aches just a little today. It is Chloe's last day of kindergarten. She is growing up so fast, my last baby.
I am going through old negatives, getting a bunch ready to send off to ScanCafe for digitalizing!! Soon I will be able to scrap my older kids baby pics and all their childhood memories-wheeeee!

Heather - I don't know where you live. But around here you can go to Target, Costco, Walmart, etc. It doesn't take too long.

Hi girls....

Recooperating from a Looooooooooooooooong day yesterday....we made the 2.5 hour drive to the North Carolina Zoo....spent 6 hours at the zoo and then the drive back....took longer to get back as we stopped for dinner....the kids were AWESOME!!! I was actually surprised at how well they did. BUT OMG!! they have more than made up for their awesomeness yesterday, today!!! UUGGH!!

Anyway....they all had a good time...Jesse and Jaiden and Savannah had not been there and was a real treat for them...Jesse especially..he was very taken with all the animals. As boys go, the gorillas were his favorite.

That's it for me....the rest...same old stuff...............bleh!!

okay, I really need hugs, and prayers and good thoughts. The dog was not doing well when I got home, couldn't get a vet to come and no way I could get him in the car, he is gone now and I hated to see him struggle. MMG is on the road and I am waiting for my son's friend to come make sure he is gone and help me get him taken care of till MMG can get home to bury him. So sad.

Linda - You should have told me!! It's about an hour and a half from here. Is it the one in Ashland or something like that? We went about a year and a half ago when my mom was visiting. We skipped school and everything to go. :) Its a nice zoo.

always chatty at the O!!
Laurie - I've never had a dog die at home. We've always put them to sleep where it is nice, quick and easy. I can't imagine having to watch my pet suffer. You poor thing. Hugs!!
