Woohoo! Back to sunshine. Maybe, hopefully, we will have a bit less humidity than yesterday. Even in my ponytail, my hair was a wreck! You should have seen it.:scared: <~ accurate representation
I was trying really hard to not have a meltdown yesterday. I was getting myself overwhelmed. There is just so much that needs to get done even as I am slowly chipping away at it all. Food shopping went fine even if I forgot some things. I made the banana bread wrappers for the dads- they just need to get printed. PT was fine too. I have to say that it is astounding to me that simply moving my foot/ankle could be so exhausting for it. I really was feeling an ache by the end of the 45 minutes. I think (with my non-medical degree heh!) that my tendon has been messed up for a long time. It has given me issues for years and years, this is the one that when my Lyme would flare, it would get hard and inflamed. It the tendon that the cyst formed on. And the physical therapist said that he could feel it "flapping around" (his words- yuck) while I was moving it. Maybe the PT will help it more than anything else.
Gotta get it ready to walk on the sand by September.
My parents are coming up today to take me to lunch. Caitlyn is coming with us and my brother too. I think it will be good for my dad. Another one of his long-time fire-fighting buddies passed away. This was the second in a couple of months and I think my dad is pretty much the last of his cohort. My brother said that he isn't taking it too well. Any advice on how I can help him?
It will be very good for me to stay away from the news. It is heartbreaking to see again and again.
Have a fabulous day!!!
