Clara, hope that you are holding up through the heat wave! We in Iowa should be having that heat...and guess what...we're having cool enough nights to sleep without air conditioning! Hope your heat wave breaks!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone real quick! I had a busy day today updating the a website I manage and then made sure I took the time to workout! I didn't even nap today!

Thursday, Friday and Saturday I will be gone mostly as I am helping the dental office I work for move into our new office.

I will try to pop in and say hi each night tho'! I am on a mission.......have to reach my posting goal. I am at 420 and my goal was 500. I have to get 40 posts each on Thurs. and Fri.! I think I am going to make it!!!

good morning! Matthew is still pretty lethargic this morning... I'm mixing sprite with pedialyte, and have gotten him to drink about 2 oz of pedialyte mixed with about 3 oz of sprite so far and he's started on a new cup with 3oz of sprite/3oz pedialyte... but he's not out of the woods yet... he has to come back from the dehydration so pediatrician said to call early afternoon and let them know how he's doing... plus we're still waiting for the results for the specimens I took to the lab last night... he was up 2x with potty issues so that's still going too... he slept alot yesterday which showed how wilted his little body is... I hope this is the beginning of the turn-around for him!

Oh no! Poor Matthew! It is so hard to watch your babies feel bad. I hope he feels better soon!

I am thinking I am not going to hit my posting goal this month. I am still almost 200 posts away.
So if no one minds, I think I am going to do personals one post at a time

Ha Ha! I am doing individual personals today too! I am soooo close to my goal!

Ugh....yes the "big" baby was the bigger baby of the kids. LOL

But, it was sort of my fault I guess.....when we got home I didn't give him anything for pain (I forgot) so when he woke up after a 2 hour nap....he was in so much pain. I felt terrible....so then I drugged him up good and sent his bootay back to bed.....

Good morning everyone!! Hope you all have a great Wednesday! Mine is just about finished, its 10.06pm downunder and just back from our second night get together with work so feeling tired again!! Its quite cool this evening, just had a lovely hot shower, got my pj's on and my bed socks!! LOL! and I need to get a couple of LO's done before I turn in so had best get to it!!! It's been raining here since a little past noon! Boo! I just mowed yesterday and was hoping it would stay dry so that I don't have to "bale" the lawn when we get back from Sturgis next week.

Ahhh....drool....I wish we were going to Sturgis! Maybe next year. It would wreck the diet I have started anyway I guess.......

NeeNee - I've never been to sturgis before - during the rally that is. I've lived in South Dakota for 20 years so it's about time! I'm sure we will have a great time, surely full of "new experiences" I'm willing to bet! ha ha

Well, ladies. Thanks for all the well wishes for the day. It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. The bright side is that my computer still works and I have a time machine back up from right before it crashed. And, my class that I teach is done. d-u-n dun. whew.

Tomorrow, (today for those of you catching up on Thurs.), I'm taking Ben to the dentist and to see his new daycare. He's very excited, so that's good. Then, I'm bound and determined to scrap darn it. I haven't finished the July challenges and I want to!!! I'm going to ignore the big pile of papers (well, folder of files really) that I have to grade and just scrap for a little bit.

Chris - Hugs dearie. Thanks for all the love and support. I hope you are feeling better today. Less scattered... =)

Dawn - I hope you don't mind that I chuckled with the staellite thing. I wouldn't have even lasted as long as you did I don't think. Davy is hysterical. What fun. And wow...I didn't know strep could go to your kidneys. Crazy. I had Scarlet Fever when I was young; I wonder if strep is what caused it. BTW, have you gotten anything from Sally yet on FB? I'm perplexed by this situation. I might have to surface for a little bit so you can find me. =)

Linda W - How was the shower? Was it today? I've lost all track of time. Hope it was fun.

Clara - I heard that Seattle was headed for 107 today. That totally sucks. And like Linda said, the midwest has been unseasonably cool. It's awfully crazy. That jet stream.....

NeeNee - *Hi*. I love the idea of drugging him up good and sending him to bed. Can I try that? =)

And Sandra - Oh my dearie. What a rough go of it you've had. I'm glad to hear he's drinking and eating now. I bet by morning he'll be feeling much better. =)

O.k. I'm sort of done with restoring some of the most important files. And I had a midnight snack. (I know....horrible eating habit....very not good for the weight loss...but I was really hungry and dinner wasn't that great.) So...I think I'm headed for bed shortly.

It's hot!! record breaking highs today and probably tomorrow. i think it got to 104 or something here. dh went and got our camper to use the ac but i can't sleep in there. all of you guys from iowa or wherever in that region can have your crazy weather back. i like my rain. i can hardly function. Ugh!!! I don't know how the soldiers manage this. It gets into the 130s+. I don't think it could feel any hotter than this though. Plus it is humid. we don't get dry heat. Ugh!! whah whah whah!!!

DawnCW - how are you surviving this heat???

Clara - its never so hot(104) here in India so i can't imagine what you do to protect yourself from so much heat? We take the highest(50) temp here as like hell and we hate this when the hottest days comes. I personally like winter season when you just can have a coffee cup in your hand and TV remote in other hand and just relaxing in bed, covering youself with quilt . Aah m waiting for winter season here !
