Happy Wednesday!
I am going to post this quick here, b/c if I don't I'll completely forget that i want to blog about it.
Last night, i was driving home after dropping Cait off at gymnastics. I live in the boonies of North Jersey and the sky was so clear and you could see so many stars. Then "Imagine" came on the radio.....it was such a peaceful moment, looking at the stars, a beautiful song. I got out of my car and just looked up. I didn't feel cold and cranky - I felt a bit of joy and awe at the Universe. yay!!!
Now- let me see if I can channel that Joy at Shoprite today
Linda S- Isn't that great (the quote)? I thought it summed up what Merkee had said so perfectly about joy. Hope that you had a great and relaxing day!
Trudy- My house has been too quiet too and I only had the 2 kids back to school. My mom says the same thing whenever we leave from her lake house. She and my dad are used to being there alone, but when we come up, kids, dogs, guitars- and then we go, they really hate it.
You are going to have sooo much fun at Disney!! Wish i could go with you!!
Nana- oh so happy to hear mom is improving. Were you able to see her at all yesterday?
Gah!!!!!!! How could they lose Jesse??? I would have been freaking out!!!!! I had a kid hide on me when I first started teaching- he decided that the wanted to stay out on the playground and he hid when I did my "sweep." I can't tell you how panicked *I* was and he wasn't my kid. And i knew he had to be soemwhere.... oh yikes... glad it all turned out ok for your little guy.

Sally- I shouldn't laugh, but I have too. Did Cora ever find the curriculum?
Clara- oh my fingers are crossed for good renters for you. There is one house, across the street from me that has renters come and go, and each set seems worse than the next. Already, less than 24 hrs of moving in, police and EMTs were there, and then a fight out in the middle of the street with the guy and the mom.
That Addie- she is so much like you, isn't she??
Hope that you feel better too- this time of year so hard to get energy going. Have you tried b12? Oh yeah, didn't derek used to IV you? Or was that just fluids?
I thought of what you said last night too- it didn't seem quite as dark when I took Cait to gymn. as it did before the holidays- a minute or so every day of more light!
Ohh meg- That Riley- she is so cute! How can you resist puppy growls LOL
Good luck with the loan payments. I have to tell people, Campbell- like the soup.....I'm tell you- it was funny seeing people 's faces w/ my maiden name Iantosca..... but I seem to have just as much trouble w/ Campbell.
Kayleigh- you'd better stick around and scrap pics of that sweet baby girl! Hope she comes easily for you.
