Happy Hump Day!
I thought for sure (well, not thought-- just hoped) that we would have a delayed opening. As much as it screws with my head to get the kids to the ir buses on time, I really really really could have used an extra hour of sleep.

I fought with my computer for hours it seemed for a project for work and I just couldn't get a grasp on what I was doing wrong.
I hate that! I feel so behind and can never quite catch up.
Do any of you feel like that? So frustrating, isn't it?

Today I am off to clean for my MIL, then Gary and I have Lyme appts in the middle of it. Cait has literary club today and it is my week to car pool. Loooong day here Yay Coffeeeeeeee :)

And on to my O-Fam.....

Sandra-- Sally and I are going to have to keep saying, don't forget your Oxygen. Really. I wish I could take even just a little of the worry away from you...... and try to rest, even for 10 minutes whenever you can. (((hugs)))

ME- ug- the weather is killing me, every day is like this it seems, grey cold, snowy. I need spring!

Merkee- yay! Good to see ya!!!!

Clara- I saw on your blog Ethan's room, too cute!!! You are doing aweomse with it.
That is a hard decision to make- to be a foster parent really... for this boy for a year. Good luck with your decision.

LindaP- you have me sooo jealous- I love gardening (not very good at it, but it is so relaxing to me.) The plant catalogs are going to be coming in the mail soon, and I have no choice but to throw them all out :(
But I am so lucky that one of my jobs for my MIL in the Spring/Summer it to help her with her gardens, and what ever has naturalized-- if I split them, I get to keep some. I'll come home with buckets of good stuff.

Sara- good to see ya back. And oh that sounds like a horrid stomach bug- but... glad it was over quickly! Have fun w/ adsr!

LindaP!!!! OMG- that kit is great!!!! I love that brown swirled paper... you are doing so good!!!!

OMG Wednesday? Well, Dexter - the dog, has me up plenty early this morning! The warm up in our weather starts today, Yay! I'm tired of below zero temps and am really ready for spring.
The design challenge has been really fun, and hugely time consuming! But I am learning a lot! Thanks for all the favorable comments, you make me feel good! Here's the thread that all the FREE mini kits will be in. I believe you'll have to be a registered member of their forums to access. There are 44 people in the challenge, so LOTS of freebies!
Our Principal announced yesterday in our faculty meeting that in appreciation for all that we have been doing to cut down on discipline referrals and etc that we get to have a "jeans week". We normally get to wear jeans only on Fridays. Jeans week starts today! WOO HOO, that saves me so much time in the morning, not having to figure out what to wear. Great timing too, greenhouse needs cleaning and organizing. A dirty job for dress clothes!
Have a great Wednesday everyone!
Chris - I wish I could send you stuff from our greenhouse!

good morning, everyone! I managed to get home early yesterday from the hospital.... Will got out of school an hour early yesterday because we got snow... and I've got 5 kids today as school is out because of snow - I'm sick of winter... I wanna wear shorts and flip flops!

I just talked to the hospital and they've reduced Daddy's O2 level down to 40%... one step closer to removing the vent I'm hoping... they had to increase his sedation a little yesterday evening as he seemed agitated... maybe we're finally catching a break and he's going to keep improving...

well I better run... I've got 5 kids since it snowed and school is closed for today... hope you all have a great day!

Hi ladies, doing a quick drive by (Chris, no speeding ticket, please). Need to run a few errands today on my lunch hour - pick up a bday gift for my sister. Hope you are all doing well. Sandra, sending lots of positive thoughts your way. Love to you all.

I am sick of winter too -- bring on the flip flops, but then I'd need a pedicure. I could deal with that. ;)

always chatty at the O!!
Hump Day!! Yay!! I am kinda tired today, but I shouldn't be. I got plenty of sleep. I got a coffee though and so I should be good soon. Last night we went to Family Math Night at the school. I love taking Ethan to stuff like that but I hate being there. It is hot, loud and lots of people. But I did enjoy watching him and the neighbor girls running all over the place. So, question for you guys...my son is a little social butterfly but when me or his dad are with him he doesn't care about his friends. Not that I want that to change it just seems strange to me. Are anyone else's kids like that?

So, we took E into his ortho appt for his arm and it seems to be healing good, which makes me happy. They are planning on having him out of a cast in two weeks. I think it is awesome that they only have kids in a cast for 4 weeks instead of the 6 because their bone heal so fast. He was a bit bummed he didn't get a new cast though. They decided to leave him in the one he had. Works for me. I'm not sure I like the guy who's taking care of him though. He didn't seem to know what he was talking about. He pointed to a spot different than where his fracture was and some things like that. I have realized lately (I realize this every so often) how little people know about things medical. I have had so many people tell me "Isn't a fracture worse than a break" and then I have to explain that they are the same thing just different termonology, blah blah blah!! And just a few thongs like that. I take for granted what I know about our bodies and how they work, although when I listen to my husband I feel like and idiot. He is a medical knowledge sponge. It is too bad he never decided to become a doctor because once he knows it he knows it. If the schooling wasn't decades long I'd say he should be a radiologist. That's not a bad idea. Maybe I should talk to him about that. Hmmm... The Army could maybe pay for it. Hmmm...

Anyway, I am with the rest of you. Bring out the sun!! I like it around 72-78. That is my happy zone for sunshine. Anything warmer and I get crabby. Cooler I'm good with as long as it isn't raining when it is supposed to be sunny. I live in the wrong state for that though.

Chris - I totally understand the feeling like you are always behind. I've been feeling like that in my house since it started to look like a bomb went off in it. But we are starting to get agrasp on it thanks to my sister and a friend of mine. Oh, you are right...it would be like fostering a child if we had Cristian for the year. I really want to be able to do that for her but like I said I want to see how 1 month goes first. I can't even imagine the stresses she has not just being a single parent but having the father and his wife make her life so difficult. When she was in Iraq before they did all sorts of horrible things and she ended up having her son raised by the dad's new wife who she had never even met before even though that is not what was in here family care plan but the war was still new and so they weren't letting anyone come home because everyone was trying to come home. I think the month will go well though. E and Cristian are always really excited around each other and get crazy so I am hoping that by being together so much it will calm them down a bit. We'll see. It starts this Saturday afternoon.

Linda - that is so cool that you are trying to design. I have never had any desire to design. I don't really even use design type elements in my layouts like brushes and things like that. So props to you for that. It looks great.

Sandra - Wow!! You just have so much going on. I can't imagine having to balance life and the stresses you have on your plate. YOu are doing pretty good balancing it all from the sounds of it. Just try and get a few minutes for yourself and if you need to take a few minutes to break down for a bit, do it.

Hi ME!! I need new flip flops. Well, really I don't but I want some. I'm not much of a shoe person but I do have a slight addiction to Teva flip flops. I think I have 4 pairs of them. They are just so squishy and comfy!!

To everyone else...Have a great day and I'm in a huggy mood so hugs for everyone. Plus my coconut mocha is super yummy so everyone gets one of those too. Loves!!

So much going on here! Just a very quick drive-by. I'm packing...totally going carry-on and we never do that! So it's pushing my limits...but will be so much easier in the end! We need to be out of the house by 4:30 so I probably won't be in touch until Sunday evening! Take good care of the O! You know that you'll be the first thing I check when we get home (after calling my mom of course)!
