The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
why isn't it Friday yet? Why can't it be Friday of last week? If it were Friday of this week, then I'd be in really big trouble b/c that would make it C-mas Eve and I am not ready for that. but I would really like it to be a weekend... so last Friday it is.

Did that make sense? It always makes sense in my head, but then when it comes out, everyone, including me, is like "Huh????"

I had a nice time w/ my brother yesterday at lunch. I feel so badly for him. He and his wife are just having so many crap issues. They have only been married 3 years so some of it is just that early-marriage stuff. Then add in all of the stresses they have had over the last year.... and there is nothing I can do. I listen, play devil's advocate when possible..... and hope for the best.

I also have a quick prayer request. My college roomie- her baby is having spinal surgery today. She was born w/ a "tethered spinal cord." I am not really even sure what that entails, but she is having surgery today and I know she would be pleased to know that she had lots of good thoughts for her and the baby. halli is 7 months old now?

Hope everyone has a great day. I am working at MIL's then making reindeer food with my neighbor and her kids. Cait requested that we do it again, which I think is fun!

xoxoxo

Looks like I don't have too many personals from yesterday. everyone must be very busy.
Or sick. Mostly likely both sick and busy ;)

Lauire- feel better! We can be Rudolph's together with our red noses. I actually caved and bought the tissues with aloe for Cait and I. She is getting so many bloody noses with the weather being so cold, her nose is so irritated too.

Trudy- glad you liked the potato soup recipe! I am trying to think if there is an all natural or homeopathic muscle relaxer you could try. Hylands makes a formula called Calms Forte. Its good for anxiety, homeopathic, so very safe to use. Do warn compresses help relax the muscle at all? Maybe a gentle massage of the tight area? I wish I could help more!

Sally- happy Anniversary!!!!! Although... I am not really clear if you love YMG all that much....
Very proud of you w/ garlic. I have been taking so many myself.

Meg- if I lived closer i would love to be your PA!

Clara- I saw the pics on FB- the kids looked like they had so much fun. yay for Derek- can he come clean my house too?
Good luck today- my fingers and toes are all crossed for you with the dr for Ethan.
How did your painting come out?

*waving hi to everyone*

morning all - I can breathe- but my chest/throat are questionable- no fever- just a cold/sinus thing- to work or not- that is the question- we will see what a hot shower brings! But for sure after 6pm today I am off for 4 days straight- too bad even with minimal Christmas plans they will be so busy!!

Good Morning Lovely "O"'s sounds like everyone is feeling sickly still. I am off to work again this morning and then hopefully will have tomorrow off so I can catch up and get ready for the big day.

Chris - you are so sweet to try to help with my muscle problems and yes warm compresses help, its an involuntary thing that I do with my jaw muscles and I don't even know that I do it while I am sleeping, but wake up knowing that I have been clenching and my poor face muscles are just so fatiqued and sore. The doctor says these splints will help to train my brain not to clench so much. Guess I must have some kind of deep seeded stress in my life, I think my life is pretty stress free, but he thinks there must be something bothering me????

Laurie - Oh I hope that you are not getting very sick!! You will have to find some time to take for relaxation and sleep while you are on days off. ( I know...like that's gonna happen right)?

Meg - hope today is better for you and you get some more

Clara - Hey girlfriend, how are you?? Hope things are not to hectic around your place, you will have to let us know what the painting turned out like. Photos??

To everyone else - I know that you all must be very busy and that you are not sick. See you in here hopefully soon!!

Good morning ladies!!!!!

Quick random question -- does anyone want to or know anyone who would want to split the subscription to Amanda Rockwell's "In the Designer's Studio"?!?! It's her thing that has like 80+ tutorials, and 40+ cu products, etc. I'm wanting the tutorials, because I love learning new tricks. Anyways, it's two subscriptions for the price of one, so $25/each through Christmas.

Well, my meeting went well and we were able to get lots done! Then I came home and slept until dinner time LOL. Jeff was addicted to his video game yesterday, because he wanted to reach level 50 to get a special item or something. When he reaches level 50, 15 times, he unlocks a whole new portion of the game. Hmm, whatever! He tried teaching me, but I'm having a hard time getting used to the controls.

Today is going to be lots of relaxing, maybe working on some stuff, but I don't have any expectations!

Driving by and say hi as I go. I never did make it in here yesterday to visit. Hope you are all well. Busy busy doing some baking, grocery shopping, and gift wrapping, but I am off today and tomorrow. So loving that!!

Love you all.

Hey ladies...real quick. The painting came out great but I still need to figure out a tree. No clues about that. Eeeek!! I wish I had a projection screen. Any ideas? If I could come up with a stencil I would be great but no clue how to do that. I am running out of time. So today I am getting ready for our trip tomorrow morning. Friday afternoon we are meeting up with some friends from Washington in Cleveland...I actually will spend a minute to tell you about that because I think it is cool. I've probably told you about it before but quick reminder...

So, when we first came back from Italy Derek was calling to one of the floors to yell at a nurse about something and a nurse with a unique name answered that Derek recognized the name but the rank was an officer and he had known the person as an enlisted person that he had been in charge of in Cleveland nearly 10 years before. Anyway it ended up being the same guy. He had gone to nursing school, gone active duty and was also stationed at ft. Lewis and we have been hanging out with him since then in 2003. He's gotten married and had some kids since then. Well, we've become close with his wife also. They will be in Cleveland (since that is also where he is from) visiting his family but will be leaving the day after Christmas, so Christmas Eve lunch it is. They are actually going to try and get stationed here in 2012 which would be awesome if we are still here. Their other option is Ft. Hood which is...eh...not a great place to be in the Army. Giant base in the middle of nowhere, TX. That would just be awesome. Anyway, that is all I have time for. I will try and visit by phone tomorrow. You all know I get bored in the car.

I hope nobody gets too crazy over the next few days.

Oh, last thing....today is me and Derek's 10 anniversary of the day we got married (not our wedding anniversary). I actually remembered halfway through the day. I knew I would forget so sent him a text 2 days ago and wished him happy aniversary a day early yesterday. We have no money and with it being right before Christmas we'll do our celebrating on our Wedding anniversary instead. But 10 years...that's pretty cool.

Love you guys...Chris - keep the red away...THERE'S NO DAY BUT TODAY!!!!!
