After all of that banana bread talk yesterday, can you see why I am going to have a hard time losing a couple of pounds before June? hahaha.

I am going to have to step up my exercise game (what exercise??) if I am going to keep eating and cooking. Last night I cooked such a good dinner- homemade Italian bread in the crockpot (yes, in the crockpot!) and capellini with creamy broccoli pesto. I could have gone back for seconds and thirds but I didn't. I knew I wanted banana bread for dessert
Most of my day was spent working on the invites for Caitlyn. I had a "draft" version done already with plans on getting them printed as 4x6 photos (much cheaper than invites, esp with coupon codes) at Walgreens. She nixed that idea -- no one in her generation would do that, apparently not even using email. We created the invite at Paperlesspost.com and sent most of them out by text. She wanted to include some bats so I used Palvinka's Happy Haunting Overlays and blended them in. My friend from across the street (her DD is the one that is the same age as Cait and grew up together like sisters) called to tell me how proud she is and loved the MSW after her name. Guess who made sure that was included? *wink* She and her DD were trying to see if there was some cheap flight from FL so she could come. My goodness, I wish she could, I miss that girl <3
So between cooking and party planning, I was busy most of the day, I had on my list a bunch of cards that I need to make before May 1. I didn't get to them but they are back on the list for today. I was supposed to clean for my friend but her DD is in quarantine. I was thinking it should be ok if I cleaned but then realized with *everything* coming up in the next few weeks, it is smarter to be safe than sorry. Anyone have a spare Hazmat suit I can borrow until the 4th of July?
have a fabulous day!!

. Oh well it will be nice to get my hair done instead! I actually got a layout finished yesterday, but forgot to post the darn thing LOL. Guess I will have to get that done right away this morning. Heather txt me yesterday and asked if we still had her music stand, from way back when she played the flute and piano. (she was a very talented flutist!). I knew exactly where it was in the crawl space. She wants me to send it out so that Mason can set it up with his drum set. So that was my project to get done yesterday. I also got a T-shirt done for both boys so will send those out to them today.
! How exciting to see Braden on his first solo flight! Our son always wanted to learn to fly, but instead got hooked on Sailing, he is a great skipper!! Too funny that you are like the paparazzi !! I can't wait to see the photos!
