Woot woot for Hump Day!!
I better get this started quickly, since She-Cat who must not be Named is trying to escape from my bedroom ATM. I tried to convince her that she wanted to hang out in there with Ravyn, but you know what it is like trying to convince a cat anything.
It was so nice to see my MIL. She lost both of her cats last month. 2 in 2 weeks and MIL is an official crazy cat lady so it was weird to see her house pet-free. I helped steam clean her carpets, no that they won't be peeing on them anymore.
Have any of you ever heard of a cat that doesn't pee on carpets? Everyone I know who has ever had cats has complained that they do that. In fact, I need to steam clean my own carpets again soon (again!). Short of ripping up all of my carpets and getting new ones put in, it seems like a never ending battle.
And "good news" (I think.... LOL) I picked up 2 more cleaning jobs. One doesn't start until the summer and the other starts nextweek. I could not turn the woman down- this is the one I cleaned for last month who had a double mastectomy and MS. And she can't get her reconstruction done until she finishes chemo which can't start until her MS is under control better. How the heck do you say "Nope, sorry I can't help you, my ankle is swollen today" to that? Its just going to be vacuuming and light dusting, so it simply means that Gary and kids are going to have to do a bit more *here.*
(Good luck with that one Chris.....)
Do any of you have cute and easy craft ideas to make for Mother's Day? I have been looking at pinterest and haven't found anything I can make for the moms yet.
Last year I made these amazing coffee can lanterns, but sheesh, they took forever. I had to drill patterns into the metal cans. They looked really cool, but since I need to make 3-4 of whatever I decide to do, it can't be that time consuming again!
Gary's birthday is also next week and I think I am going to make him home made short breads.
Starting tomorrow through the end of June i have 7 b-days, 3 anniversaries, Mother's day and Fathers Day, and Cait's graduation. I think that is it, as I count on my fingers hahaha!
OK, that is all I can write for now. The "Zilla is pounding down my door.
WWW:
I wish cats respected personal space and time.
I wish that people wouldn't experience so much illness.
I want a personal chef, trainer and housekeeper. Now.
HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
