Okay ladies...I feel like it took me forever to get back here but here I am to say to each of you cuz I love it!!
Chris - you know...it is going to warm up and the remote start will have done you not a bit of good for the winter. Silly girl. I have to admit I would do the same thing though. I finally have my dh trained that if he gets something like that for me he needs to get it taken care of for me all the way through. This would go for things like massages or whatever. I need to have everything scheduled and taken care of or I don't get to it or think it is too much bother. Ya know?? I hope your weirdness goes away (not your loopiness, just the odd feeling you have today. lol!!) I hope Caitlin isn't sick with the flu and her cough goes away. Poor thing. I had a 2-3 year old throw up on my foot once from coughing so hard and it was horrible. I hated babysitting to begin with and then a little girl threw up on my foot. Ugh!!
Linda - Nachos and margaritas? That is my idea of heaven right there. Going out for a drink and snack to watch a game is so much fun. I'm glad I don't need to buy a toilet. I don't think I could handle buying a toilet or the thought of my dh doing any plumbing. Eeeek!!
Chris - I almost forgot...PICC lines do seem like a weird concept...I mean a very long IV that goes from your arm and into your heart but i have seen so many people with them in and they are not uncomfortable and it helps them so much. Once it is in you'll be fine. I totally understand that the idea of it is creepy and weird. Even seeing them so much it would freak me out. I wish I had an xray to send you of it though. It looks kinda cool. I'll look into that actually. Okay, here's what I found. I was going to just link you the x-ray but the story that went along with it was just too strange not to share with you. I know you are a clean freak...but don't try this at home. Read it and you'll know what I mean. To see the PICC line though it is going into the arm on the opposite side of where it says AP and you can follow it all the way to the heart. Joslyn...you should read this too. Holey Moley!!! I find it amusing but I'm a little sick like that. Here's the
LINK.
Dawn - (all said in a very quiet whisper) you and your poor head. I get a lot of sinus headaches, but only a couple of times that bad. I can't even imagine having to deal with that on a regular basis. I wish that there was something to be done about it.
Yam - Have fun with your mom. Mom's are interesting aren't they. I love mine but sometimes she is a little overwhelming. I haven't seen your layout yet. I'll have to look for that when I am done here. Have a great day with her.
Quirky - Aren't steroids the best. Not so much. Everyone here got to see the effects of me on steroids for a few days. Lots of random typing and I couldn't sit still. It made me crazy. Make sure you take it in the morning. Even doing that I didn't sleep so great. I hope your throat gets better soon. Oh, and yes husbands don't always use all aspects of their brain sometimes, do they. Hopefully dd will be getting to school on time now. That tea looks a bit strange. I think I would need someone to let me try it and then tell me what was in it. I don't think I could make myself make it on my own, kwim??
Tali - a hospital called teh Castle? That sounds cool. Does it look like a castle? That would be really cool. OUr children's hospitals around here are pretty straight forward although the insides are much cooler than the regular hospitals. I never did any training in a children's hospital but the people that did in my class loved it.
Sally - that is so sweet that Q made you breakfast. I can't wait for the day when E does that and I just know that is the type of boy he will be. He like doing stuff like that. Addie's idea of helping is to lick the beaters while they are still attached to the mixer as seen
HERE when I turn my back. I hope your french toast was yummy.
Linda - I just read...spicy mango margaritas at Chevys?? What?? I am so there. I think there is a Chevy's up in Tacoma, about 30 minutes away. I am still counting down the days when I can have a Mango margarita with Cynthia next year. Mango is my FAVORITE!!
Lia - yay on it being an Apple issue. That is awesome. Thinsg being taken care of on someone else's dime is always so much nicer. he daily O's don't have to be everyday...just stop by when you can.
Joslyn - I LOVED baby hiccups. Those were the best. Addie always got them the same time of day when I would be sitting at my desk at work and they would make me giggle every single day even though I expected them and they came like clockwork. It is the best feeling knowing that they are really becoming a little person inyour belly. Hiccups just made both of my babies so much more real to me. 38 weeks i snot pushing it too near the due date, really?? In the ER?? There is no way I would have been able to do that. I hated pushing the portable machine to the ICU (it was on the opposite side of the hospital-going to the floors and the ER was fine but not the ICU) at 6 months. I actually had a little altercation with another tech over it. He decided I was just being lazy. I worked right up until my due date though, but I was working in a clinic so it was much easier. You are one tough cookie. Although I do believe I planned on working until my due date at the hospital too if I hadn't moved to the clinic.
Kelly - Naptime for baby always means naptime for me. I always plan on getting stuff done but I always find myself snuggled in bed instead. I say send DH to the grocery store. I hate sending mine but sometimes it is a necessary evil, ya know?? Then he would understand hopefully. I send mine sometimes because he doesn't understand what a pain it is for me. He always thinks I shoudl take at least one of the kids if not both. But if your DH doesn't understand the cost of groceries let him find out for himself. That's my theory.
Well, I read in here something about stuffed artichokes so I need to head back to yesterdays posts and see what that was all about.
I am so happy to see all these people in here today. I have been so lonely in the Os for awhile with just a few of us visiting so it is nice to see so many of you. Me, in all my wordiness loves it because I get to talk more and you all know how much I have to say about nothing.
I think all the people coming by is cause for some celebrating so let's have some cake. Ooooh, not really a cake fan so brownies it will be with some big scoops of ice cream on top when they are fresh out of the oven. Enjoy!!
