The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Good morning ooo's! I see from yesterday's thread there was a whole range of emotional and physical stuff happening.
I am sending lots and lots of good thoughts, hugs and love to all of you.

Today I am off for my bone scan (again, since I didn't get it done the last time) and then to Scott's school for his Child Study appt.
We had another really bad night with him. He flipped out on us b/c I called everyone to dinner and he had to *gasp* wait a few minutes before I got all of the food on the table. Something has to get done, figured out etc, b/c the groundings, loss of phone and computer are not doing the trick.

*sighs*
fun fun fun!

I am not sure what I am cooking for dinner, but I can promise you it will be accompanied by a glass of wine (or 2 or 3... :D)

Linda W- I am holding you to that promise, hon- seriously LOL
How are you feeling today? I bet your body needed that rest. How did you do with Aiden? Is he a cutie pie? But no where near as cute as your little ones :)

Dawn- Oh wow :( On one hand I am really glad you are out of that job situation. On the other, wow... I am so sorry. But you will find a way to make it work. I have a ton of coupon sites, rewards/Survey programs- I'll post them all to you soon. I also have a site that reviews all of the WAH type things, might be helpful too.

ME- hey there! always good for no traffic!

Dianne- my DS is 13 and I have to get up before him or he'd never get up. He can sleep through his alarm no matter how loud it is.

Good luck with your other DD. I feel for you- the stress with Scott (DS) kills me, eats at me. One thing I have to say about the ladies here, is that they are so supportive, and not judgmental at all. I find that some of my "IRL" friends either judge me, or tell me what I need to do. here, at the O, i get the love and support I need. I hope that you can too.
I live for my To-Do List -- Ok well, I don't live for it, but I can't live w/o it. If not for that I swear I would just wander around in circles!

I think you should go for the photography! What a great opportunity. And remember the wonderful thing w/ digital is that you can shoot a ton of pics- and even if only half come out good- you still have a half a ton of pics that are awesome!!

Woo hoo Lori!! You sound like you are on a roll!! LOL at the boys being quiet :)

Clara-- Yay for Mondays LOL One of these days it will be so ingrained in our heads we will really mean it!
I am so proud of you helping Cindi like this. You are one awesome momma!!!

Andrea-- wooot!!!! Great job on your paper!!!!! Hope that Gen is feeling lots better today. I hope that your grant $$ comes in soon. I hate the feeling of being broke- it bites!

Linda S- oh such good news about your mom!!!!! That is great that they caught it so quickly. Really great! My mom is 67 and still has never had a mammo done. Breaks my heart that she will take such a risk like that- when if something is wrong, she won't know until it is too late. :( Tell your mom good for her and I am sending her love too!
How did your meeting for Shaun go?

Ok I need to go dry my hair- it is freezing here this morning.
xoxoxo and I hope that today is a GREAT day for all of you!

omgosh...i literally was posting and it just went back to the forum listing!! lost it all..

i just wanted to tell everyone to HAVE A HAPPY TUESDAY and i LOVE you all!!!
Chris, we are with you all the way, babe!! LindaS, soo glad your mom got a good report! LindaW, happy that Aiden was a joy yesterday!! Di, HUGS, HUGS< HUGS, sooo glad you are here in one of my fave support systems!!! Clara, hugs to your neighbor and you!!! Lori, have fun takin care of those sweeties!! Andrea, ohhhhh poor Gen today!! Hugs to you, babe!!

I'm sure I missed a bunch of my bffs, but just know i'm thinking of you and am missing all the chatter here!!! :)

i'm off to do school!!

Where is everyone at? I hope everyone is having a great day today. I went to bed so early last night by Derek has the TV on so loud I can't really sleep. But I went running this morning anyway. Still hate running but I am trying. It was definately not as bad as it was the first time although I now know I need to get some insoles.

Today is a pretty good day. I need to get a prescription filled at lunch. They gave me topamax for my headaches. Does anyone know much about it, besides that it is a seizure medication but works well in low doses for headaches. I'm just tired of having headaches.

So, my neighbor's daughter thinks she is so smart and is definately building a case against herself. Cindi scheduled a visit yesterday for the kids at McDonalds. Her daughter Jill demanded a visit on Saturday and Cindi refused and eventually scheduled them for Monday and Wednesday. So last night the mom didn't show. I know the daughter knew she was supposed to be there. She's 7. I know Jill is trying to prove a point but all it is doing is making her look like she doesn't care about her kids. She's trying to hurt Cindi but that's not who is affected by it. Then on the phone that night she told her son (10) that she would be seeing him on Friday. I'm thinking she is pretty sure she's going to be getting them back on Friday. There is just no way a judge will give her back custody of her kids. No way. Friday just seems so far away.

Chris - Good at luck at the meeting today. That really sucks about Scott. I hope things get better soon. I wish there was an easy answer but my guess is that this will be continuing for a bit. Too bad you can't just sprinkle him with some faery dust and make him in a good mood all the time. :)

Sally - that keeps happening to me lately. It never happened to me for the longest time and now it happens all the time. Lame!!! I am totally trying to adopt your feelings about Monday. Maybe a year from now after telling myself over and over again that I love Mondays I'll believe it.

I hope everyone has a fantastic day.

I am here Clara...sorry for my tardiness today!!...

I have been super busy today....even though my new baby didn't come today....his MaMaw wanted to keep him!! LOL!! I understand that one!!! We had a really good first day!! He is a little spoiled....he would get fussy and I would have to pick him up and I would love him and talk to him...then I put him back down and talk to him while he was down...and then he would be fine. Him Mama was impressed on how good he was. My biggest concern was they didn't bring much milk for him, and he eats a lot! She pumps, and they only brought enough for three bottles..and one of the bags leaked so he was short two ounces...he ended up falling asleep for three hours, so that passed enough time....til she got here to pick him up...but he was screaming when they left...he was hungry!!!!! I told her she needed to decide about what to do when he runs out!!! I do have formula in the cabinet!!

So Sharon and I ended up going to Sams this morning...and I actually got out of there with only spending $139....I was happy!!! But I still have to run to the groc store to pick up a couple of things....not much.

WEll...I need to run...I will try to get back for some personals in a bit....I need to go to the groc store...and get my free latte at SB....it's right in front of the groc store...how convienant!!! I got one of those survey things last week...so I get a free one this week!! YAY!!!

(((((HUGS))))) my friends and family!!!!:p

Clara-I take Topamax, it's a Godsend. I'm on 200mg a day and have been for quite a while. I'm almost headache free now, remember not too long ago I was complaining all the time LOL. I take that and 800mg of Ibuprofen three times a day because I have a lot of neck issues as well. It's really helping. Most people get by on a lot lesser dose of Topamax, did you start out at 25 or 50 a day? One good thing is it helps curb appetite...for a while at least. Alas, I also take Effexor which helps pack wt on so LOL Topamax didn't help me much in that area. The only negative side effects I had with Topamax were my thought process was a little screwy and my memory is a little worse, of course that could all be age related hahaha. Other than that it's a thumbs up for me :). Good luck to ya!!! ooh, WTG on the running! Keep at it, I used to love running, ran track in school, it hurts my shins something awful but I still like it (well not so sure now that I'm heavier LOL)!!! I was hoping I'd have some time to work on exercise and such but I've already had an interview, today...more later.

Chris-I hope everything went well with Scott. (((((hugs)))))

You are soooo right about the support and friendship here, it is soooo not like RL. Even my DH is not as supportive as the ladies here at the O. I try to talk to him and he always has 'the answer' or has to tell me 'what I did wrong'.
Thank you again for posting all of the awesome links! I will spend some time with those later and tomorrow. Just fab!!!!!!

Aiden sounds like a cutie, and a bit of a handful (mama's boy) :). Sure does sound like he needs more milk! Woohooo on the good shopping run!!!!!

((((hugs)))) sweetie!

Well today I ended up sleeping late which I did not intend to do. I got up at 9am. Amanda and I went to get a few groceries and I txt msg'd a friend of mine I used to work with. It just happens there's a front desk position where she works. That's something I've not done yet, will be checking patients in and out and things like that. I went today for an interview, she(the ofc mgr) wanted me to come right over, I was at walmart and in jeans, no makeup, and my hair wasn't fixed but she said she didn't care....she seemed really nice. The office mgr/nurse practitioner said it's the hardest job there , I can certainly imagine, I've seen them in action. It will be a large pay cut but it's only 5 min from home where before it was 40 min. So I will be saving time and gas :). I would be working 4.5 days a wk. It's a one doctor/one nurse practitioner practice so much smaller than what I'm used to which I think will be nice. I also filed unemployment just in case but perhaps I won't need it.

Sooo, that's my news for the day .

Cool. I'm looking forward to being headache free. My ARNP started me on 25mg and I am going to get the prescription filled tonight.

If your shins hurt when you run you probably get shin splints and they are the easiest thing to get rid of. If you ever want to start running again and I'll let you know a few exercises to make them go away.

That's awesome about the possible job. A pay cut isn't so bad if it is less stress. Plus they can use you to fill in if someone is sick or something. I always loved reception work I just hated filing. That's why I went to x-ray school, to never have to file again. So far so good, no filing yet.

Heck, I even have shin pain at a fast walk....what helps? Can't wait to hear, that might encourage me to start up again :).

I'm a little excited/nervous about the job possibility. We shall see :).
