Day 2 of the work week and it is another cold and rainy one here. Looks like it is going to be nice for the weekend so that is good.
Great news from the ID dr yesterday. It was worth every penny to take him. He looked at Scott's labs, his meds, his treatment over the last 3 years, and said that it was 100% appropriate and that he would tell the idiot doctor that. Ok, so he didn't call the other dr an idiot.... but he knew his type and has dealt with them before. How sad is it that this is not an uncommon situation for Lyme patients?
But now, it should be over, whew!!!
For those of you who don't know the whole story, Scott (DS) saw a doctor one time who said that he didn't believe that he had late stage Lyme, that I was not giving him proper medical treatment. A treatment team at the center then said that i had to take him to another doctor for a second opinion or that the State DYFS would be involved. This has been going on since june, and finally, I feel like I breathe a sigh of relief.
Then, after the appt was over, my sweet DS asked how far we were frommy mom's house. We were about an hour from home, and about 15 mins back to my mom's. So we went to her house and surprised her. Talk about making my heart smile!! She was so happy to see him (ok, maybe me too, a bit LOL) she kept hugging him and he let her
He made her day. I have the bestestestest kids!
Gotta get going- late late late for a not very important date- the bus stop, yay....
I am working from home today so i will be back for personals
xoxo
