Good morning and a happy Tuesday to everyone! I should also add in good afternoon and evening for those of you who pop in here later, or those of you who live in earlier times zones.

Not much to say ATM, I am sipping my coffee and have to get the kids off to school in a few. Its getting colder and darker each morning and no one wants to get out of bed. Except Bunny who thinks that I bring her treats every time I go into Cait's room.

Laurie- oh, poor hands and body and knees. But you are seeing results, and that helps so much! Have you been taking pics of your progress?

Hi Phyllis! Ugh- I hate those mornings after weird dreams, it is so disorienting.

Fran- that is so funny- I think so many men are like that. What cars are you test driving?

Clara-- OMG! Addie's costume sounds adorable! How is your foot today? Too bad you aren't at work, you could x-ray yourself

nana!!! Is that coffee spiked? ;)

Trudy-- All of my morning glories are still blooming like crazy too! I have been collecting the seeds, but I can't bring myself to rip them all down yet.
The teddy bears sound adorable, share pics please!

Morning Chris & all- it surely is dark out- so glad I have my light! I even have a co-worker getting one this week too! I stayed up too late scrapping last night and boy when my wake up the sun is rising light alarm comes on- there is no falling back asleep. I have been taking photos along the way. I was going to go down and paint last night, but decided to clear some of the mess up here instead. My living room looks nice and inviting. I'm trying to do flyladies holiday missions

Tip for Tuesday- if you want to be prepared for Christmas try flylady's holiday missions and control journal

always chatty at the O!!
Good morning ladies. This morning we have Princess and the Frog. Not my favorite...but it gives me some computer time for a bit until she decides she's hungry. Let's see...today is Tuesday...not much going on. Just me and Addie hanging out until school time. I do need to go get some ribbon for her costume.

Anyway...

Chris - Enjoy your day. My foot is a lot better today. A little sore but not like yesterday. I was wishiing the same thing...that I could just get a quick x-ray. Hopefully soon. I've been scouring for jobs. Ugh!! A bit daunting.

Laurie - You keep talking about the Flylady and I keep thinking I need to reintroduce myself to her plans...but just can't quite get myself there. Keep mentioning her...maybe it will stick eventually.

I hope everyone has a fantastic day today.

grin! one of the perks of being so OLD is that i don't have to listen to "barbie princess charm school!!!" i'm currently listening to/watching the new PBS "Case Histories," starring the guy who played Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies! at 9:15 a.m.! Ah, most excellent solitude. there's something so fab about autonomy.

it's going to be 65 degrees outside today. gotta figure out a reason for getting OUTSIDE and enjoying it while we can. i am so dreading winter this year....

Happy Day to all.

Morning, everyone!! :)
This is my crazy, crazy week!! This THursday I have two friends from the creative fabric team that I'm on coming down to stay with me this weekend for Quilt Market!! Super excited about it! :) But that entails getting all of my projects done that are due at the beginning of next week and getting my house back in order. When you do projects all the time and all of the extracurricular stuff we do, something suffers and that's always the house in our case!!! I'm hoping my friends don't regret staying here and wish they had stayed at a hotel instead!! :) Man, if I had thought ahead, I would have gotten guest baskets from FaeryWings!!! darn!!!!!!!!!

i better get cracking!! My first goal of the day is to finish up the last 7 advent calendars for this week. I'm down to binding and buttons!! yipeeee!!! and that means they get mailed out tomorrow! yay!! I had an order to australia, so i'm a little worried about shipping. I know priority works fast, so that's how I'm going. :)

have a wonderful day, everyone!!!! :)
love you all!!

Morning all!

I was soooo good today; I got up and went to the gym! yeah me! now I hope it's just a 'start as you mean to go on'. Just a half hour but a good start. I didn't want to come home achy.

I even had the load of laundry in the washer last night on the timer so it was done when I got up. Just one load of his summer shirts to go on the line. I think it's almost ...almost ...guaranteed long sleeve shirt weather for my sugarplum. I want to put summer clothes away!!

Phlyis...I watched Part 1 of "Case Histories" last night. I'd seen part 2 Sunday but missed 1 when we were in New Orleans. I LOVE it!!! However watching it via my computer --> to tv, didn't give me the option for subtitles for the hearing impaired. I usually put them on when there's a heavy accent. I can hear but sometimes miss the dialect. Dh is hopeless with any accent not that he watches...I need to see if I can figure that out on the computer end but don't give it much hope. Isn't the scenery gorgeous?!?!? I suspect they learned to add a lot of that to draw the foreign audience in...tourism at work!

Back later ladies.

Mmmmm coffee... nectar of the Gods!!

Chris - I remember those morning getting up before everyone and trying to wake up before the dreaded task of waking up the grouchy monsters for school! I don't miss it!!

Laurie - looking forward to photos of your progress!! Hope the aches and pains are better today!

Clara - I don't get to watch all those cute shows, but I am looking forward to it when my grandkids are older and they come to visit! Their mom and dad really limit the tv time so its kind of a treat when they stay with grandma and grandpa "T." Glad to hear that your foot is feeling better today!

Kiliki - Looking forward to seeing those new photos of the girls! Hope you did not lose your pinky nail OUCH!

Sally - My goodness I don't know how you do it all!! You make my head spin girl !! Must be like an big assembly line for your calendars!! Hope you have a very productive day and get all things accomplished!! Mailing to Aussie land can be kind of iffy!! Some times it gets there pronto, other times not so much! But then maybe your postal service is better than here!!

Here are a couple of photos for Chris and Maureen of my bears.

Maureen, i'm having a bit of trouble with the accent, too, with some of the people. for example, i have absolutely NO IDEA what was going on at the end of the 2nd show. the kid of the female cop, sitting there with all the candles? NO idea what he was saying! Fiona's from Glasgow and i understand her perfectly! i have another friend in Edinburgh and i understand HER perfectly, too. dunno why i can't get some of the people on this show!

the show really does showcase Edinburgh well. i'm liking it a lot, so far.

Trudy! how do i buy some of your bears! seriously!
Phylis - I usually just do special orders for people that already have their own fur coats that they want turned into bears, I wasn't getting much business lately so I kinda stopped doing it and now that my brother wants some done for his MIL I have to order some more supplies. :sorry: i don't have any bears at home to sell to you :pout:

Back to Phylis...if you're watching it live anytime, like this coming sunday, put the subtitles they do for the hearing impaired on. We have Verizon and it's a setting on our remote. I do it for almost all non US programs.

When the son had the candles, he finally admitted he just froze when he saw the beating, and felt so so scared. Glad that came out cause this series is too short to wonder if he's a jerk or just a full of bravado teen. Next Sunday is the last show.

Sorry I didn't have the time to post this morning, but thought I would drop in and say Good Evening......long day at work as I'm obsessing about my halloween costume.....running here and there after work to get it all together. I've decided to be a Vampire Queen. Got the costume at the Halloween store and just need to play with the makeup to get the right look.....our company is giving $200 dollars to 3 winners.....

Chris - DH has it whittled down to, I thought 2 cars, now he's thrown another one into the mix.....sheesh.....#1 KIA Optima, #2 Hyundai Sonate, #3 Hyundai Genesis Coup.....I say the Kia Optima, that's my choice.

Trudy - OMG those bears are to die for.....cute cute cute...what a talent you have.

Kristy - Your kids are beauties for sure....

Well off to see what trouble I can brew up on the boards....hee hee.....
