i think that I used up my week's worth of energy yesterday hahahahha! I didn't sleep good last night and I am tired and achy today.

But my hair looks GREAT!! My hairdresser was here from 1:30 to 8:30... she did foils and a keratin treatment for me, plus a cut. (She also cut Cait and gary, did a relaxer and cut for Scott, and my neighbor came over for a cut). Caitlyn took several pics of me on her phone in various stages of hair-issues. The alien look- (full head of foils) and the Poodle look (frizz-bomb of my hair put up on two side while I was getting the keratin done on the back). She straightened my hair super straight for the keratin but now I can't wash it for 72 hours. Good thing I have no one special to go!
By the time she left, I was sooooo tired. Who knew that getting your hair cut could be so exhausting?


Today I am steam cleaning my carpets and then I am going to an ice cream tasting study. Two trips to taste ice cream, give feedback and get paid. Yay!

Better move along to get the kids ready for the bus.

Morning all - I slept 8 hours last night- several more than usual

Chris- what a fun time- having a hair house party- we used to have a hairdresser come to our house- can't wait to see the pics

Good morning all :) Yup I'm running today .... 10 hour work day for me .... :hurt: I'm tired this morning didn't sleep well last night either
 
morning y'all! I think I'll join the tired crew today. I slept fine last night, just got to bed late and cursed when the alarm went off.

chris, how lucky you are that your hairdresser comes to the house! imagine if you had to spend all that time in the salon.
 
Good morning..............I am cooking cooking cooking............

I have gotten a pot of chili on, and also made some spaghetti sauce......both are slow cooking on the stove for most of the day.........

and then I have to use up some cookie mix I have so I can get the box tops off...HAHA...Cameran's School is in a contest this week.......so Chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies for all!!!! (these are the mixes that in the pouches...so you can't just cut the box tops off)

I woke up with a worse headache this morning than yesterday.........so I took a WHOLE handful of advil.........yes I know...not bright.........but it worked...not to mention the GO MODE I am in now!!!!

Morning all... It's so foggy outside this morning that I can hardly see the neighbours house. So hope that means that the sun is coming out today to burn off the fog! I am so happy to be able to spend as much time as I want today on the computer so I can get some scrapping done. Still working on my daughters scrapbook, so I have a few birthday and school pages to get finished. I usually get sidetracked and end up making other LO's instead, but will try to keep focused and work on her stuff LOL.

Vicki - Good morning to you :wave: Somedays don't you want to just throw the alarm clock across the room?? Hope your day is great!!

Krista - Long day for you today especially if you did not sleep well!! Hope you get some relax time later!!

Laurie - Whoo Hoo for the eight hours, you must feel like a new woman!! I know I do when I sleep well! Oh and yes my hubby is feeling better today, he is at work and says his throat is still a little sore, but much better.

Chris - How lucky are you to have your hairdresser come to the house?? I would love to see some of those photos that were taken, especially of when you had the foils in your hair!! LOL. Tasting Ice cream and getting paid...can I come?? Hope your carpets come out nice and clean!!

Clara - how are you?? I hope that your son learns lots about Halloween, and I agree with you on the neighbour thing, if you can't be bothered to get dressed up to go trick or treating, then just stay home!!!

Well, I hate to say it, but I slept great, woke up great...I'm still in a little tizzy about all I have to do, but that's normal, right???? :) We actually are having car issues today - ie, I have to cut my lunch short with a friend so that Cora can get to her college algebra class!! yikes!! This totally thrills me because it means that MR GORGEOUS IS HERE!!! You WILL get sick of me saying this!! I know it!! LOL!!

So today I'm going to try to whip up a lambie, a sheep and two taggie blankets. I'm going to see how long that all takes and then sew accordingly this week.

Tomorrow I'm off on a Homeschool field trip to the corn maze/pumpkin patch farm with my two little ones. Guess what that means??? PICTURES!!! YIPEEEEE!!! I"m really really excited. I've been scrapping up a storm, but I haven't really had any new pics to scrap, so it's off to the fall farm to play tomorrow! With some of our best friends...it'll be great. Cora's a little hacked she can't go, but alas, in high school you have to sacrifice a little! LOL!!

Anyway, I'm off to get started on the cutting of my two stuffies....

Hey Sally.... we must have been posting at the same time. Sounds like you have a busy day planned! Hope its a great one for you. We all love you too :kiss:
 
The kids were running super late today, though thankfully we had a sub bus driver so he was even later! I get to study now learning all the muscle groups. Thankfully they only selected some and not all for us to memorize and learn. We have a quiz on them tomorrow and I've only just started today. Though I've learned that the quizes aren't really worth much. They are really to get you prepared for the real exams so I'm not too worried.

Sally: how do you like homeschooling? I'm seriously considering it once my 3 start middle school. My oldest starts next year already. My youngest, 8, wants to be homeschooled now. My daughter (9) says she wants to try middle school first and if she doesn't like it then she'll be homeschooled. My 10 yr old just doesn;t want to do it at all. But the local middle and high schools are full of bullys and the teachers are not all that great. If I feel that I can do a better job teaching, then the teachers are definitely not good!

Clara: Which puppy is this? Griffie? I've missed this whole conversation. How are you enjoying homeschooling? How is Ethan adjusting? I love that you can go visit family whenever you want when you don't have the boundaries of an actual school. You can guide your children in how you want them to grow!
 
Looks like Petra and I crossed each other on the road today!! I'm now somewhere south of Mt Shasta, past the lake. All is well so far on the road. DH is driving now, I hope there's an angel ridding with us, lol. Scary.

Lots of roadwork, hoping to pull into the Portland suburbs a little after nine.

Gtg feeling carsick.

Not really hon cause we got to Riverside/Colton around 7 PM last night and we didn't drive today. We were lucky and had great weather to drive in for the most part. Today it is just raining and raining here. Hope you won't feel sick much longer yuck!
 
Petra -- opps I mis-read your post on the other Daily O's thread, lol. Hard to keep track of things on the tiny iphone screen.

We got in right about 9pm... I'll give a better update when the sun rises, lol. It was a huge lesson learned.

Hey ladies!!

I took Derek to the airport today with our dog. I am so glad everything went smoothly and they are both at our house in NC now. We are limited to communication by computer and work phones since he left hisp hone here. Knucklehead. That's his way. No surprise. LOL!! Tomorrow I am visiting Lacey, or the area I used to live. Meeting a friend for lunch then meeting up with some other friends. It will be a long day but it should be fun. I think I might even drop into my small group. I just hope it is still going on these days.

Anyway, I'll chat with you guys tomorrow. Hopefully a little earlier so that I can give you guys some love.
