May sure did fly by, didn't it? We went from freezing cold, to super hot and humid! The kids still have 4 weeks to go for school, and no A/C in the schools.

I had a pretty relaxed weekend in PA. That bottle of wine was gone before too long.

Back to the insanity of my life today- we are going to start digging the back yard up to see if we can find the broken drain pipe in the septic. Gotta get to the supermarket first.

Hope you all have a great day!

xoxo

Good Luck Chris- back to work for me- so I will miss the humidity most of the day, but will miss the sun too. I will be moving into a new room for both therapy and office- in several months- it will be great to be away from the rest of the dept- hopefully less interuptions, but it is an inside of the building room so no windows and I won't be traveling to the front office to be able to see out the door to see the weather. I will have to make it a routine to walk around the building at lunch once it happens. Or I will need to get one of those daylight lights you use Chris!

Hi Chris....Hi Laurie

Hope everyone is doing okay.....we are having a major heat wave right now.....nearly 100 degrees all week!!! INSANE!!!!!!! It's going to be a hot muggy ballgame tonight.

Cameran and Jesse will be out of school next week...Half day on Wed next week and they are done. I am making a schedule for the Summer...and I am going to try and stick to it....I have gathered lists of things going on around town....I have a fllyer from the library...we will have something there about every other week..and we will go once a week anyway to keep Cameran reading....Last Summer we didn't go that often, and he fell behind in his reading...but he caught back up and went to the head of his class by the 3rd month of school....we talked about it last week and he said he doesn't want to do that again....so he is all for doing the reading program....if he reads 5 books he gets a prize from the library...and 5 more, another prize...and so on....so he likes that idea.

Laurie.....I have worked places with no windows....I didn't like it too much...I think the daily walk will be MUCH needed when you get moved. But nice for the less interuptions for you!!!

Chris....I am glad you had a relaxing time in PA...and drank your bottle of wine....you didn't save a sip for me??? :becky: Good luck on the digging..I hope the pipe isn't too far down!!!

Okay..everyone else..have a great day!!!!

Happy Tuesday. I am very happy for a short week. Derek has an even shorter week. Friday he is leaving for a week to go to a NucMed thing in Texas. He's going with the rest of his guys who I like and trust him to travel with. Of course they will be staying on the River Walk so hopefully they don't drink too much. Of course his drink budget will be pretty minimal. he hasn't been to San Antonio since he was a student and too young to drink (not that it stopped him). So he should have a good time there.

Well, I promised Addie we would do something fun today and my time is quickly slipping away. I spent the morning doing HIPAA training for volunteering at the hospital. I still haven't gotten everything together for volunteering at the hospital. I'm gonna finish it this week now that my HIPAA stuff is don. They said it was a 7 hour course which was a little overwhelming. But I finished it in an hour since I already knew the information for the most part. Anyway, time to go. I'll try and hop in later.

Happy Tuesday. 4-day weeks are the best way to get over Mondays.

I agree that 4 day weeks rock!

Glad that you got through the HIPAA stuff Clara. Volunteering will be awesome.

Linda that heat wave sounds awful! We are supposed to get up to 90's I think...which will get the pool warmed up so I don't mind. Before long we are going to get a hospital bed for Mom and put it in front of the window that looks out over the pool so that she will be able to watch the grandkids having fun in the pool. But for now she is still ok without it.

Chris, I hope you find the break quickly. And I can't believe that the kids still have 4 weeks of school. We finish next Monday and we are finishing late around here.

Laurie, I agree with Linda...without windows you definitely need to take walks.

Later ladies!
