ME!!!! Welcome back!! You have definitely been missed, not just here but everywhere we both were, which was a lot of places. lol!! I'm glad you popped your head in and I hope you continue to do so.
Today is another decent day, although that headache I have been fighting is back today in full force. I think I am at about my limit and going to make a doctor appt. Enough is enough. Today my sis is having surgery on her foot. She is probably going in right now as we speak. She has a horrible bunion on her foot so they essentially have to restructure her big toe. It has bothered her for a long time but she just couldn't deal with it anymore. My mom is babysitting her today and tomorrow and I go up tomorrow night after work and then stay until Saturday. I'm sure she'll be moving around by then. It will probably be my job to help her figure out how to start getting mobile to more than just the bathroom. She can't drive for 4 weeks. She took her car to my parents' house just so that she wouldn't be tempted. Yesterday was a very rough day for her. She's a social worker supervisor and she had everything all figured out while she was gone but then both of her back ups ended up in the hospital. How does that happen? Craziness!!
So, tonight my brother is coming over to hear all about our cruise from Ethan I am sure. Tuesdays his fiancee does a dinner thing with her girlfriends every week so when he visits us, it is always on Tuesdays. It will be fun. Always is.
So, I said I would try for personals yesterday but it didn't happen. I did get my new computer though. It isn't working quite yet, but almost. Yay!! I have a monster screen which would be really cool if I could play with Photoshop. Too bad. Anyway, on to personals...
Chris - you are better than me. My day would be over as soon as it started and I would be napping the rest of the day once the kids were off to school. I hope the coffee helps you get up and moving if that is what you need to do. If not I hope you can get some sleep.
Linda - I understand those trade your kids in days. You don't want to trade them in for another kid, just a different version of them. The happy version they were last week. That was my Saturday night. the kids were all hitting each other,, to include the sweetheart girl next door who is always sweet as can be. I was ready to bonk their heads together and sell them to the gypsies, for sure. We were headed home from church and I think I lost every little bit of Christianity I had just gained. It was bad!! Fortunately for them, they all lived, but only by a hair.
ME - I hope you get some scrapping in and are able to add something recent on to your gallery. I'll bet C has gotten big since you've been here last. You need to scrap something soon so we can see.
Andrea - Yay for work and money!! You need a job like mine where you are at work but only occasionally working. Like right now I am at work but chatting with all of you.
Speaking of chatting...I need to find a way to join the chat tomorrow. I'll be at work and I can't seem to be able to chat from my work computer. I was going to ask a coworker if I could use her internet usb thing...but she got fired yesterday. So I don't see that happening. And the coffee shop that has wifi is just barely too far away to pick up the signal from my laptop. It is a bummer. I'll try and figure it out. Wish me luck!! I'll play with it today and see if I can get my work computer to make it work. We'll see. Ciao.
