Happy tuesday that feels like a Monday for me ;)
But that means its a good day, eh??

Not quite sure about any of that LOL

So we ended up with a bit over an inch of wet sloppy heavy snow. Tomorrow they are predicting "moderate accumulation." WTH is that about???

It is spring! I saw bits of green in my garden. Go away snow!!!

I have to get my head moving, the brain has been very foggy lately.

Tip on Tuesday....
yeah.... i got nuthin'

Have a fabulous day!

I was bad, never made it back for personals. Like I said, brain has been like molasses and mud.
My crazy kitty is right next to me and she says hi. She is so bad- she drags anything that she can all over the house. wii remotes, the dog bed, toys-- kids and dogs.... I am surprised she hasn't dragged off the kids...

Kristy- oh your weather sounds perfect!!! I can't wait for us to get warm.

sally- LOL Pickles??? Poor YMG! Hope that you got lots done (besides finding super-cute sheep paper clips )
I am proud of you w/ the no caffeine. I don't think I could ever do that.

Kristy- at one point. Gary's dr told him to come off caff. It got to the point where I was practically begging him to drink coffee he was so darn cranky!

Meg- another digiscrapper would be a great addiiton! Hope that you guys had a really nice day together.

Trudy- yay for no more dentist!

Clara- I know, its so sad the party is over

But there are still the Monthly Challenges to do if you haven't done them yet!

it is 7:23 am and it is 61* out already!!! im just sooooooo happy i no longer have to turn on my heat!!! its a grand thing LOL...considering our electric bill is 300 dollars in the winter (we have electric heat) so yeah to turn that dang heat off and leave it off its nice haha

chris- eww snow!??! TELL IT TO GO AWAY its spring for cryin out loud!!! but then again we have been known to get snow in april here LOL...so i wouldnt be at all surprised to see snow in the forecast

Good Morning Ladies  I was a bad girl and never got back in here for personals yesterday. Was so tired of sitting for so long in the truck that hubby and I decided to just have soup and a sandwich for supper and then we headed out for a long walk. It was so nice and still and not too chilly, it was so good to stretch our legs and get some excercise. We had spent the whole afternoon the day before in backyard cleaning up all the pinecones and small branches from the windstorms that we have had all winter. But its really starting to look a lot better back there. MG even reseeded the front lawn. Now if we would just get some sunshine and warmer weather we will be set for spring growth.

Chris - I hope that your head starts to clear and your fogginess goes away!! Too funny about your kitty ( I now have a vision of your cat dragging your kids around the house :pound: ) I once had a cat that brought home a baby bunny (dead of course) and presented it to me at the bottom of the front steps. She was a great hunter!! I will pray to the snow gods to leave you alone ok??

Kristy - Wow how nice that you have such warm weather! Ouch on the heating bill... we have a heat pump and love it, heating bills are a fraction of what you pay. Keeps us cool in the summer too.

Nana Linda - I hope everything is ok with you and yours!! Thinking of you sweetie!! I bet you can't wait to visit that sweet new grandbaby of yours!

Clara - I am sad about the party being over also, but we still have lots of challenges to do!

Sally - Love the sheep paperclips... right up your alley! Hope your day is full of fun and that you get everything on your list done.

Meg - Wow your In-laws are going to love you! How generous of you to share your refund with them. I need a new IMac (just a suggestion lol)

Well I finally got my computer/craft room all cleaned up and threw out a ton of stuff (donated most of it to the local thrift shop) So I can actually get into the closet and totally got rid of one whole storage cupboard! Horray for purging!! It feels so good to get rid of that stuff!!!
Have a great day everyone!

Ohhh Trudy, your purging is inspiring me!!! How Exciting!!

Kristy, are you in Omaha? It's funny because down here our high electric bills are in August!! (6 bedroom house=ridiculous amounts to pay!!) We're always thankful for a $200 bill!! LOL!!

Chris, I'm watching that kitty of yours!! If we don't hear from you, we know the kitty has dragged you off!!! :) I remember when i was little and living in North Dakota, there would always be snow on the ground through my brother's birthday (april 4th). And as I got older, I couldn't believe we lived in Houston with no snow whatsoever!!! Come on down, honey!! It's in the 80s this week!! crazy, crazy!!!

So, I'm about to do a blog post about change, because i {adore} change!! and it sooo gets me into trouble!! Most people do not like change, but i need it...I even switch grocery stores all the time! I realized today it was because i need different things, places, wildness in my life!! Luckily, short trips and moving furniture usually satiates me!! :)

So anyway, today's to-dos...very simple...finish two sewing projects and iron 3 shirts. And one last thing...go to the grocery store. That's it for me today. If I want to do other stuff, I'll do it (design three new quilts...LOL!!, fold some laundry, clean out a cabinet or two), but absolutely no stress on myself!! I'm halfway done with one of the sewing projects, and the second is for one of our members here, so that will be super fun!! :)

hugs to everyone who pops in and to all who have popped in!!
love you all!!

we used to be in omaha we just recently moved 20mins south of Lincoln just last august :) so really our electric bill is comparable to what we were paying in omaha in the winter for our gas and electric...cause the electric bill here is not only the heating/cooling but its the lights and everything else...so ehhh 310....is really not that bad and our house is huge so we are using more electricity out here than we did in omaha LOL

we weren't in this house to see what the electric bills will be over the summer LOL we moved in and we really didnt have to use the a/c much at all....and our bills were around ohh gosh 50-60 bucks LMAO....so it'll be intresting to see what they are this year...i might invest in some window fans haha

Maybe there's an FAQ I missed, but what IS this daily O? Should anyone join in? If you do, does it then become required?

Well, anyway, you mostly know I'm a birder and we just got home from a short visit to a local spot where we saw quite a few new spring arrivals and were extremely pleased that some of the Fox Sparrows were singing. They are pretty spiffy looking birds with a beautiful flute-like song. So they say we may get snow again soon here in northern Ohio, but it truly is spring!

I have definitely been turning off my heat here. the broken heater caused me all sorts of issues with my heat bill...$450 last month because of the outrageous heating upstairs. The heat wouldn't turn off. But now we are looking at AC pricing. It was never that bad though. It was always about $100. That $450 bill kicked my butt. My husband won't keep his hands off the thermostat which makes me crazy. He is always turning it on and off and up and down. ugh!!

So, today I went and bought stuff for Ethan to build a shadow box of Jupiter...but he has to finish writing his report first. Only 3 paragraphs, which is nice. All that stuff was expensive. I thought we would get a big foam ball but the big one was $20. I had no idea.

How about some personals before I do a little bit of scrapping...

Chris - I'm sorry you have mush brain. I hope the fog goes away soon. And i will tell the sun here to shine on you too and heat things up for you.

Kristy - I am so feeling you on that heating bill. it sure does stink. I hope it starts going down soon. very cute LO!!

Trudy - Sounds like you ended your long day nicely. Don't you hate that you have to ressed your lawn each year? That annoys me so much in Washington too...but there is something cathartic about doing the spring yard work. It is like saying the winter is over and you can move.

Alrighty...I am headed off of here. i'll chat tomorrow before my sister gets in tomorrow night.

Jean - The Daily O's are just a place to come in and say hey and talk about what's going on in your life that you want to share. There are no requirements to it and you can pop in and out whenever you want. It is just for fun to get to know each other better. Some people share a lot (I wouldn't know anything about that) and others share a little. So jump on in whenever you want and say hi!! We are all pretty friendly and anyone that bites, doesn't bite hard.

Clara!! Isn't styrofoam ridiculously priced???? I got some little styro balls for the kids to make atoms last semester, and one little bag (maybe 8 itty bitty little spheres) was 10$!! So we've used the same ones for everything we need them for!! :)

Jean, welcome to the daily Os....Clara really is the only one who bites, so no worries there!! Your birding adventures sound wonderful!! and I've been loving your LOs, too!!

Omgosh, Kristy! My Lillian and I had almost this exact convo last night!!! too funny!! Lil doestn' really love pizza, so she didn't want to eat it, but she was hungry! and then to leave the table, she said she was full. I made her eat all of it so I wouldn't have to hear how hungry she was! (now i've made myself hungry for pizza!! LOL!!!)

girls...i went to the grocery store...that's about all i can take today!! just sayin'...off to find a good book to read!! :)

hugs
