The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
So tired...... and so far behind! Man, i need the day to really get my butt and head pulled together. What a mess my office is! Papers everywhere. No way to know if I am coming or going any more.
Almost there though, 2 more days of school. That's it..... it has been a really loooooooong year!

Yesterdays appr for Scott went "ok." Since he didn't have blood work done last time (insurance issues) we didn't know which direction to go in since so many different symptoms are back. So we'll give this (some new meds) a shot and see how it goes...... It is all such a crap-shoot.

Gary and I have also decided we are going to get our Rx filled through a Canadian website. It would be $500 for each of us to get it filled here w/ no insurance coverage. Less than $100 each if we go through Canadian mail order. Have any of you ever done that? I know that there are some bogus companies out there, and I know there are some good ones. If you ladies have any idea of a good one, can you let me know?

Did you see my FB page? We got a new kitten (Heather) and a new rattie (Cody). We had to stop and get more bedding from the pet store and wouldn't you know that had the sweetest little calico up for adoption. Gary payed for her before I even knew what happened. Then we were ooh-ing and ah-ing over this sweet brown and white rat and the shop owner says we can have him for free as long as we promise he wasn't going to be snake food. When Scott looked at me, I shrugged- he has 2 males already in a huge cage, as long as they get along and he feeds them, keeps then clean- what is one more?

The kitten is tooooo cute- gets along with the 2 dogs already. The male cats we have are hissing at her but not too badly. The female we have seems to care less one way or the other. Its actually been an easier and faster transition that we usually have.
The rats also are fine- there were a few times of a sniff/whack/nibble, but now they are all cuddled up together int he little box house Scott made.

So just another day in the life of the crazy-faery....:peace:

Hugs to all of you!!

morning - storms here- still trying to figure out why dh can access net with laptop and router, and I have to do direct plug into the back of my computer- it is a new router- grrrr- busy day at work. last week I told the secretaries to start a wait list for pediatric evals, and by mid day yesterday had 2 on the wait list already- one a 6mos old premie- boss said- can't you at least eval them and give them home ideas- so on top of being super busy, I have to figure out how to make it all work- so many babies not enough time. I stayed at work an hour and a half after close to get yesterdays paperwork done! Today, storms I think

Linda W- For some reason , on my FB page, I keep getting an ad for Honda- some guy has the Honda H shaved into his head. I keep wanted to save the pic for you. But since I haven't seen it and remembered to do that at the same time... I am just going to have to tell you about it LOL

Everyone I know who has seen Toy Story 3 says the same- and to bring tissues.... I hope I'll get to see it before it leaves the theaters. If not, definitely DVD.

And yes- kids are really hot and cranky. No AC either.

Andrea- hugs to ya girl- you are so strong! Yippeeeee on hearing the baby! And feeling him/her too. So exciting! And a huge relief I am sure.

To everyone- come out come out where ever you are!!!

Sounds like a really busy time for you too- but how much fun to have the family and g-kids together Love it!

Laurie- oh wow, that is crazy! It has to be so hard- I know you want to help everyone, but at the same time, there is so little time and resources......And the parents I am sure don't understand, they just want someone to help their baby.
Hope that the storms stay away, and that you can somehow pull more time and energy from somewhere.

Good morning girlies!!!

I have so much to do, but I don't think I will get anything done...Cameran kept me BUSY yesterday!!! He needs a playmate!! which reminds me, I had told yall that I was going to be keeping two of his friends, but that fell through. Their Mom's aunt had to move in with them and the Aunt is going to be keeping them...free of charge!! Cameran was disappointed to say the least!!

Jamie is coming over today (the middle stepdaughter that is getting married next month). We are going to go through her photos, and I am making a cd photo show for her to put up on a screen during the reception.

This reminds me...could someone here please call my DH and tell him to get his butt to the TUX store to get his tux ordered!!?? I have been trying to drag him for weeks!!! I told him on Sunday that if he did not go this coming weekend, he would need to call his daughter and tell her that he was not going to be giving her away in a tux, but his khaki shorts instead!!! MEN!!! UUUGGHHH!!!!

Yesterday, Cameran and I baked a cake, made some sugar free jello with oranges...went out to blow bubbles for awhile and watched Spiderman3. Today, plans were cancelled since Jamie is coming. But he will be okay with that, because she will play with him some while she is here!!

Okay some personals...

Chris...well, at least you did not say Scott appt was BAD.....I hope the new meds work better for him...I wish I could give you some info on the ordering meds....but I don't know anything about these websites myself...I can do some asking though..see what I can find out. Also, Have you called the drug manufacturer??? A lot of them will help out when you can not afford the meds...we had to do that for one of Traci's meds. Because of being on disability for over a year, they switched her from medicaid to medicare and medicare does not cover drugs like medicaid does..so her anti depression meds were not covered (almost $300/mo) so we called the drug mfg. and they helped her out somehow....I will have to ask her the specifics on that too. I mean seriously?? She gets disability (less than $1000/mo) and they take away her drug coverage?? WTH??? so she is suppose to spend $300 for meds?? Our system!!! UUGGHHH!!!
You and your fur babies!!!! The kitten sounds sweet!!!!
Buahhahaha...ad for a honda with an H saved in his head!!!!

Laurie....I swear I would be so nuts by now with that internet!!! What a great person to go above an beyond like you do Laurie!!! Like Chris said, I know that the parents just want someone to help their baby, but if they really knew how hard someone like you is behind the scenes working for them!!! (((HUGS)))

Andrea....WOOOOOT!!! how awesome about feeling/hearing the baby!!!! I know you are excited!! and how sweet about the "alone time at night"!! and yes...I cried at Toy Story!! You just can't help it!!!

Hey O family...sounds like everyone is crazy busy!! I have been unable to sit in front of the computer until now 3:11 pm my time. Busy cleaning up the bedroom, getting everything ready for our new bed to arrive. Took down the old bed, frame and headboard and will wait for hubby to arrive home before attempting to move it down the stairs. Looking forward to our new King Size bed, we have had a Queen for about ten years now and so it's past due I would say. So this was a good opportunity to clean, clean, clean!!! Boy I sure keep some weird stuff??? Out with it all, so good to purge!! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Chris... I wish I could send you a magic cure for all your illness!! Perhaps you should make a trip to Canada to get some cheap drugs?? Don't mean to stir up a can of worms, but really I don't know why the States don't have universal health care? When my daughter got encephilitis and was in the hospital for 2 1/2 months it did not cost us a penny, and now that she is on disability she never pays more than $1 for any meds that she needs. I love the name of your new Kitty...that's my daughter's name.
Laurie....ugh, more storms? Sending some sunshine your way, we finally have some.
Hope your computer troubles are soon fixed!!
Nana Linda...sure hope you get your DH into the tux shop soon, once he is there it only takes a few minutes of his time, but I know what you mean...MEN!!!!!

computer internet is now working-it worked last night, but I couldn't get it to work through the router, turns out just cause it was working for most did not mean the service men would not be coming at 6;30-7 this morning-yup caught on the net in my nightgown- changed quick showed them the problem, they fixed it and moved the antenna off the old tower and attached it to my chimney - much steadier than the tower, especially when we get wind. So work was very stressful today, and I brought all the paperwork home. I need to go get on the treadmill for todays 2 miles, then do paperwork.

hey ladies!! i am missing everything. I hate it. But that is how it goes, I guess, when life is hectic like it is. Today is my actual birthday although we went out last weekend for it. I had a blast for my birthday last weekend and drank a lot although I didn't need any IVs. Yay me. Didn't really even feel much more than tired. Yay water. A friend took me out for Thai for lunch it was way yummy and we even had dessert rice which I had never tried before and it was super good. Mmmmmmm!! I have a horrible headache today and so much to do tomorrow and am hoping to get it all done in the morning before Ethan gets out of school so we can go and play. We'll see. I have to get my house advertised and rented out along with the car sold.

Yesterday was interesting. My mom was on her way down for a BBQ at Ethan's school when a friend of mine called and was freaking out because her mom was going in for surgery for an aneurysm they found because of strokes she'd been having. It was a crazy situation. But she had her son and was hoping I could get him but I couldn't but it worked out that my mom could pick him up so then we just worked it all out and it came together perfectly. I was glad to be able to help her out and help decrease her stress a little.

Anyway, I better run off. I'll chat soon. Ciao.
