GooooOd Morning my Ooooos!
How is everyone today? It rained again yesterday here. And it is pitch dark again this morning. Will NJ ever see the sun???? Cait told me that her gym teacher said that 13 out of the 15 days in June, it rained. We all have wells in our town, so that is good for the water tables, but man.... a little bit of sun/heat would be nice! LOL I just cannot get warm. It is 53* outside right now... crazy!
So have you all checked out Joanne Brisebois Designs is in the Spotlight!! ***June 15-21, 2009*** What a great concept- I loved this challenge. And it was a challenge for me, I had a really hard time putting it all together, but once I was done I was thrilled!
And the other Lo's that have been posted so far are amazing- the meaning behind them gave me chills at times.
Sandra- how did your first day go? I hope it went well and that you have a nice office to work with. and the kids? How did they get off ok? Thinking of you!
Linda W--(I guess we don't need the W anymore, Lindas S and P and been MIA )
Awwww, how awesome for you to have your little guy all summer! I can tell how much your kids and g-kids adore you. I am the same way with my hair- one huge reason I keep it long- so easy to pull it back when it gets ratty  The roots and greys don't look so good, but Oh well! Too bad I don't live near your DD either.
Sara (and Linda) thanks for the reviews on Up. We get the 2 free movies passes from Optimum Online so I like knowing which ones are worth it for the kids. Gary and Scott went to see Drag me to Hell while Cait and I were out -- so not my kind of movie. But HP is coming out next month and that one is a *must see* for me. I wish you could be a Cheery-O for ever too ....
Sally-- I missed you!!!! So happy to hear what a great weekend you had and that you survived your week. YMG is the best!!!!! Carry that song with you always! (Gary wrote a song for me on his guitar, no lyrics before we were married and it always makes me smile when he plays it) What a great message too- yes, you are all so blessed!!!!
Sara and Sally- I am writing down all of your book recommendations- I just finished Sookie Stackhouse #1, and The Grift (really liked it) and now I am reading an older Jodie Picoult, Harvesting the Heart. Not too crazy about it, I dislike one of the characters (I think you are supposed too) but it puts a damper on it for me.
Clara- ((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) my allergies get really bad at times, but nowhere near as bad as yours. I am so happy to hear that you are going to be starting shots soon. You need to feel like yourself again!
Whew- good to hear about DH beingok with reenlisting. He is sooo close, it seems like such a waste to throw allof that time away.
Wish you would move closer to NJ tho....
Ona- Secret Squirrel! LOL! Soooo happy that everything pulled off perfectly! And isn't that the worst part of parites that you feel so busy you don't get a chance to sit down and talk to anyone? Great idea about the BBQ!
Dawn, how is your headache today? Hope it is lots better. LOL about you and Davy- quite a pair
If you need any other pics of kids on beaches, shout out, I am sure I have some.
Tip on Tuesday
Oh crud- I had a really cool PS trick I figured out yesterday. Now I can't remember it! I hate when that happens.
Well, I can give you a tip about roasting garlic in the miocrowave. You can roast a head of garlic in the micro by cutting the top off, drizzle a bit of olive oil and put it in for 1 minute at a time. Don't burn it!! My MIL burned a head of garlic and it smelled so bad- I have tried to clean out her micro now two times- and we still cannot get the smell out.
Have a wonderful day!!
