June?? wow! Time is flying.
It is so nice to finally have some summer weather. Too bad I still don't fit into any of my shorts. :( I had to break down and do some online shopping at Kohl's yesterday. If I somehow miraculously lose these 10 lbs between now and the time I get the shipment in, I can return all of them. Or I can suck it up and accept the fact that these 10 lbs are just not going anywhere....

Andrea- how was your "pick-nick?" Hope not too hot for ya. It was not so bad here. Sunny, hot- 80's. My perfect weather.
What do you want me to make for you w/ the patchouli? Body spray again? Or something else?
I looked on the PA map- Johnston is on the other side of the state from where I was. My mom's house is near Lk Wallenpaupack. I guess the closest big town would be Scranton. Its in the NE corner. Its nice up there. Quiet.
I saw you got flowers from Vince- what a sweetheart!

Clara- nice ride!!! Good luck with finishing up that packing. Wish I could come help too.
If he gets an IEP, the ADA will help. But that won't happen until the summer. But I did email the guidance counselor too. We'll have to wait and see... (something I am not very good at, go figure)

Nana Linda- ROTF! I wish Gary would see that "nagging"
That sounds like some crazy rain- is Cameran's baseball game rescheduled?:D

Hi Laurie- hope that the storms passed and you were able to get your weeding done. not that it is ever *done* but YKWIM!
What a great sentiment about making your home beautiful. ITA

Trudy- hope that you are feeling all better today. "Self induced flu"-I like that!

Sally- good luck with the Etsy shop! Make sure ya link us up :)

Tip On Tues- got nothing ATM- but I'll see what I can think of :)

morning- finishing the laundry and trying to get psyched for work. I am starting the 25 days of summer template class- so that should be fun. My hard drive is full and needing some transfer to the EHD, too many photos- is there such a thing.

Chris- good luck on the 10 pounds- I lost some 2 years ago still have 20 more to go, but seem to be hovering at this spot- I so understand. I got quite a bit of weeding done, over all we had 1" of rain at my house!

man, i had a whole post. I usually ctl-c it in case i lose it, but i was typing too fast!!!

oh well, quick hi!! Shopping today (groceries and craft supplies) and sewing and getting ready for our Homeschooling Open House this Sat. Should be exciting. Cora wrote the most fantastic play about the Revolution, so we gotta practice that! (yep, i'm the granny...teeheee!)

I'm hoping to release two new paper packs on Thursday...still trying to decide if I should whip up elements. What kind of elements do you guys use the most? I keep asking myself, and my answer is ... depends on the element. So my brain is on freeze mode as far as elements are concerned! :) input would really be welcome!! :)

hugs to you girlies this morning!! (it feels like Monday...can you say... FRESH START!!) yipeee!!!

Hello everybody!

We are having some weird weather here in NC. It will be sunny and beautiful outside, then you turn around and it's raining like crazy. Huh. Well, I guess nothing can be done but to make sure you have your umbrella!

Just watched the new Alice in Wonderland, but I found that it didn't hold my interest much. It was visually stunning, tho. The girls watched it for about 20 minutes, and then Genny fell asleep and Atha went in the other room to color. Hahaha! I bet my husband likes it, tho. He's a big movie guy.

The picnic was good. LOOK, that's how you spell it! I don't know what my brain fart was yesterday with the spelling. LOL. Anyway, lots of fun, the park had plenty of shade, and it didn't even rain on us. It did wear me out, tho. I've been feeling lots better, pregnancy wise, but the fatigue is still here.

Chris- Yes, spray, please! That's my fave. I found recently that I'm so used to the concentration of your sprays at this point that when I got some perfume from Avon I didn't know what to do. LOL I ended up using so little of it that I couldn't even smell it. Haha.
I feel for you, I hate clothes shopping, but I've had to do some recently. Blah. I hope you find that you love your clothes so much when you get them that you decide you are fabulous just the way you are!

Laurie- you just reminded me that there are clothes in the dryer! As for too many photos, I've been there. I actually have zipped groups of photos and stored them from time to time to save space. Have fun with your template class!

Sally- Here's what I always need more of: functional but cool fasteners like staples, brads, tape etc. Also, simple but coordinating frames, and something to put in back of photos and clusters like paint smears, glitter splats etc., as well as scatters and spills of beads or glitter or something like that. And I also like leaves, stems, and other foliage.
Oh, and sounds like a fun day to me. I love grocery shopping (I know, I'm weird) and craft shopping, DUH! How awesome is that!
I'm thinking that I need to get to the craft store before too long, because I want to make welcome home shirts for the girls and I. Vince will be home in 2 1/2 months, I can hardly believe it!!!

Okay kids, I am so behind on LO's for Scrap Artist, I really need to make at least one. I also am SO STOKED that my buddy Molly is here and I have an excuse to scrap with some of the awesome Oscraps stuff I've been hoarding and not using lately. HEE HEE!

Andrea- have fun scrapping with your friend!

Sally - stitches- love stitches, and parts of things you can use alone or layer or bits for journaling- frames- too many ideas- oh and masks those are my favs!

Afternoon all... had a busy morning, I am feeling much better today, that self induced flu has finally left me :clap2: So I spent the morning doing my new avatar for Nana Linda's challenge (what fun!!) After a quick lunch I headed to the hairdresser and got my hair cut and colored, it feels so much better!! I have an awesome hairdresser and she cuts my hair perfectly
Chris I hear ya about the weight I am struggling to lose any weight at all (damn menopause!!) It's driving me
Laurie...busy morning for you with :washing: and you get to do the template lessons, I am jelous!!
Sally...nice to see you here again, it has been a while hasn't it? I love elements and I am always looking for frames, glitter splats and paint smears just like Andrea. I also love flowers and twigs.
Andrea... So glad your picnic went well! We are also still having strange weather :rain: one minute and then the sun peeks out for a little while, but at least it's not snowing like it is in Alberta!!
Hope everyone has a great evening

Ugh!! I am in such a bad move now. So, we've been working on this whole vehicle thing. I am so frustrated and stressed right now. I'm not sure if the VW will work out. It looks like they were trying to hide some work that needed to be done. the engine had been steam cleaned but our trusty mechanic found an oil leak anyway. Plus it has a lot of maintenance it needs right off the back. So, don't think it will be working out. Then we got into a huge fight because I told him he has to stop with the window shopping on craigslist if he can't keep it to window shopping. He got all defensive and it didn't go very well. It needed a "Yes, dear" but he does not do that well. So, now we have to decide which car we are selling. My mom pointed out some ideas aabout selling the Trailblazer instead of the Malibu which could be beneficial. We just have to look at the options. Ugh!!

Okay, I am exhausted. I'll come back in a bit hopefully when I'm in a better mood and feeling more chatty.
