Ladies I have some time for you today, it was such a busy weekend. Michaels dads birthday was on sunday, and a little bit stressy, but Amelie and her niece were both so cute, kidding and giggling like best friends, but it was there first time, they were playing with each other.

And on Saturday is Michaels 30th birthday, and we will have barbequue with his family, and many work for me to do, making a cake all the things for barbeque (something is written false at this word sry, dont know what),

So im off now to make lunch and then finish Michaels birthday card.

Wow , seems like we are all running out the door this morning!

Good morning to all of my lovely O-Fam. We are off to the Lyme dr (just me and Gary)
We are leaving the kids home alone. They are old enough, and my friend/neighbor across the stree is around and knows to keep an ear out. So why am I nervous? Will they burn the house down? Nah... will they get into a fight and throw things at each other? perhaps!

I'll be back for personals later on.

Oh, I also have a quick Tip on Tues for you:
You might know this, but I just figured it out last week
If you want to cut the rind off Brie cheese and not lose most of the cheese, you can use a potato peeler. It cuts off the white part perfectly. And then I use the tip of the peeler to scrape down where the ridges get deeper.
Pretty cool!

Good morning ladies. I have a few minutes before my alarm goes off so I thought I'd come say hi real quick this morning. My house is making all sorts of noise this morning. the fire alarm is chirping, the alarm is beeping and Addie's toilet in her room keeps singing, which is why I am currently awake writing to you instead of still sleeping waiting for my alarm to go off.

So, last night I got to work out all my agression on some poor door to door sales person. He was trying to schedule a time to show me how well a kirby works. For one I don't want a kirby. I don't understand having a vaccuum that I would have to finance. That is insane to me. Then second...he rang my doorbell at 9:15 at night. I was in bed watching a movie and my kids were sleeping. Who rings a door bell that late in a family neighborhood. So, I go down to answer my door and he makes several comments about liking our flag out front, then he made a comment about my ratty old Old Navy t-shirt and something about how great Old Navy, Banana Republic and the Gap being one company...blah blah blah! So, I told him he was freaking me out...so he got to his point. Then I told him I couldn;t entertain anybody who rings my doorbell after 9 at night. He tried to reschedule abetter time. He didn't seem to understand my concept...you're an idiot for ringing my bell so late and I want to never see you at my door again...is what I was getting at. He finally went away and we watched Yes Man. Funny movie.

Well, I'd better do some personals real quick so that I can get ready for work.

Cornelia - sounds like a nice busy weekend. I love spending time with my family, even though I am usually tired after the fact. BBQs are always fun. I hope Michael enjoys it and even though you'll be working hard I hope you enjoy it too.

Sandra - Is today your first day?? i hope you have a fantastic day at work. I'm sure it will be a much better experience than your last job.

ME - Thanks for the latte. I hate getting an early start but I hope it means you have a productive day.

LindaS - Happy first day back to work?? That is so depressing playing for so long and then having to work...but after a couple of days that goes away and life is normal again. elcome back.

Chris - Good luck at your doctors appointment. I hope you get some good answers and that they find the treatments are working. If the kids burn down the house you can pack up what's left and move to Cozumel. I can't imagine the heat being bad for you. Then your family would come visit you and see how great it is and move down there too. But if the kids just yell and throw things I hope there are no scrapes or bruises.

LindaW - I've been thinking about you and read your rant about your aunt. I am so sorry that she has to go through that. It sounds unreal. There are so many great doctors why do the idiots have to screw things up so that the great docs have a hard time making it right. I'm glad the doc fired your aunt. I just wish it would have happened sooner. I'll be praying for her and your family. Big Hugs!!

Nick's trip to the toy store the other day was sooo funny he got gobs of toys and it looked like Christmas. He was sitting in our truck surrounded by bags. He is a very happy little boy!

Hello lovely O's! I spent 7 and a half hours on the mower yesterday! The grass was still wet and way too long, but it had to be done!. Today it's misty, overcast and windy. Not sure what my plan is yet for today. Laundry is started and I need to clean the kitchen, so I guess that's where I'll start.
Mr. Wonderful was at work yesterday at one of the quarries working on some electronic scale doo hicky. Anyway - he went into the little outhouse to, uh, relieve himself. So there he stands in the all together and get stung by a wasp in the head right beneath his hard hat! The head on his shoulders ladies He finished up walked out and another wasp flew right into his safety glasses and bounced off. What a way to start a day! He got sweaty and felt tingles up and down his neck and arm. Hope he's not sensitized to the little buggars now!

afternoon, my dear O fam!!! I'm getting life all back together after taking yesterday as a play day...it's only once that your oldest baby turns 15!! you should look at her baby pics on facebook!! soooooo cute!! (if you aren't my friend on facebook, I'm the sally keller that is on the oscraps fb group!)

So I have decided that if I come in here daily and make my list, i get more done!! Do you girlies do that? post what you have to do and then come back to make sure you've finished everything??? LOL!!!

Today, I need to finish picking up for the maids, fold laundry, update the blog and send out my stamping newletter. I need to take cora to fashion design camp around 3. Then tonight, I'm going to a stampin open house and then to band rehearsal. I love band rehearsal. So all day, I'm warming up my voice so i sing right...did I mention i love band rehearsal?

Sooo those are my do-todays. Hope I finish them!! If i stay up late tonight, I'm going to use Hollie's new Queen Bee kit to write a letter to my mom and sister about how I'm totally excited to be with them for 8 days in Alaska starting friday. And how we can just relax and enjoy each other's company and not worry about the menial cares of life!! (I hope we don't antagonize each other!! LOL!!) I think it will be great fun! my guess is that I will stay up late tonight, since I'm trying to train my body for alaska time (3 hours earlier than me! heehee!) so 2am in Houston is only 11pm alaska time...at least that's what I told mr gorgeous last night when i was still up at 1!!!

okay...time to stop procrastinating!! off to the laundry!!

Hi my lOvelies!
I am back from the beach and am waiting for Cait to get out of the shower
it turned out to be a nice-ish day. I was a bit stressed about leaving the kids but it turned out fine. Scott was still in pj's and hadn't eaten b-fast when we got back home at 11:45, but that is typical teenage stuff, right?

Drs appt went good for me- she was thrilled to see improvement- the one new abx is really working well, so I am sticking tight to this regime and keep my fingers crossed.
Gary is going to try this abx too (minocycline) and Flagyl to see if he can breakout of this rut.
We go back in 2 months... and we'll see how we do.

Gotta run, am making shish kabobs on the grill tonight and I need to get the veggies marinating

I think it will be great fun! my guess is that I will stay up late tonight, since I'm trying to train my body for alaska time (3 hours earlier than me! heehee!) so 2am in Houston is only 11pm alaska time...at least that's what I told mr gorgeous last night when i was still up at 1!!!

That's not to mention that there is very little darkness. When I was there in July it never really got dark...just kinda a twilight purpley color. It made going to bed at a decent hour near impossible when it was light by 3AM and not even a little dark until after midnight.
