As I just wrote in the Word thread- this is hard- trying to focus on Joy. Harder than I thought. But I guess that is what makes it work. You are doing great with Discover!

I think I am goign to start cleaning soon for my BFF and she also has 2 freinds who are interested. I love cleaning b/c I can do it at my own pace. If I am feeling good- then I can cruise along. Feeling poor, I can take it easy. No brain power needed, no feeling of letting others down if I am not up to snuff.

CO (Is it Michelle??) That is how it is for me with my dogs. As soon as I sit down at the end of the day, they start the whining. And the one pup is 16, and if she whines to go out, she can't wait. I learned that the hard way- over and over.:fear:

Good morning all... It is Tuesday and my house is very quiet again. I want the noise back!!! It was very busy and noisey here for a couple of days with my grandchildren, it was so sad to say goodbye, but I get to see them again on the 8th of Jan. Horray!!! I have been MIA from here but I know that you all understand that I had to give every minute of my day to my babies!! I am hoping to get some photos on here soon so I can do LO's I just wish I had more time! Off to work again today, yesterday ened up being another all day shift instead of just 5 hrs. Darn... I have so much to do before going on vacation. I will get it done I am sure as hubby has been so great to do a lot of the cleaning for me. Love that man!!

Chris - It is cold and dark here today too!! Ugh! That is great that you are going to start cleaning for your BFF! Hope you get lots of work and that it does not take too much out of you. It is always so nice to see you starting this thread each morning, take good care of you!!

LindaS - It is hard to get back to routine after such a long time off, but it will soon be back on track for you and you will wish you could have another nice long vacation LOL. Hope you get to do some scrapping later tonight. I will try to join you!

Nana Linda - So glad to hear that you mother is doing better, but I wonder what caused it?? Still saying prayers for her and all of your family, hoping that she is soon as good as new! Have a great time with your kiddos today!

Personals from yesterday where I left off...

ME....oh yes...if the boy cries..then the preggo Mom will cry!!!! I am glad he did well when you dropped him off!! I don't blame him though...a week and a half of no kiddos here for me...I wasn't ready yesterday!!! BUT..they were very good to me yesterday :)

MEG!!!!! I am jealous!!! I want a Keurig!!!! I need a new coffee maker anyway...maybe next week that will be my NEW for the NEW 52!! HEHE!!
For now I am just doing a lot of Starbucks!! EVERYONE gave me Starbucks GC's!! YAY!!!! I have nearly $75 worth!!!

Okay....My Mom is doing much better...they moved her to a monitored room last night around midnight. So out of CCU!! I hated not being able to talk to her at all yesterday!!! I was going to the hospital when the kids left, but I was hacking my head off...so I decided to not go. So far, all we know is she has a touch of pneumonia, a kidney and bladder infection and her blood was WAY too thick....which they way they are talking is the reason behind the heart issues. All of her tests for her heart so far are normal. They did some more extensive blood work yesterday, but no results yet. She should be off the dopamine today too, since the blood thinners are doing their job, her heart rate is holding good now. I talked to her on the phone at 7 this morning...she sounded SOOOOOOOOO much better!!!

I want to thank you all so very much for your prayers and postives thoughts for her!!!! You all ROCK and I love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did not do too much for Cameran's birthday yesterday...well, Sharon went to eat lunch with him and took cupcakes to his class...his teacher gave him a homework pass for a gift..HEHE....he gets to turn that in for any night that he decides he does not want to do homework. Sharon said she was wondering if they could use it for a project...bwhahahaha!!!! I did take him for icecream after school too :)
We will go out to eat this weekend to his favorite place and then his party is the first weekend in February...a bowling party...that is what he wants!!

Okay.......................so sit down and hold your jaw cause you are NOT going to believe this one!!!!!! Traci called me about 11 am yesterday and gave the biggest scare of my entire life!!!! She said the school could not find Jesse!!!!!!! He is in a preschool program that is run there at the elementary school, but it not done by the school itself. Well, Jesse did not go to school at all the week before Christmas, but none of them went the last two days due to snow. Well, evidently, when the regular school started back yesteday, the preschool program did not!! NO ONE called Traci to tell her. The School had no idea, the bus driver had no idea...NO ONE was informed that NEEDED TO KNOW!!! The only reason Traci found out was because she had been trying to call his class all morning to talk to the teacher....when she could not get anyone...she called the school office...they said they would send a message to the class...well...when there was no one there, they called Traci back and said there apparently was no preschool....SO WHERE THE H%#L was Jesse?? Traci told them to check the special needs classroom, the class he was in last year....That is where he was...thank goodness!!! But that was a long 10 minute wait to see what happened!!!!! The whole thing was ridiculous!!!! There were way too many mistakes in this situation!!!

Okay...sorry for the book today!!!

Quick check-in! I'll be back for personals after I pay some bills and put the rest of my recent sales in a spreadsheet.
I'm actually stuck in bed for the next twenty minutes, I've got both Jeff an Riley snuggled up against me for warmth.
Today I put two of my kits on sale for two dollars, and hooray!!! That's caused people to buy some of my other kits too!!! My sales have improved a lot since switching shops, I'm still looking for another one where I can sell non exclusive stuff. But, of course I'm being picky about which shop.

So, I bought the Bollywood Dance add on class to my fitness game... Ugh total crap!!! It's all crazy arm movements and they don't really teach them before you start the class. So, i stuck to cardio boxing last night. Today we're power walking two miles with Riley and then doing two cardio boxing classes together. someone come eat all of our Russian tea cakes please, because all this working out will be for nothing if those are still around!!!!

Good morning ladies...oooh, guess it is afternoon now. Today I am getting Ethan ready for his trip to Washington. He is sooooooooo excited. While he is gone I will be getting him ready to go back to school. Eeeek!! It will be interesting. My mom will be bringing him back and I will actually start him while my mom is here. It was her idea. then we can all go out afterward and get into the routine while she is here. I think it is a good idea. Plus then she'll be here with Addie and stuff to spend some special alone time with her. And maybe I'll get some alone time even, or we'll spend some girl time. Hmmmm...either way sounds good to me.

Today we were supposed to get our heating fixed but it doesn't look like that is happening. The heating people came out but they didn't fix the heat. Apparently our downstairs heat is set up to gas and the upstairs is set up to a heat pump. Is this normal? I have no idea. I've never had a heat pump. It sounds weird to me. Anyway, the wiring upstairs was set up for gas so the thermostat was not working. So we have no actual heat upstairs. We've been overheating the downstairs to heat the upstairs but then the downstairs is too hot. Hopefully it gets worked out soon. This is why I actually prefer renting over owning. Which reminds me...maybe some good news. We have some potential renters from Hawaii. They want our house. Whoohoo!! I hate looking for renters. It is so stressful. They are filling out the forms and we are working out some deals with them for payment since they won't be here right away. I am just hoping for as little lag time as possible. Fingers are crossed.

Oh, Addie started dance classes last night. She loved it. I put her in the older class in hopes that she would be able to keep up and she amazingly did great. So, that's where we will be keeping her. I'm excited and so was she.

Okay, I am getting sleepy. I have been really sleepy a lot lately. I am worried about my EBV again but without a regular doctor and all the issues with that, well, I'm pretending it is a non-issue. I need to finish getting Ethan packed.

Alright how about those personals I promised and didn't get to the other day...

Chris - I am trying to send you some sunshine. Maybe Ona and Helen can bottle up some of theirs for us and send it this way. But the Winter Solstice has happened so remember the days are getting longer now. There is something to be joyful about when it is gloomy...at least the day was a few seconds longer than yesterday and tomorrow with be even longer and just a little closer to spring.

LindaS - I am having a hard time getting into the swing of things too. This sickness is hitting me hard and making it even harder.

Trudy - I've missed you too and I even sent you a PM just a little bit ago. I hope you get to those grandbabies soon. I know my parents are hating being away from my kids too. If only you were just a little closer you could totally comiserate.

NanaLinda - HOLY CRAP!!! They lost Jesse!!!! I would be freaking out!!! I can't believe that. I'm glad it all worked out but still. How crazy and how great that Tracy knew exactly where he would be and there he was. I'm glad your mom is improving. I've been praying and am glad her care has been stepped down to not so intensive. I hope you are able to go see her soon. Big hugs.

Katrina - Yay for the Nikon. You're gonna love it. I have just started thinking I want a new lens for mine. Make sure you start drooling over Sally's straps. That strap that comes with it gets pretty itchy.

Meg - How awesome about the added sales because of your specials. Rock on. Oh, I got Netflix finally set up on my Wii. Well, Derek set it up with my guidance. Yay!!! So proud of us. Oh, and I'll take those tea cakes. The are my fave at Christmas.

Sally - I just love you and need some of your energy. I'm about to crash. Hugs and love to you!!

Hellllllloooooooooooo, I'm back again. I don't know where I've been, things just got a little crazy again. Now I'm stuck at home waiting for this baby to come out I've realized how much I've neglected my scrapping duties again. I have missed you guys so much though! How is everyone?

Hmmppphhhh no work out yet, it was torture getting the two of them out of bed. Both growled at me!!! And Riley never growls!! HAHA!

After I got some coffee into Jeff, we had a rough time trying to pay my student loan payment. My account was locked because I have a different phone number and email address than FOUR YEARS AGO. The phone support guy kept spelling my last name wrong... adding all kinds of random letters... so I told him "It's Batman with an E in the middle." and that worked!

So far today I've applied for Ashalee's new shop CT, gone out to lunch with Jeff, bought more wine, failed at finding a new purse (Jeff kept picking out D&B purses LOL, uhm not in our budget!) and am being used by Riley for warmth again... this time she's between my head and the chair... on my shoulders.

Chris -- I've got Joy Joy Joy Joy down in my heart, YES! Down in my Heart!!!! I've got Joy Joy Joy.... haha, that's pretty much the song! I believe it's a children's sunday school song.

Linda -- I hope you're able to easily get back into the swing of things!

Trudy -- the 8th will be here before you know it!!!! I'm so excited that you're getting all this time with your family, your vacation is going to be amazing!

I've been fantastic!!! I'll be around for awhile this time. I will be a stay at home mom for at least the first 2 or 3 months so I'm pretty excited to get that bonding time with the little one. She is being stubborn though, she wont come out!! I started having contractions Nov 11 & they haven't stopped but I wont dilate so I don't know whats going on with her in there. She's HUGE though so as soon as I see her, you all will too! =]
