I hurt all over. Every joints, but especially my hip and thumbs. (I know-- really odd combo, eh?? LOL) We are getting snow tonight into tomorrow so I hope its just the weather and not anything more.
Scott's feeling sick, I hope it is not the flu for him. ATM, it looks like a bad cold.

Today Gary and I are both off to see the lyme dr. Not looking forward to that at all. Its going to be a loooong day. I am kinda wishing that I could stay in bed today  Maybe if it does snow tomorrow I can sleep in a bit. Then I am going to have to get out and go food shopping or we will have no food for the rest of the week. I guess that is a good way to save some money.

I tried a new vegetarian recipe last night- potato and spinach frittata. Fritatta? Nope, I think the first way was right... Anyway, it went over very well, so I am going to look for some more frittata recipes.

Not much else going on here, hope everything is going great for you!

hey Nana! How did you do getting through the day yesterday? Were you able to squeeze in a nap?
Hope you slept super good last night. Does Mike get up with the kids at all or is he the "typical" man who can sleep through a herd of babies crying?

Nana and Ona- don't open that bottle without me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laurie- how did your eye exam go? Thankfully, my eyes are healthy even though my Rx is getting stronger and stronger. And the need for bifocal lenses is getting harder to push off. Can't afford them right now, but maybe by the next time my Rx needs to be renewed I can get them again. For now, I am sticking to my dollar store readers over my contacts.

Ona- hope that you and the rest of my Aussie friends can stay cool and safe. What a nutty heat wave!

Phyllis- These aches and pains have to be due to the weather shift right? Right?? Which means they will go away soon, right???? :hurt:
I hope that they get better for you soon b/c I can't imagine sleeping in a recliner very often either. :(
Yeah, ITA about Walmart. In a perfect world I could shop local, both in budgetary means and in philosophical means. But ATM, the money isn't in my wallet and the stores don't exist in my town. My town is mostly part of the NJ Highlands Act which means its all watershed. We have a few businesses-- one small clothing store, a small pet store then its all pizza, liquor stores and banks
I did get out of Walmart under $10 but that might have been b/c I could see anything!

Also-- there is a Rx for drops for dry eyes that you can use with contacts. I can't remember the name since my insurance didn't cover it. (I know!! Really, how crazy is that???? /snark ) But you should ask your dr. I think it began with a P. That helps, does it?? LOL

Hugs to you Nana and good luck and healthy corneas!

Trudy- how are you feeling today?? Sending out huge bowls of chicken soup to you and all of the sickies!!

Terry- all I can say after reading your post is "men" hahah!! Hope that your men and cars and backs are all better today.

nancy- good for you doing that yoga! I used to use that DVD (Rodney Yee, IIRC?) and it felt so good! I should really get out my mat again and just stretch on occasion. Too lazy.
OMG_ the fog has been so bad! DId you hear about the couple that got lost on Clinton Rd on Sunday?
(Clinton Rd is a "haunted road" in my town and people drive up on weekends a lot to creep themselves out. The road is about 5-6 miles long and has no lights and it is creepy but I haven't ever seen anything weird, other than myself....;0)
Anyway, they got out of the car to hile and then the fog was so bad they couldn't find their way back to the road. Our police dept must shake their heads every time they get a call out there.

I do have to admit, its not a place I would like to get lost in fog at all.

Heather- so good to hear that you are feelign better!!

lOve the O!
Morning O fam- and Ona it is lovely to "see" you in the dailies! My eye appt went well- pressure is the same, left optic nerve is okay but right is better (inside my head I went didn't know my optic nerves were not both okay) and he suggested an ointment like the artificial tears for my right eye at night so perhaps it will open as easily as my left in the am's. Also told me that drinking enough water had nothing to do with dry eyes- well okay I am still going to drink water. I had slightly more energy when I got home last night, but not as much as I did a month or two ago. Just finished my workout and now to get ready for work.

Howdy. i spent all night in the recliner and actuall did sleep well. it added up to EIGHT hours of sleep!! Chris, no it's not fibro pain that's causing the trouble. about 3 months ago i rolled over in bed and got this tremendous pain in my side. i have no idea what it was. now i can't sleep on that side or roll over to that side or sometimes even MOVE toward that direction when i'm lying in bed without that pain happening. freaking WEIRD. annoying. but when i sleep in the recliner, i can find a position where i can sleep, i'm comfortable and i don't have to move around. so, hey. i'm going with the recliner for now. the irony of this is that we got a wonderful new mattress about a year ago. i was loving it! now i'm sleeping in a recliner.... Chris, i hope you feel better, once the weather settles down. we're supposed to get snow and freezing rain tonight. ick!!

hope everyone has a great day. i think mine is going to include a few errands and some dress shirt ironing. thrilling! :???:

Hey everyone... feeling slightly better today, got sent home at 1pm yesterday, guess they couldn't stand my coughing anymore and I really did feel crappy!! Just a short 4hrs today then home so I should be able to do that. Two days off after today with no MG, it will be bliss!! I just hope that I don't have to deal with this cough much longer, its driving me crazy!! :loco:

Chris - Sorry that you are hurting so much! Hopefully its just the change in weather and not anything else! Hope that your son is not getting the flu, boy it sure is hitting everywhere hard this year!!

Hi Ona , glad to hear that you are getting a break from the heat at last! Nice to see you here in the morning. Have a great sleep, back to work soon Ughhh! Why can't we all just be wealthy and not work?? :becky:

Laurie - glad that your eyes are doing well, keep drinking plenty of water, its always good for you! Have a great day at work!

Phylis - Wow 8 hrs of sleep and in the recliner?? Well whatever works right? I went to bed last night all doped up with NyQuil at 8:30 last night and slept until 5:15am. I couldn't believe I slept that long, only woke up once because I must have been snoring and hubby told me to turn over on my other side (opps, sorry!!) Guess thats why I am feeling a bit better today.

Well off to get some breakfast and get this short shift over with. Hopefully I feel good enough to either get some scrapping done or get some cleaning done that never got done this weekend. Hmmmmm, cleaning or scrapping??? What should I choose :becky:

Have a creative day everyone!!

~very gentle hugs~ Chris I am sorry it's so painful for you. I am not sure why, but you know I was complaining a while back about my arthritis and how much my shoulders and arms hurt..especially with the weather...since the Doc put me on Welbutrin (added to my Lexapro) to help with the depression...I sleep so well and I don't hurt anymore...AT ALL...I had lost about half my range of motion in my left arm...could not even pull a shirt off over my head with that arm...had to reach over with my right arm and take it off my left arm. Not sure if it would help you...but maybe the doc could do some trial and error to see if something would work for you.

Oh and Ona and I would not think of opening the bottle without you (ppppssssstt...Ona..put that top back on QUICK :becky:)

Good Night Ona.....enjoy the last day and night of time off....you really should have escaped over here with us!!

Laurie...my Dad has to use a box full of different ointments and drops every morning and night for his transplants....I know it's a pain...but use it if it helps...eyesight is nothing to take for granted and always listen to the doc!! You are my workout hero sweetie...wish I had that energy to get up and do it everyday!!! I am a "blurb" or "blob"...just can't do it!!

Phylis....I sleep in the recliner sometimes too....I DID FOR 4 HOURS YESTERDAY!!! Oh...yeah Chris...I got a a long nap yesterday...I just don't care about the other stuff anymore....gotta sleep!!!!!!!!! P...sounds like you injured something in your side...Maybe it's the partial upright position that helps you sleep...you might need one of those adjustable mattress beds.

Okay...I want to scrap today....hope I can...but I have a lot of work to do!! We shall see...

good morning ladies!

Well--hubby went to the chiropractor yesterday. Was supposed to take off work today and go back to the chiropractor. Instead he went to work and is going to try and go to the chiro after work. Should have stayed home and rested the back. Oh well. Can't tell men anything.

Had my kids car towed yesterday. The repair guy can't get to it until maybe Friday. The kid is going nuts with no car. He's driving me nuts too!

Remember my niece--well pray for her. She's having some real trouble and is now in the hospital to hopefully get her meds under control.

I was in heaven last night--got to scrap!

Have a great Tuesday.

WOW it is late but I was up early and out the door. I bought my car from the dealership where my son works but it is a real drive north. Today it had to go to the shop to replace the weather stripping around the back door. Well that meant being up by 6am and driving with all the other drivers that hit the parkway during morning rush hour. What was I thinking? Turns out they ordered the wrong part and I will have to go back next week LOL. But the nice part is I get to see my son and we can chat for a few minutes. And the dealership washes my car! Then off to Staples for ink and recycling the old cartridges and finally to Walmart for a mini food processor. Now I am back home. I must say I dont think I could ever go back to fighting rush hour traffic.

Chris feel better.

Hope all the rest of you ladies keep getting better!

:hurt:

Its not the weather. I hurt cuz I am flaring again :(
Lots of symptoms, lots of blood drawn. The dr laughed at me and said that I am in denial that this is just weather-related.
