I can't believe- the last day of August. Two more days and my kids go back to school. Summers just seem to go faster and faster!
Cait is up and heading into the shower, she has her Middle School Orientation today! Noooo!!!

I haven't been in here for a couple of days. I have been running non-stop and that has taken its toll on me. I feel so sick. But hopefully the coffee will help me get moving this mornings.

I am going to check out the other threads that i have missed and I'll be back to catch up on personals too :)

I just read over the weekend Oo's- sounds like everyone had a great weekend. We did too- saw old friends which was great, but this old body cannot do back to back parties. Even though I didn't have ,more that a couple of beers each day, I feel like a train wreck too.

Andrea and Clara- i am so thrilled that you 2 are having fun together!

Krista- isn't the beach totally rejuvenating?

Laurie- was the re-entry to work ok? Hope you were able to get to scrap last night. That would have at least been a good ending to the day. Bet you were tired!

Oh Linda S- that stinks! At least it is under warranty. Usually those things happen to me right after the warranty expires.

Nana Linda- hahah! I didn't even bother trying to be excited about Monday! How did you do?

Clara- one more day for the house! YOu must be thrilled!! How was Ethans b-day?? Sorry to hear about mom- you know you can always vent here.


Krista- good to hear the kids did ok with the shots. Hope D is feeling better. How old is she now? (Can I just say I do not envy you and esp Peter having all of those girls in the house in 10 years!!!!)

Hey Meg- I loved your "train wreck" description! Hope you are looking good today :p
I love my tablet, hope you can find one!

Running in quickly AGAIN!! I have a HOUSE FULL of kids today!!! I have yet to figure out HOW I am going to get Cameran....I don't have room to get them all in the car :noidea: I still have about 3 or 4 hours to figure it out.

I am really counting down to Friday this week already...that MONDAY thing...yeah...did not work out so well for me!! HAHAHA!!! I am ready for some PEACE AND QUIET TIME!! Since I never got any this past weekend!!

Good Morning all of my favorite "O" family... It's :rain: today, we haven't had a good rain in such a long time. We were so busy outside tidying up the garden and yard, that I did not get to spend any time here yesterday :sad: Hoping to get some scrapping in today, after washing the floors, Yuk!
Nana Linda - do you have a neighbour that could watch the kids while you go get Cameran? Wish I could help you out :hug:
Chris - I hope the coffee makes you feel a bit better, but you sound like you could use a good rest!

Home from work!! WOOT!! :peace: It's too dang hot here again today .... 31C feels like 38C or 88F feels like 100F .... ugh add that to the heat of the kitchen TOO Much for this chicka!! :fish:

On a cool note .... not sure how many of you have checked out my signature lately .... but I have AN addition ;) hehehhehe ..... can you figure out which one??? SO excited to get started :)

Soccer practice tonight for Nellie ... poor little bug .... she's gonna roast .... and then it's straight scrapping for the Momma ;)
 
DON"T PANIC ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHA!!! Cameran was picked up ON TIME!!! His Mom had to take off a couple of hours early!!
 
Hey ladies!! I am just popping in real quick because I have about an hour all to myself and as much as I love you all I do not want to spend the entire time in here but I did want to say hi. The family just ran off to the house since it is now officially ours. Yay!!! 2 more nights in the camper since we don't have beds yet and then we live in a real house. Whoohoo!! Camper living is soooooooo not my thing and if I ever think it is a good idea to live in a camper for a short period of time while we get things figured out, somebody slap me!! It really wasn't that bad, but it has been really hard on the kids not being settled someplace and having an area that is their own.

I do have a funny story, well, funny to me, not so much to Derek. We had the biggest miscommunication today. For some reason he thought he would meet us at the house. I'm not sure why since we had nothing to go into it, but he did. After I talked to him I thought we were meeting back at Dave's but he thought we were meeting at the house, but he didn't have keys so he sat on the porch in really hot weather for nearly 2 hours waiting for me to not get there. I felt really bad, but it was kinda funny. He was not thrilled but eventually did find it funny. Poor guy.

Anyway...

Chris - slow down lady!! Sorry the summer is about over. I know how much you hate that. I hope the transition back to school goes well for the kids.

Krista - I hate the heat too. Congrats on the new CT gig...I would have to guess Biograffiti, but not sure. She is awesome. I would love to be on her team. I might have to bug her a little bit once I get back into the swing of things, because she is AWESOME!!!

Linda - I'm glad the Cameran thing got all worked out. Us grown children are sooooo needy. I know it. LOL!! I'm glad Sharon figured it out and you didn't have to get super stressed over it. I hope you find that quiet time somewhere. You deserve it. We'll be planning that girl time in Greensboro soon!!!

Trudy - you hush about that rain. I know how long it took for it to go away this summer. It rained almost right up until we left Washington in July.

Okay, I am off. Gots to go be alone. Still not sure what to do with myself yet. I remember one time I had 36 hours all to myself and a friend of mine wanted me to go to some concert or something and I wouldn't go and she just couldn't understand why I would prefer to just stay at home and do nothing. Having nothing to do for 1 weekend every few years is just pure bliss. I think I left the house to go to church and that was it. It was amazing. I dn't know what to do with an hour though. Hmmm...
 
Hi girls! Quick one from me. Sydney has finished soccer practice. Done math with Shaun. Had supper. Shaun's shower done. Getting ready to do Sydney's shower. Then reading for both and spelling practice for Sydney.

WooHoo...school has begun!!!
