Happy Tues! How are all of my lovely ladies doing?
I am tired and in a really cruddy mood No need to spread it along so I will make this short and sweet!

I am going to try to get some packing done, hope that I am working today and then maybe we'll be off this afternoon.

good morning... I actually have time to pop in before work... Matthew's not running a temp this morning, so I guess I'll send him to daycare... its against my better judgment because with his immune system already overloaded with germy things, I really don't want to...

anyway, school starts tomorrow, and so this evening will be busy so didn't know if I'd have time to pop in...

Chris - sorry you're in a cruddy mood *hugs* hope it gets better!

Chris....sweetie....I know exactly what kind of funk you are in!!! I am about half way there myself!! ((((HUGS)))). Just don't worry about the usualy stuff...and go have yourself a RELAXING TIME!! being away will do you a world of good....getting away from stuff helps relax the mind!

Sandra....sweetie...wish you lived closer to me...I would tell you to bring him to me....so he would not chance getting anything else!! (((HUGS))) for you both!!!

and now to make you laugh...yep, I'm cleaning for the maids again...computer-style! AND I think we have vocal lessons, which is good since our recital is Sat night! yikes!
and what else? errands, dropping off stamp stuff, grocery store, letting my sils dog out at noon and on and on....Smilin' yet? You know I'm wearing everyone out today just with my do-todays! :)

Chris, have a frappucino on me!! just to pick up your spirits! and hopefully you get to leave today for your "redneck" vacation....wish i were going with you!! sounds wonderful!! :)

Sandra, SCHOOL???? omgosh...it's only the 12th tomorrow!!! i hope they got out mid-May!! Enjoy all the fun school preparations! and praying a hedge of protection over sweet Matthew so he doesn't get sick again!! :) hugs!

Hey ladies!!

That stinks that so much funk is going around...I've had some of it to. So...this weekend was awesome. I had 36 hours to myself. I scrapped, went and saw a movie, watched whatever I wanted on tv...nothing was on the food network or discovery (the weird Julie Stiles movie was Carolina). Then yesterday I picked up my kids and my mom took us out to lunch at a Mongolian grill. It was great. I knew Ethan would be exhausted and so we all took a long long nap and were still able to sleep last night. it was awesome. I have been sotired lately. between having strange dreams and all the sleep I would think I was pregnant if I didn't know any better...but I do and I'm not. I went grocery shopping last night with the whole family. It was an interesting experience. I had a budget which I brought in cash and it was so close...but we made it. I cannot wait for budgeting to be second nature to me.

So, today i have a meeting at my church about a ministry I am probably going to start leading. The person in charge of it is stepping down and I will be taking over. It is called Helping Hands and I will be providing people with some extra help...whether it is some extra help mowing their yard or a meal or two. I will be doing the coordinating. I'm excited about it and have some great ideas. I do need to figure out how to get the church some freezers. They have the space for a walk in freezer but it ended up not being in their building budget, so I think we can just fill the freezer space with smaller freezers instead. We'll see how it goes.

So, that is my day...

Chris - I am sorry you are in such a funk. I hope it blows away and you are able to leave it on the side of the road as you head off for vacation. Where are you going? I hope you have a blast on your trip.

Linda - you in a funk?? I can't imagine it. It sounds like you might be getting sick...well, if you have a little one today maybe you can nap with them...if not than take a nap all by yourself. I love napping.

Sandra - Poor Matthew. I hope he stays healthy and well. Hopefully his body will be too busy getting rid of the yuck it will forget to get other stuff. Big hugs for him and mamma.

Sally - I clean to have my house cleaned to. I would hate to have her spend time straightening when there are so many other things that could be done...plus I don't want her to see what a complete slob that I am. Well, I hope you enjoy your busy busy day. Very brave of you to let the maids clean your room. My door stays shut when ours is here.

Sandra - Oh my! School starting already! We actually don't start til the 24th. Or is this for you for college courses? Just thought of that....know those usually start earlier. Either way.....Good Luck. I know school starting = getting back into a routine and that is always a struggle!

Clara - I am so jealous of your 36 hours of bliss! Yay for that! Glad you got that time and enjoyed yourself. It is always good to get some alone time. I typically only get about 10 hours alone at the most sporatically this summer. But, it is still nice and once school starts up again....I have 8 hours of alone time everyday! Yay!!!! Good Luck with your ministry. That sounds so nice and like a great opportunity for you!

I will pop in again tomorrow girls. Had to get myself on a routine with this digi stuff....it was taking over my life. So, I will usually not be around on Tues/Thurs so I can take care of the "non" exciting things like housework, bills, my real job, etc.

Just stopping in to say hi. How are you all doing?

This has been kind of a rough week. Our dog has not been doing well at all, and I think we will be putting sweet Simon down this week. I am so sad about this, and it breaks my heart, but we have decided it's time. He's 14, and he has had so many health problems. It's not getting better. And I am still looking into how to tell Christian this. Ugh ... am not looking forward to this at all.

Hey everybody. Just thought I'd pop in and say hi. The medication they have me on is really putting me through the ringer, but Vince got to be home most of the day to take care of me, so that's awesome. He even went out and picked up some sushi for me. What a fella!

Clara-our church has a ministry like that. It's called Feed the Need and mostly it does meals, but they do other stuff as well. Other small groups also step in and do meals etc. That's a really great thing you are doing, means so much to people.

Mary Ellen-SOO sorry to hear about your sweet doggie. That's so sad...

Everybody else- {{{{{{HUGGGS}}}}}} I think tomorrow is going to be a MUCH better day for all of us.

Nothing exciting happening down here, its Wednesday morning and I have a big meeting today and then I am training all day tomorrow which I haven't really prepared for so I guess I will be doing that as well!! Lots of love to everyone, you are all wonderful people and I think its necessary to get into the occassional funk now and then!! we can't be happy and upbeat ALL of the time!!! nighty night xo :)
 
Good evening all :)

I'll get my sad news out of the way first. My previous preacher died Sunday, he had just entered Hospice care and was a patient of the dr I work for so I got to see him a lot, he had been sick for awhile with cancer...how I hate cancer. My family and his have known each other forever...I have always had a major crush on his youngest son LOL. As much as I know he's better off now I'm still sad over it :(.

Sorry to know that there is so much funkiness going around! I've been that way myself lately due to $$ but things are going to start looking up now! Now I have my cholesterol and platelets to worry about, had my yearly blood work this week and my cholesterol is way out of control, I see a new pill and a diet/exercise in my extreme near future ;). My platelets are high for some reason...my physical is Thursday so I'll wait and see what my dr says.

Chris-I hope you had a decent day. Did you get packed?

Clara-Cool on you taking on that huge responsibility for church. I hope your DH doesn't give you a hard time over it. Perhaps to raise some money a car wash or bake sale? Those always seem to do good around here :).

LindaW-((((hugs)))) sorry about your funk, hope you are doing better this evening. Too bad you can't run a daycare online, you could watch everyone's kids and my Davy, too LOL.

Sandra-hope you had a good day, hopefully everything will be back to normal for you soon and no more sick kids!

ME-I am soooo sorry about Simon :(. I hope things go as well as they can with telling Christian, I know how sad that can be for a child, I don't handle it very well myself still.

NeeNee-Hi there, I wish I had the self discipline to put myself on a routine such as yours....but I just can't LOL...I always have to do something "for just a minute" and then before I know it the time has flown by.

Sally-LOL about you cleaning before the maid comes...I think a lot of people do that. I cleaned house for a family when I was in CMA school to make some money for gas and OMGosh they were the nastiest people, overflowing ashtrays, husband and grown son sitting around all day in bathrobes, beer cans all over, etc,etc...not to mention the nasty bathrooms.. and the lady of the house is an RN! Now I see these people as patients at work and all I can think about is their nasty, dirty house, ugh.

Hi Kat! I'm jealous of your pool right now...it's soooo hot here this week
after our mild July I was hoping Summer had forgotten us but no such luck LOL.
