GoooooOd morning!
This is goign to be super-quick since I am late. But this time it wasn't b/c I lost track of time. Scott and a couple of his friends want to raise money for the girl who was in the car accident. Apparently she is pretty messed up, broken bones and internal injuries. But she is alive and expected to stay that way, so that is great news. (She was wearing her seat belt, and the boy who died allegedly was not, so don't mind my preaching, but make sure you wear your seat belts!) At any rate, the kids want to do a fundraiser/donation- selling candy, and he wanted to walk over to A&P. Its less than a mile away, but it was 6 am and pitch dark. So I drove him over. He's a good kid.

I am hoping to get back for personals. MYy dad is coming up to help me paint, cait has a dr's appt after school, then a quick dinner and off to gymnastics.
So if I don't make it back- know thatI am sending happy day thoughts to all of you!
 
Wow Chris you are up and at em really early this morning!! Good thing that you go to bed at 9:00pm ;). Hope your son and his friends raise lots of money for that poor girl!! Sounds like it will be a long road a head of her!! I am sure that her parents are just thankful that she will be alright!! And yes everyone, WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS!! they do save lives!! Ok I will step down from my soapbox now too. Off to work again today, but just a short shift thank goodness, my dogs were barking yesterday by the time I got home :frown:. But hubby had my dinner all ready and then drew me a nice hot bath with a glass of wine. (I love that man!!) Hope that everyone has a great Tuesday and I will try to get back here later this afternoon. Gotta run :bolt:. :wave:

I am hating that I finding less time to come here everyday!!! I love you all too and want to spread some love for you!!!!!!

We had 83 degrees here yesterday!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!! it was gorgeous....Mike came back home from work and took the day off...we only had Savannah so we ran a couple of errands and then he washed both vehicles....now today..............another story. We had horrible thunderstorms in the middle of the night last night. It thundered so hard my bed was shaking!!!!! Not really the kind of shaking of the bed I care for :biggrin1: ooops....I didn't say that!!!

anyway....today...the wind is still blowing like crazy..our power had cut out twice now...and there must be some downed trees across the road because the electric company and the company they hire out to cut trees were here....5 huge trucks for about two hours earlier!!!! the high today is 52!!!!

Okay...I am out of here....LOVE TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Massive migraine this morning, it set in around midnight last night so both of us didn't get much sleep... I kept tossing and turning.

Hopefully last Dr's appointment for my grandpa this morning -- the results of his pulmonary testing. Hoping and praying everything is just a case of asthma that wasn't treated right. And hopefully they know why he retained water.
 
Hello! Today I am making wedding calls trying to set a venue for my sister's wedding. I am still really frustrated with my mom and since she will be here tomorrow I need to get that to go away. I just hate that she has the "My way is the only way" attitude and that cheap is acceptable to her...not inexpensive but cheap. My sister won't even have a photographer...and my mom thinks we will be able to find someone to come for an hour for the actual wedding. Not in the middle of summer. That is prime wedding season. I am just really frustrated. She has the money to be able to give my sister a decent wedding but is making her cut costs because she doesn't believe in lavish weddings. I'm making the invitations, so that cost is gone. but she just...ugh!! I am just mad at her. Plus in her mind she thought there would be leftover so that my sis could pay for some legal issues they will have after the wedding. There is no way. I think my sister is going to have to come up with some extra money. My sister doesn't need a big lavish thing but a little lee-way would be nice. Lots of head butting coming on. If anybody has some suggestions on cutting costs for a wedding please let me know. I would appreciate it.

Chris - Scott is so awesome. I hope he is able to raise some decent money for the girl. Good mama not letting him walk in the dark. Silly boy. Have fun painting.

Trudy - My hubby made my dinner last night too. Don't you just love that? I hope you have a great shift today.

Linda - we had that same storm and they had tornado warnings north of us. Today is nice though now that the storm has passed. I do miss you in here...but I know my time has been cut down also and it just stinks that RL gets in the way of our play time.

Meg - sending prayers for your grandpa. Keep us posted. I hope the migraine goes away quickly!!
 
here kinda...haven't been doing much cept gardening again!!!! UGH TO CLAY DIRT!! its so hard to till up and get ready to plant...ohhh well!! i did go out and buy actual garden soil to mix in there as well so things will be a bit better for me i hope LOL
