Daily Ooo's: Tuesday April 26

Happy Tuesday!
Today is my niece's birthday. I wish I could remember how old she is. I think its 10. Everything gets so jumbled up in my mind! No... you know what.. she is going to be 11. My nephew's b-day is next week. he is 2 years younger than my niece who is 13. Yup. 11.
Good thing I didn't get a b-day card with the age on it!

Today is supposed to get hot! Finally!!!!!! Might even get near 80. Yesterday got up to 77* -- even tho I can't do any gardening, I am thinking about bringing a book outside and getting some sunshine.

The kids did great at the School Fair last night- made another $43- put them over $200!

Tip on Tuesday? Got nothing ATM, but I;ll keep my mind open!

From yesterday- oh you are all totally invited to my mom's!!!
She is like a wonder-woman in the kitchen!!! And like any good Italian mom- the more the merrier!

Eva- can we make a deal? When you come to my mom's, will you bring Swedish meatballs? My Swedish friend makes delish meatballs. I make them from a packet of powder. eeeeew!

Suzy- how do you get to your moms? 78? Hope not, that highway makes the Parkway look like a pleasure trip. That is so nice about having all of the kids together. G-kids on my side are just my two. Gary's side is 2 girls, 11 and 8. The niece and nephew I was talking about before are my BFF's kids so even though they are family, they are not technically blood.
Congrats on the new computer! Wow- you are like MMG- when you shop for new tech, you go all out LOL

Clara- how did you all do bowling? Hope you had fun!!

Trudy- hope that the sun comes out for you today! How are the new shoes? I have to say, i swear by my Sketcher Shape Ups. I doubt that they do a darn thing for toning my butt, but they really seem to help my posture and my back from hurting.

Morning Chris... The sun is out this morning, thanks for sending it this way! I am off to work an early shift and not home until after 4:00. Ugh:frown:
I do have a pair of sketcher shape ups and I love them too!! But I find that they are very warm by the end of my day. My new Nike Airs are very much cooler, but my back is already feeling the difference, so I guess I will have to switch off between the two pairs of shoes during the day. :noidea: Well better go and get ready for work. trudy- I have a pair of the sketcher tone up flip flops- and I have a pair of winter clogs by them (all thanks to my super-generous mom!!) and I am breaking out the flip flops today (I have to do something with my extremely winter-ick feet first!)

Hey ladies!!

I've been up for about an hour and my head is already spinning. Addie woke up on the wrong side of the bed and I am ready to hang her by her toes. She's doing a bit better after spending some time in her room. Then Ethan is in major tattle tale mode and is doing this whine yelling at Addie which makes me not care about what Addie is doing and want to hang him by his toes. Ugh!! The weather has been really nice but too hot and I'm guessing that it is a preview of things to come and a REALLY hot summer. It was 110 when we got here last year. Yuck!! When we met Nana at the beach the water wasn't even refreshing it was so warm. Maybe we'll head out there to Myrtle Beach at the end of June. Hmmmmm...Otherwise maybe waiting until September.

Bowling yesterday was fun. Ethan kicked our butt and then Derek won the next game. The kids both had bumpers so no gutter balls for them. We had horrible bowling neighbors. They kept using our balls. We went and got balls we wanted and then they kept using them. Ugh!! Bad bowling ettiquette. Oh bowling reminds me of a funny-ish story. Well, funny for me, not to the person affected. So in Italy the Italians love to protest. So, they had a protest scheduled for something and Derek was on duty. He sat in a tower where he could see all the protestors. So, he saw a guy carrying a bowling bag. he had never seen a bowling alley in Italy and thought he looked strange so he put in a call and the MPs took the guy down, x-rayed his bags which were full of...bowling balls. We later found bowling alleys in Italy. But it was kinda weird to be walking around in that area with a bowling bag.

So, today is planting day since I have no car. the kids got plants from the Easter bunny so now we need to plant them. That should be fun. We'll get good and dirty and hopefully not wet since I just heard it raining outside. Eeeek!! The tv just randomly turned off. Not sure what that is about. I think I'm gonna scrap a little bit today too. It goes so much faster on my Mac. Whoo!!

Chris - Yay for your kids. they are awesome. And yay for some heat. You should come down whenever we decide to go to Myrtle Beach. I can guarantee warmth. Maybe a little too much.

Trudy - Have fun at work. I think I need a pair of fit flops. I wear flip flops all the time so they could be perfect for me.
