The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Holy Flying Month Batman!
Wasn't I just saying how the kids were going back to school? And now, mid-marking period closes tomorrow. Ack!

yesterday was a good day and a bad day. The bad part was that I was thisclose to taking all of my animals to the shelter. The two males cats are still having their pissing contest, literally. One of them sprayed all over my pants in my closet. And there are probably over 25 pairs. Most of them don't fit me anymore- but I can't give them up and admit I am never going to be that skinny again. So all of them had to be soaked and washed and double rinsed.
Then there was cat pee in my bathroom again, the dog stepped in dog poop under a leaf and the poopy leaf got dragged in with her. Then as I get ready for bed, I put the dogs in my bedroom, feed the other cats, the one cat throws up. I go back into the bedroom, one of the dogs peed. Clean that up. Climb into bed and the kitten threw up a hairball on my comforter and that soaked all the way through the sheets, so i had to strip and remake the bed. UGH!!!

The good part of the day was spending time with my mom. We went to Kohls and got some amazing deals!! We spent $107 and the savings were over $315!! Then we went to Macaroni Grill for lunch and had a chance to just talk. We haven't had the time to sit and relax together in a long time.

Today I am off to work at MIL's. There is a good chance that I am going to be steam cleaning the cat pee off her rugs too- she has one cat that has been spraying one spot on her family room for years now. I cannot escape from cat pee! :help:

Hope everyone has a wonderful pee-free day!

Oh Chris- I could just see all that happening- I hope you have a pee free day too! Well for the animals anyways- yeah for the score at Kohls- mine was only 15% so I'm not shopping- maybe next time.

Lots to do at home today and looks like from my computer calendar that the sun will be out some- maybe I should make a Sally list- oh I did- yesterday on paper!

Personals with some :tea:

Laurie-- you do eat healthy! Gads, you should see what I feed my family most days. So sad..... and I used to love to cook good and healthy foods. How was work?

Krista- how much coffee do you drink during the day to stay awake?? And what is your secret to being able to busy like that and still be able to come home and scrap??

Sally- you can answer those questions too:)

Vicki- I am right with you on your WWW's!

Trudy- what a neat time you had! We went to a family reunion in 2006 and you are so right- it is crazy how mannerisms can be the exact same as someone you never met. Its kind of eerie in a way!

Waving back to Merkee!!!

Clara-- a novel, YAY!! I am so glad to here that you found your stuff. I had a feeling that you would it was just a matter of figuring out where you left it. BTDT! All of the time. haha!
I am sorry to hear about your aunt. ((((hugs to you and her fam))))
Good for you getting to talk to D about stuff. You are so much like me and it is no good to keep any of that bottled up. Iam really happy to hear that you have a DR. One room at a time, and you'll have your whole house done in no time. Awww- i wish I could come down and sing along to Rent with ya!!! Although you might not like me, I tend to be brutal about getting rid of "stuff." My mom is a "collector" and she shudders when I try to tell her to get rid of crap.

Nana- sending YMG hugs. We have pouring rain/flood watches here too today. Hope today is a great day for ya!!

xoxox

:spit: Chris .... I drink quite a bit of coffee ... diet coke .... a little water :spit: I am able to come home and scrap ... because well quite honestly I'm addicted ... so I HAVE too ;) I love having an addictive personality at times :hurt:

Yesterday was a long day but a good one ;) Peter coached Danielle's school soccer team - yup they lost all 3 games, didn't score a goal ... but they all had fun :) Including daddy!! :peace: He needed a fun day off work ... and yesterday was it. It was a beautiful day too!! :) I helped with a few things, but mainly I was able to enjoy some sunshine and spend the day with my hubby!! :) This makes me very happy. We were done soccer around 2, so I was also able to spend a little quality time with my bed as well before I headed off to work. Work was well work!! LOL!!

Today, I'm off to work for a double shift 9-2 and then 4:30 - 9 ... then it will be home to play!! :)

Have a great day all!! :)

AAACKKKK....Chris!!! Your post about the animals makes me know for sure that I don't want any!!!

Laurie...if you have a Sally list....we won't see you!! :scared: cuz her lists are LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!! Good luck on completing that list and glad you are getting some sun!! WE AREN"T!!!

Krista.....Yay for the "hubby" time!! I get loads of now that I don't have kids at home anymore.....I am very grateful for that, but like when he is gone on Saturdays sometimes!! OH and I hear ya on the addicted to scrapping...ME TOO!! BUT my body will give out on me eventually and I have to sleep sometime!! REally don't know where you find the energy to do family stuff..work a double shift then come home and stay up and scrap!! YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

It's pouring here too!!! and flood watches too!! NC is under state of emergency already...CLARA your aren't floating yet are you???

I watched Survivor last night and went to bed!!! two nights in a row of only 4 hours of sleep......so I crashed!!!

My little Savannah is in a BAD BAD mood everyday now....I am not sure if she is cutting teeth...I can feel teeth there...but not cutting through the gum....my others never were bothered by teeth. She has developed quite the temper....OH NO....Nana does not like tempers!! :baby: doesn't work either!!! I am doing a lot of
nonosmiley.gif
and I swear I think she is doing a lot of :hand: :hurt:

Okay......I better go....I need :tea: LOTS OF IT!!

Chris, that sounds like a day at my house! Yesterday I made the mistake of letting my dogs run around while I was studying. Well, the big dogs are great. They will come whine at me until I put them out. My little dogs however just sneak off to do their business if I don't take them out every 30 min. As it was I took them out every hour and they still managed to pee and poop twice in my house. Grrrr.
I don't think you can ever get away from hairballs. I found out last year that my male cat was allergic to grains, so they are on a grain free diet and he still gets hairballs from time to time. I don't have tpo worry about spraying, but if their litter box is dirty they will pee on clean clothes, or their favorite, backpacks! GROSS! Don't know why I deal with it sometimes

Hahahahahahahahaha - as I sit here reading this Addie comes in and asks if I will wax her...as in body hair waxing. She had come to a couple of waxing appts with me in the past and was so enthralled by it and now just randomly she wants it done. I tried to explain to her that it hurts but nonetheless she was insistant so we play-waxed her legs. Oh dear!!!!

Anyway, I didn't get everything done on my list yesterday but I forgot I had to go pic Derek up at work so I'm good with it. Today I got nothing done because i had to take Derek in at the crack of Dawn. Having him on a motorcycle sucks when he has no other way in and we have stuff to do. Ethan is supposed to have piano today but he is making me crazy with his school work today and just not doing it and is distracted by everything. Derek is working on getting our physician switched this week so hopefully we'll get in for an eval in the semi-near future.

Yesterday was kinda fun...we went and got Addie her first pair of glasses. Of course she doesn't like to wear them because they hurt her ears but once she wears them a bit she'll do better. Now I just need mine and we'll be set. Maybe she'll wear hers better if i wear mine. My new ones are green. I did find my fireplace mantle yesterday...that was kinda fun.

Oh crap...just looked at the time. I have to get ready for Ethan's piano lesson. Oh, does anyone know when Amanda might be putting up her list. I have no expectations. As sweet as she is, I am sooooo intimidated by her designs (if that makes sense) and don't feel worthy but I love them sooooo much and would kill for an opportunity to be on her team. Plus I'd get to play with Krista. Eeeeeek!! Plus I love her view of CT work...scrap when my designs inspire you to scrap....as if all of her designs aren't inspiring to scrap. I love it. If only I was a millionaire I would buy up all the O products and scrap all the time.

Okay...tic toc tic toc. Peace out. I'll share some love this afternoon. Love you all!!

Morning wonderful "O" friends  It is a sunny day here today, not a cloud in the sky, what a surprise for us!! But then again sometimes the best weather here is in the fall. I love this time of the year when all the trees are turning :thumb: No work for me today and then a short shift tomorrow and off for the weekend, boy did I luck out on this new job!! I am started to enjoy it more now that I have begun to understand the computer system and the customers have been very patient with me! So nice that one of my high school best friends is working with me too!!
On my second cup of :tea: already and anxious to get some scrapping done today.

Chris - Oh my what a bad day you had with all of your pets :eek2: I think that by the time I would have had to change the sheets I would have gone  But I know that you love your furry kids and they are so lucky to be in such a great home!!
Sounds like you got some amazing deals at Kohl's, we do not have that store up here in :canada: at least not that I know of, but would love to be able to shop there!
I hope that you have a great Pee-Free day too!!

Laurie - hope the sun comes out for you today too, and that you get everything done in your house that is on your list! Remember to take some time to scrap

Krista - I am also amazed that you find time to do all that you do :juggle: but it sounds like you have it all together and you are loving your life!! It was fun scrapping with you and the others last nite, it really makes it a lot of fun to get some of those pictures onto a layout that I have been putting off. Hope your double shift is not too tiring for you and that you get a chance to scrap again tonight and Linda is right you really are amazing :hail:

Nana Linda -Ohh your poor little Savannah!!!! It's so frustrating to watch them go throught the pain of teething and not be able to make them feel better, it makes you want to  right along with them. Hoping the rain stops very soon for you, we don't want to hear of you floating away :fish2: I will try to send the sun your way.

Callfamilycircus: (:sorry: don't know your name) Welcome to the "O" and this great chatter forum, hope you enjoy it here!!

Have a great Thursday everyone

Clara - we must have been posting at the same time  Sounds like you have a full day a head of you girl!! Had fun scrapping with you last night and love your LO!! I hear ya about amanda's CT call I also would love to be on her team, not sure when she will announce, but I will keep my fingers crossed for both of us.

you could cross for me too- I believe she said Saturday on her blog will be the official announcement- and I so agree with you Clara- intimidating but great to work with her designs- and there is that Krista thing (tee hee hee). sun is out and I am going to go mow lawn- it was so dry here, I think it has been over a month and now the weeds are getting too tall, grass, not so much!

Ohhh girlies!! My list keeps growing and growing!! I accomplished sooo much yesterday, yet I still have a gob to cross off!! LOL!!!

So this is my list today:

1. quilt advent calendars
2.make medium aromatherapy pillow + embroider cover
3. design quick apron pattern
4. design dishtowels
5. sew pockets onto advent calendars
6. embroider, embroider, embroider!!

doesn't seem long, but each task takes a while...

yesterday the kids did fabulous with doing their school AND cleaning the downstairs. I reorganized my craft studio, went to the grocery store AND cooked dinner AND designed little gifties and napkin holders for my mom's dinner-and-a-movie party for this Sat. And I finished the laundry that was outside the laundry room, so that hallway (that leads to my craft studio) is clean!! What a blessing to have my mom over to a relatively clean house!!!

Okay...I gotta get stuff done here!!! where is that caffeine??? (Ohh this is my secret and I just gave it away!!)

LOVE YOU ALL dearly!!!

Chris, I LOVE your mom, too!! I'm sure you girlies had a lot to talk about! (teeheee!!) btw, what questions can I answer??? LOL!!! HUGS!!! sooo sorry about all the PEE...mr gorgeous is militant about the closet door being shut in our bathroom for that very reason!!!

Laurie, ohhh girlie, you know i wanna see your list!!! :) thanks for entering into my darling world of insanity and production!! :) *mwah*

KRISTA!!!! I'm hoping to be done with all of my sewing so I can play tonight, but I'm not sure with this list!!! yike...you know i'l ditch the craft room for you and my comfy scrapping area!! :)

Ohhh Nana, hugs to you and Savannah!! hope that she gets rid of that little temper!! You are such a wonderful nana!!!

Hi Katrina!!! welcome to the Os...I hear you on the cats and hairballs...I make my 16yo clean them all up! yuck!!! :) and like Clara said, welcome to all of the fun, frivolity and craziness!!!

Clara, ohhhhhh it's sooo okay to not finish a list...it's just a guideline anyway, right??? (please say right!!) and glasses...soooooo fun!! Cora wears fake ones all the time for a fashion statement. (I personally love my contacts after 10 solid years of glasses wearing!LOL!!)...you'll makeit through these kinds of days, babe! I promise!!! Ethan will do great!!! :) hugs!!

TRUDY!! it was soo fun to scrap with you, clara and krista last night!!! I'm so excited you like your job and that you have a dear friend to be with!! hugs, hun!!! hope to see you tonight (if I get my list close to being done!!)

Okay, girlies...now i'm really off to sew, sew, sew!! :)

AND TODAY I"M POSTING FUN STUFF IN THE CHALLENGE FORUMS THAT YOU WILL LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! yay!! <-----that's on my list, too!!!

Home in the middle of my shift ;) Had to stop in and see how my favorites ladies are ;) Glad to see that for the most part you are all having a great day!! Nana .... no sleeping for you tonight girl .... get your butt onto yahoo at 9:30 :hurt: Hope little S, is having a better afternoon :)

okay, I'm back. Ethan had his piano lesson and it was fine although he has lost a lot but I'm sure he'll be back where he was in a lesson or two. I like the instructor...she is a younger version of our last instructor and her personality is a little different too but not in a bad way just in a different way. The last instructor was very nice and her house was homey, while this lady has a very spotless looking house with all the appropriate holiday decor and comfortable but not as lived in. She's younger, go figure. But I think she'll be just fine and I like her. Ethan's first instructor was horrible. I showed up to a paid for lesson one time after she had moved and Ethan had gotten antsy and rather than find a way to work through it he was helping her organize her music room. Really? Other times when he'd get antsy she would let him play games which he very quickly learned that if he messed around he would get rewarded with games. Those lessons didn't last long. I found this lady through the homeschooling group at my church and she really kinda got shafted. She was offering some music, drama, movement classes to the kids of the GRACE group (the homeschool group) and was told she could only offer the classes to them and then some of the classes didn't fill up. But she was told she couldn't offer them to other members of the church. Just silliness. I was so excited about a music movement class she was offering for Addie's age group but it only had 3 registrants. :( So class was cancelled. So I talked to her about a way to approach the HS group so that she could offer it up to more people.

So today this is my to-do list:
1. Lay in bed and play on the computer
2. Visit my friends at O-scraps
3. Scrap a page or two
4. As little as possible

Honestly, I'm just not feeling it today. Taking my husband in just really threw me off and I am not feeling much of anything...but I do need to write those condolence cards from yesterday that I didn't do. I hate that stuff but I really need to. Then I really need to get it in the mail.

So, still checking Amanda's blog in hopes that today is the day. She said originally after the 30th so I am just hopeful she will post earlier than the weekend. :) Here's to wishful thinking.

And now for some love...

Chris - I would call your vet and explain the situation to them and see if they have any suggestions for you. They may have a simple answer for you that can fix things. I also just read somewhere that if the cats (like at MIL's) pee on the same place to cover it with plastic wrap or foil. Just a thought. Those are some awesome savings at Kohl's. You are the queen of finding bargains though so that does not surprise me. I'm so glad you go to spend some good time with your mama. I get to see mine in a few weeks.

Laurie - enjoy your sunshine. DH and I keep going back and forth about going up to your neck of the woods...well, into your state anyway...to see his parents. Not sure yet. they live in Cleveland so several hours from you I believe. Don't you live near Columbus or somewhere central in the state?

Krista - Ick about the double shift, but you seem to handle it. Scrapping at night has been awesome. That is so fun that you got to spend the day with your hubby today and that he got to spend a fun day with his family.

Linda - I missed oyu last night but am so glad you got some sleep. I wish our days would end a little sooner so we could hook up sooner online. Have you tried teething tablets with Savannah? they were a saving grace with both of my kids and they were both horrible teethers. It works so much better than oragel. I hope Mike gets a hair up his butt to decide to check something else out and find some new work. Would he get some retirement from UPS?? Is there no way he could find a position in one of the warehouses or something that was not so hard on his body or become a supervisor or something? Man I wish I had a good answer for him. That just sucks. Hugs for you!! And prayers for him.

Katrina - that cracks me up that you have a zoo. You weren't far off in WA but it sounds like you really have yourself a zoo now. I couldn't deal with all those animals.

Oh - just so you all know, because I know...callfamilycircus = Katrina

Trudy - I am so glad you like your new job and that you get to work with friends. Are you done at Safeway? Oh what I wouldn't give for a Safeway out here though. I miss decent grocery stores. The regular grocery store here still seems like a discount store. If I don't want to drive across town my best bet for groceries is Walmart. They have better selection than the other grocery store. Ugh!! And I do not love Walmart.

Sally - have I told you lately that I adore you? Well, I do. Caffeine is your secret, huh? It must be that Texas caffeine, since everything is bigger in Texas I would have to guess the caffeine punch is too. That is so funny how people are about glasses. I prefer glasses because I have bags under my eyes from allergies and wearing glasses makes me feel like they are disguised. Cora looks so darn cute in her glasses and without. Your kids are just cute. **random thought warning** I may have to send you a PM sometime when I think about it later (since I don't feel like it right now) and ask you about how you got Q started in gymnastics but I'm not in a hurry and know you are super busy and don't really want to add anything on until we get our routine settled, probably the beginning of the year. Also, thanks for chatting last night...got me thinking and relooking at some ideas and habits we've formed and unformed that i want to get back into at home. I get lost in my life and have to find my life once in awhile if that makes sense, which I think it does to you with your recent designing experiences.

Okay, I have to get to that list of mine. LOL!! Oh my goodness, have I mentioned how much I have missed it in here. the Daily-Os keep me sane. I love the rest of the O but the Daily-Os are my daily dose of sanity. I need a smiley...this one is perfect...this is me without the O's. :boom:
