Oh this 5 am crap is going to suck! (pardon my language, but I am not a morning person)

I have to get up at 5 am to make sure both kids get up and showered (Cait at 5, Scott at 5;30) . It took me a half hour just to let out the dogs, feed and medicate the animals that need it, get coffee. and sit here for a couple of minutes. I have to get the kids to the bus at 6:40, and then I plan to work out from 7-7:30, shower and get my day going by 8:30. That doesn't give me much time to be here -- in the mornings at least.

In face, I need to get going now, make sure the kids get some b-fast and brush their teeth!

The forum and galleries are so busy and I must catch up soon :)
 
Just a quick one here...I need to be in the shower if I want to stay on schedule! I promise, I'll swing back through tonight. Of course, tonight is the night that I pull into the driveway, put Sydney (wearing soccer clothes) into the van and take off to soccer practice from 5:30-6:30, watch a few minutes of Shaun (wearing soccer clothes) doing soccer practice (6:30-7:30), leave Shaun and Daddy behind, get Sydney switched into a leotard and 20 minutes down the highway to gymnastics practice (7:30-8:30). Then home for spelling word practice, reading practice...and hopefully no other homework! Oh...and of course, baths and hair because everyone will be stinky by then. Maybe I'll see you all again in the morning!:help::spit:
 
Morning Chris and Linda- I'll be praying that your busy days go as planned and you accomplish all you have to- I got tired just reading about it. I have a busy at home day planned and need to go get a second cuppa coffee and move the sheets over to the dryer- tons of layouts running through my head today- oh yeah! I'll stop in periodically to update and cheer everyone on!

clara- how is the house?

Chris......Sooooooooooooooo...does NANA need to get in little girlfriend's Mama's face???? If they are not allowed to go out....come on...why is she allowed to spend so much time with him?? That mother does not have a clue!!! I hope you had a nice lunch with the parents!!!

Krista....hope you got all of your stuff done yesterday!!! I see you did some mad scrapping last night!! YAY!!! I am off to gallery when I finish here!! gotta go see what ya did!!

Andrea....oh how school changes the WHOLE schedule!! I hope you get used to things soon!! Bummer about that early day for Atha....REALLY...I don't see the point!! I mean...I know that it is probably good for her...but wow what a pain for MOM!!!

Tali!!! Hi sweetie!! It's been so long since you have popped in!! Sounds like life is changing BIG TIME for you!! Sounds like all the babies are doing fab!! :) hope you transition to the working world well...GOOD LUCK!!

Trudy....I saw a lot of your pages last night on my gallery run!! WOWZA...you did do some scrapping!! AWESOME stuff!! Hope you got your stuff around the house done!!

Chris....BOOOOO on the getting up so early!!! I remember those days!!! Although...it was not quite that early!!! They catch the bus here around 7:30 for elementary and High School around 8:30. Hope you get all your stuff done so you can PLAY!!

LindaS....Oh my......Hope you don't run into yourself getting everything taken care of there!!! Have a great day!!

Laurie....I hope some of those layouts in your head get onto the computer so we can see!! :)
 
A usual day for me....KIDS!!!

I need to share some news.....

I have known since the wedding in July, but was waiting to make sure everything was okay....

Alison is having another baby!!! (My brat step daughter in TN). They are really excited and hoping for a girl. So Jacob and Hayden will be 10 and 7 when this little one arrives. So she is essentially starting over again!! I knew they were trying...she has been for about 18 months. She had about decided she had changed her mind...and BAM...there ya go!!!

So anyway....ONE more to add to our crew!! And Jamie and Annette still have not had any children....Goodness...I might end up with more than 10 grandkids before it's over!!!
 
morning again - sitting here hungry and realized- umm I never ate breakfast- cleaned a cupboard, washed and remade the bed, had quite time, started a layout - that I can't share because I am on Maya's new CT and I can't share till she turns 18! But have to do more for Sue to and Cinzia's new 52 so many cool digi items- glad it is a 3 day weekend, because I will have lots of play time- the advantage of living far from family and not having many get together type friends- lots of down time on holidays.

Nana- congrats on the up and coming grandbaby!
 
Good morning ladies!!! :tea: is hot!! I'm a little late getting here this morning ... Peter let me sleep in a bit :love: I was up way too late playing here ... scrapping there .... ya know how it goes!! :)

Today, working again at 4 :) Which makes me happy, cause I get to send the day playing here and with my monkeys. I'm not looking forward to summer being over and the start of the nasty school. Yes, for those of you that don't know me real well, I hate the entire school institution. :mad2:But I don't have the "means" to homeschool, so I have to settle :(

Today, we are cleaning out dressers and closets :pray:, to see what still fits, and who needs what for Back to School. That should be a lovely daunting task!! But it needs to be done. Tomorrow is back to school shopping ... me and the 4 girls :pray:

Linda :first: .... I don't miss that insanity of two seasons over-lapping ... we are just a single sport family now ;) Makes life alot easier!! :)

Nana Linda ... have fun with the kiddies today ... and congrats on your newest edition!! :)

Chris ... be SURE you are LOOKING after yourself with the crazy schedule!!!

I am here, for a minute... I am supposed to be working.....shhhhh.

Both kids got off to school fine- they'll be back home before I know it.

Good Morning all... It is always so late when I get here, guess most of you are a few hours ahead of me with the time zone. Well I've already done my household chores and had one cup of coffee, so now its time to get my thinking cap back on and go play with all the goodies here at the "O".
Linda - Thanks for all the love in the gallery!!! Congrats on the new baby coming, how will you ever keep up with birthdays???? I guess it means you get to spread your love around even more, lucky grandkids!!!
Linda S - I don't miss all that running around for kids sports, I used to have to get up at 5:00am to sit in a freezing cold arena to watch my son play hockey, and when I say freezing I mean really cold, because some of the rinks were natural ice. BRRRRRRR!! Then off to gymnastics and dance for my daughter, then karate for my son. Oh well they loved it all and it made for great childhood memories!
Chris - hope you adjust to your early mornings and that you get time to do some fun things in the digiworld today!
Laurie - hmmmm, my stomach is also growling, guess its time for breafast here too. Way to go on the cleaning out cupboards, I should be doing the same. Can't wait to see your new layouts with Maya, how exciting , its hard to wait isn't it??
Krista - I'm with you on the whole school thing, if I could do it over I think I would home school too, although I think things are worse now than when my kids were in school, so much bullying so much peer pressure. It's sad :sad: Have a good day with your kids shopping, Like Chris says....EEK!!
 
LOL...stopping in the O with great news. :-) We have rain tonight so only gymnastics practice! I know...bad mommy...but what can I say...this is a blessing. Your prayers were answered Laurie! Thank you! (I'll be sure to request them again next Thursday. :-)
 
Chris, how did it go this morning? Everyone get where they were supposed to be? And glad that Scott's girlfriend (yep, that's what I'm calling her) gets to come to your house...

so, real quick and hopefully tomorrow i'll find an internet provider.

so, i am writing this while lyingin MY bed in my own room, sleeping next to my husband for the first time in a month. and this is after i tucked my kids into their own beds in their own rooms. praise God the end of crazy is near. so who wants to help me unpack boxes? everyone is welcome to come hang out at my place...oh, and we ate pizza at our dining room table.

man, life is good. tomorrow i hope to get the kitchen and kid's rooms settled. better get some sleep though. and in case i haven't mentioned it recently...you guys are the bestest! i wouldn't have made it through without you. i love you all!
 
i almost forgot to let you guys laugh at me. we can't have that. so last night we were bringing some stuff we had bought into the house and i was organizing. i knew we'd had a few pesky critters running around the house but i hadn't seen them so i didn't really care. so i was in the kitchen and moved a bag and out darts this ginormous bug. in washington we don't have big bugs. moths are generally about as big as it gets. so i start screaming because it freaked me out...i mean my hand was just there. it could have touched me. ewww! then i find out dh had just killed another one a few minutes before. i tried to just keep doing my thing but finally realized that there was no way i could sleep in the house, especially since we were pretty much going to be on the floor. so at about midnight i packed up the kids and we went to a hotel. i slept so good but then woke up bright and early to reach an exterminator. he was awesome though. was out within 2 hours although he and my husband spent a lot of time making fun of me. men are brats. but now our house will soon be bug free and i'm a happy camper.
