Guesswhatguesswhat??
Scott had a good day at school yesterday! Whew!! *huge sigh of relief*
They were able to switch him into a new gym class and he is so much happier. I bet ya that his old gym teacher is too.

I am still not feeling so good- allergies are awful and my stomach has not been too happy. I am not sure if it is a bug or just still run down. I did call in sick to my MIL ;)
So I am working from home today.
Andrea- your order is on my list!

Linda W- I hope that Savannah feels better today- that sounds like a really cute humidifier. I need to get Caitlyn's out of the attic today, thanks for reminding me! How cute are these two babies going to be in a few months when they are sitting up and crawling?? :) Photo Ops!!
Ugh- your poor dh- just those few separate bee stings this summer freaked me out- I cannot imagine getting swarmed like that.

I want to see that LO- but DST is not loading for me :(

Andrea- I don't know if it is just that I have no boobs to smooosh but it was seriously not a big deal. Pap smears are definitely ickier. (Sorry! TMI for you!)
Hugs to you and I hope that today is better for ya.

Clara- I hate days like that- esp at the end and you think where the heck did it go and what did I do?? :)
What kind of phone did you get?? I just got a new upgrade too. My old phone was not holding a charge any more, and my charger broke (the second one I had for that phone too ugh). I got an LG Lotus- in purple. It does all of these great things, *if* you have a text/data plan-- which I do not. But some day if I am ever rich and famous I'll be able to to text on a purple phone.
(Simple things amuse me)
Hope your brain doesn't feel too mushy today!

Linda W-you have no idea how much your words mean to me and how much relief I feel from them!
I was brought up "old school" meaning that if I didn't like a teacher, I was told to suck it up. It made me feel like I was doing him a disservice, or was teaching him the wrong lesson by requesting the teacher switch. I even had a couple of friends tell me that, which just adds to the Mommy Guilt.
That is a great perspective-- and one I am going to have to keep in mind- at all times!
TY!!!

Oh wow!! I have never heard of Hunters for the Hungry- You all know I am not big on hunting, as a sport, but I have no problem with people who use it at meat (even tho it makes me squeamish ). But that is an awesome idea! I wish more of us tree-huggy types knew about this. It would make a lot of warped people like me really happy

That Cameran-- he sounds like an absolute doll- give him hugs from his O-Aunt!

Have a fabulous day everyone!!!

*reaches through monitor to hug you all*

So today I have THREE babies...LOL!!! DH is staying home today!!

He has been spouting out all sorts of orders this morning already....he just needs to get over that!! I have two babies on the way, and he is the oldest, so he has to wait!! BuHAHAHAHAHA!

He's in there fixing a cup of coffee right now "Is that all you do...type on the computer all day"

***shaking head**** thinking...I love this man, I love this man, I love this man!!!!

No he really is not that bad...he has a dentist appt in about an hour, so he's not a happy camper!!

Chris.......................I am so HAPPY Scott had a good day!! and I am very happy to hear he got his teacher switched....you may see some changes in him in other areas because of this one thing. I was raised very old school too, and pretty much raised my kids that way, but times, environments, people change so we must adapt with these changes, so what was good parenting then, may not be so good now....If you ever take any advice from me (LOL), this is the best one "Picking your battles"....I truely learned this was a vital tool in my parenting Traci!!
Hope your allergies are better soon....((((HUGS)))) but a day off, and maybe some scrapping might be the thing you need!

OKAY...........NEWSFLASH............

OMG...I am watching the Early show and they are telling a story about a cat that accidentally got shipped 950 miles!!! By UPS too!! LOL... They have the family and the cat on there right now!! A woman that worked in their office (business) did not know the cat had gotten in the box and taped it up and shipped it off....my question is "how did UPS not realize through all the handling, that there was a CAT in that box?" The cat arrived safely at a chiropracter office and he called the family (collar tag had info on it)...they didn't say how the Cat got back home...but he's safe and healthy!! Guess you really could ship yourself somewhere...buhahahahahahaha!!!

Hey girls, real quick check in. I have been soooo sick, DH picked up a bug at work and shared it with me and it hit hard. The chills have been like an earthquake that goes on and on and on, cough, congestion, the works. I thought I was sick a few wks ago but it was nothing compared to this, ugh. I haven't wanted to scrap or even look at the puter which is soooo unlike me, I tried to leave some love in the gallery yesterday and didnt get too far. Well, that's where I've been, hopefully I'll feel better soon, DH is still feeling the effects and it's been over a wk for him.

I'll get caught up on personals hopefully this wkend. xoxoxoxo

Weeee...my babies are here...and both swings are flying!!! Now if I could find a BIG swing for the BIG baby!!! LOL!!!! They both showed up in Good moods!!

Chris...I checked the link on the page Dawn made and it worked for me..hmmm...must be DST...ugh....they drive me crazy!! and you are right about the two babies in a few months...I had already thought about it....cute photo sessions!! put them down with some toys they will be pulling at them and fussing at each other!!

Dawn...sweetie....you are getting so many sickie bugs!! (((HUGS))) I hope you will feel better soon...especially so you can scrap...you have been a scrapping maching lately!!!

Linda, that is one funny cat story!!! I bet that box stank. Wow!! Oh, and I know how it is when the menfolk are underfoot. Actually, when mine is home and on leave I feel like I need to give him errands to run. He's not good at time off, so he tends to really get in the way. LOL. I wouldn't mind him being in my way right now. Hunters for the Hungry sounds like a GREAT thing! I MIGHT be okay with Vince hunting if he did that. LOL. He was going fishing some before he left this last time, and I would have been happy with some fish coming home, but he never brought any. Suddenly I am remembering Brokeback Mountain. LOLOLOL!! Somehow I don't think that's what my man was up to. Hahaaa! Probably more like just sitting in a boat and BS'ing.

Chris-Okey dokey gal. Gimme a shower gel and a body spray. Just let me know how much on my email and I'll pay pal ya! That is GREAT news about Scott having a good day at school! Yeah!!! Hopefully he took notice of how good having a good day feels and he repeats it. Sorry you aren't feeling so hot. Blah, I'm in the same boat. My tum tum is okay tho. Ginger tea for you!

Dawn, I hope you feel better soon! Wrap up in a big blankie and hug your bunny!

Clara, I know I have to get the mamogram, and I'll do it, it's just that, well you know the military system. Nobody ever mentions it to me, so I never think about it. Maybe now, this month while it's on the brain I'll calll and ask some questions.

So last night at about 2, Gen came and got into bed with me and that little girl would NOT sleep. She just tossed and turned. And since she woke me up, I started coughing and couging, which woke Atha up. Atha came and got in bed with us at about 4. Now this is only a full size bed, remember, and Gravy the cat sleeps with me too so we were jammed in there. I probably didn't fall back to sleep until 5 or so, and then Atha woke up at 8. Blah. So I'm feeling sleepy and my throat still tickles. I'm going to go get some Nyquil today and see if that helps tonight. Gen is still asleep and it's 11. I'll have to wake her up soon so we can get Atha to school at noon.

I have homework to do today, too. So.. this day is gonna stink. I also am going to go out and price carpet cleaners. I rented a Rug Doctor over the weekend (even though I felt wretched) because I couldn't stand looking at the dirty carpet one second more. I like how it looks now, and I feel like with two little ones (and possibly another coming next year?) it makes sense to own a carpet cleaner. But they are so expensive, I know I'll be traumatized.

That's all I have. Just made a fresh pot of coffee, anybody want some?

Just popping in for a quick hello today. It looks like it is going to be a crazy day for me trying to finish up editing sessions from this past weekend and then shooting another senior session today if the rain holds off. And I have another wedding this Saturday to get ready for. And sometime in the next week a newborn session that I'm really really looking forward too!! I'm finally starting to get more calls so I need to organize my calendar & stuff! Oh, and clean up my computer since I just got the "Low on Disk Space" message again.

Anyway, I hope all of you that are sick, or have sick children, get better!

Be back later if I find some time :-)

Hi hi to everyone!!

Good morning ladies!! I am sleepy today...but once again it is all my fault. That dang computer would let me turn it off. I was all excited that I found the parental controls but it won't let me set them up on my own log on. Lame. I have to figure it out so that it turns off on me at a certain time and I can't use it all hours of the night. Hello...my name is Clara and I'm a Scrapaholic and Surfaholic. It is bad. I did cut myself off before I finished something though and didn't push on until I finished like I usually do which is progress, but I am still tired today.

So, I started this hours ago but got lots of patients this morning so now I am back at it. I think the sudden drop in temperature is making everyone's back hurt. All my patients have been really sweet today though. That is always nice. They were back to back which is kinda odd. That isn't usually the case for me, but I really don't mind...I mean it is after all my job. :) You know what else is my job??? ANDREA - GET YOUR MAMMOGRAM GIRL!!!! Just sayin. :) The military is really bad about pushing you to take care of your body aren't they?? Stinking Tricare. I'm so thankful I get seen off post and don't have to deal with getting seen by a different provider at every appointment. I hated that.

So, tonight was supposed to be Ethan's piano lesson. Can't say I'm sad it got cancelled. Thursday night is always a bit crazy. DH brings Ethan to my work then I take him to his lesson and we get home late. Just in time to give Addie some love before she goes to bed. Blah. Just a crazy night. I definately feel for my parents during the days when my sis and I were busy every night. Don't know how they did it. Well, I am going to do some personals. I am so behind on my postings so I have to do individual posts...

Chris - If switching gym teachers is the answer then I say do it. Back to my own experience (if you ever want me to shut up say so) I had a teacher I didn't like so much. I actually threw a bit of a temper tantrum and walked out of class. Anyway, I wanted to drop the class and my mom ended up backing me up on it because it was the first thing I had made a decision on in a long time so she didn't care what it was she was backing me on it. The principal was being a big brat and told my mom that maybe I just needed to deal with some disappointment and my mom about lost it. Sometimes just knowing that your mom is on your side makes so much difference. In general, yes kids do need to work things out, but Scott hasn't been dealing with the usual problems of most kids and has the hand stacked against him. So getting a few breaks on things like new teachers isn't a bad thing. You are not dealing with a regular teenager with regular issues and sometimes he's going to need a different answer. Other times he's going to need the same answer as any other kid. It will just have to be a case to case basis. Do what feels right not what is the most popular choice. If this will get him through high school then do it.

I got a cool phone. Not sure what it is called, maybe a Samsung Propel, but it is white and red, I think, and has a keyboard and I can text on it. I didn't get a fancy smart phone because you can't even get it without a fancy package to go with it. Lame. I was looking at the iPhones and stuff but you have to get a data plan for an extra $30 plus. Lame. I'm excited about it though. I hope it is a fun phone to use and play with. We'll see. I'm sure something cool will come out next week. That's always the case. Go figure. I hope you feel better soon. Everyone around here has been getting sick too. Lots of flu.

LindaW - A cat?? Who ships their cat? That is insane? I think I am going to ship my dh somewhere just to see if I can. I'll give him a catheter so he doesn't have to pee and some air holes. Now...where to ship him. He's gained some weight though so he could be a little expensive. I could send him to Alaska. It has been kinda spendy to get flights there. hmmm... I'll have to think about that.

Aren't boys the biggest babies when they are sick? Mine gets bored. I always quarentine him but he gets bored and won't stay in the room and then comes out and tries to convince me he is better as he's wrapped in a blanket with chills or clutching his belly. He's also a hypochondraic...so whenever anyone else has anything going on with their belly he's positive so does he. He will go on and on about how his belly is tight or queasy or whatever and lay around not doing anything for hours when really he's just fine. Although the past couple of times he has actully been sick, but after years of his hypochondriac tendancies I tell him to suck it up and get over it. Oooops. I hope you had a good day with the other two babies and the third baby did okay with the dentist.

Dawn - what is going on with you? I'm sorry you are so sick? You have been sick a lot over the past few months. If someone even mentions illness you get it. You've got to get healthy lady. OJ, garlic, aloe, I don't know. Get healthy!! You're not working so you need to be healthy and be lounging because you want to be not because you have to be. That just sucks. Here's some virtual chicken noodle.

Andrea - That is funny about your dh fishing. My dh used to never catch anything either and it would drive me crazy. he'd spend hours away and come home with nothing. But this year we finally have a freezer full of fish. I hate hunting season. He goes duck hunting. he never comes home with anything though. I just hate everything about it. I'm glad he doesn't do big game anymore. he hasn't gone in nearly 10 years when he went for caribou in Alaska. He got one and we have the head hanging in our garage and ate the meat for a year. I didn't love the meat though. It was pretty gamey. I've heard that elk meat is awesome though. Better than beef. I'm just not a big game eater. I prefer to buy the cuts of meat I want from a package in the grocery store. When getting your carpet cleaner don't forget that the PX price matches pplus they have the rug doctors. You could get something like a green machine to get up the spots and then use the rug doctor every so often to do the whole carpet. The PX has those too. Plus you can also get a decent price to have it done. You just have to watch the mailers that come out for specials. Good luck.

Get your mammogram!!!!

Elisa - Good luck getting your calendar organized. That is awesome that you are getting busy. Very cool. Sounds like it is time to upgrade to a very large EHD, huh? Can you believe they have 1.5 TB ones out now. That is just unreal to me. Good luck with your sessions this weekend.

BBBBBLLLLAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Is all I have to say. My throat is a bit irritated. I'd better just be tired. If I wake up in the morning and resemble a pig I am going to be irate. Apparently around here if you are sick they aren't even testing you because the only thing going around is the swine flu. So not cool. I hope I am just being a hypochondriac and am really just fine. I am crossing every part of my body. I hope I don't get stuck in the shape of a pretzel. That could be a bit uncomfortable if I cramped up and couldn't move, ya know??

hey all... I'm sorry I haven't been around... my life is just so chaotic right now ugh... so here's what's happening my neck of the woods...

I think I'm finally going back to work tomorrow after being off all week... on Monday night just after 11:00 p.m. Matthew woke up and started throwing up... he had started running a fever since late Sunday evening... after we get the bed stripped and new sheets on, we check his temperature and it's 105.8 in one ear and 105 in the other... I jump into some clothes and rush him to the ER... they try giving him some tylenol orally and as soon as it hits his stomach it comes back up... we were at the ER until 3:30 a.m. - they're treating him for H1N1 with Tamiflu and after an xray he has a viral pnuemonitis... his cough wasn't any better so I called his pediatrician yesterday to see if they needed to check his lungs again, and they tell me to bring him in... good thing I did... his lungs were clear but he has a double ear infection. Fortunately for us, no one else is sick... YET...

Yesterday was a field trip for both of the kids... they were supposed to go to orchards, but it was raining pretty hard... so Piper's trip got canceled... Will's did not, but I was told they wouldn't be taking the hayride to the pumpkin patch for pumpkins... so I didn't take a coat thinking we would be inside the whole time... NOT... they took those kids out in the horrible wind and rain and it was FREEZING with the windchill... I was so cold and shivering so hard that my muscles are sore... so I'm half expecting a cold to set in from that...

there's some other stuff going on with the VA here in town where Daddy stayed, and we may have to open an investigation, but I don't want to go into it cuz it would take too long and I've already rambled enough LOL...

I miss you guys, and I hope that everyone is doing well! Love you all!
