Happy Thursday. I am feeling a bit tired/head achy/body achy/cranky. Maybe its the weather, but yeah, I kind of feel like crud.

I am working at MIL's today and I really wish I could stay home. But no one pays me to stay home.... wish they would!

Laurie- I am so with you- so moved by the rescue. I was so happy and relieved that they were all out by the time I went to bed last night. Its just amazing! I hope that the media gives them some space. I would hate to see them be harassed after all of that.
I hope you survived work yesterday.

How did Princess S do yesterday?
Halloween was always my kids fav. holiday (as Scott whispered to me once "Don't tell Santa" :D) , and I think it still is.
Let me think if I have any games still left in my head from teaching. I know we always did some- off the top of my head is the blindfold and stick your hands is grapes (eyeballs) spaghetti (brains) and so on.

We did Pumpkin, Pumpkin Ghost (or some set of random words...) instrwad of Duck Duck Goose....

I'll keep thinking....

Krista- wasn't it wonderful to see/read news and be happy about it? Yay!!! :)

Sally- I am so thrilled for you-- lots and lots of luck for you on Sat!!!!! How did your mom do too?
BTW- don't ask me why he has been on my mind, but how is your friend, the one who had cancer and was then doing great? Maybe thinking of miracles put him in my my but I was thinking of him for the last several days.

Trudy- hope you had a wonderful day and that your work dinner was as fun as it sounds.

Kat can I love you and hate you at the same time? :D Love you to bits and pieces that you got so much done. But your Christmas shopping is done?? That is soooo wrong! LOL

Meg- oh goodie- another "date challenged" O-Fam member! I am not alone.

Clara- it is 6;15 so you must be up inthe air or soon to be! Hope you have the best visit. Be prepared for lots of slobbery puppy kisses.
The duct tape gifts sound really fun. Our library had a craft day where the kids made duct tape flip flops. Not that Cait did, she is too "cool" for that *eye roll* but it sounds like a fun and original project.

Vicki- an earthquake?? Yikes!!!! too funny about the need to work out thought hehehe! I am sorry to hear about your friend's dad. It sounds like it was a very special service for a very special man.

morning O world- a glorious day- we had rain last night - I slept well - all the miners are out! I made it through a busy day with a good attitude.

Chris- I love the idea of an O-play day- it was on my list

Vicki - I nearly lost my coffee with your workout/earthquake post!

Clara- enjoy your fam/doggie time

Sally- I know your craft fair will be wonderful- how could it not with your outgoing personality and wonderful products!

Good Morning girls!!!

Went with my Mom yesterday....we had breakfast and coffee....and then went to Target....she had a hair appt after that....and Savannah was tired....she never fussed ONCE though!! YAY!! she was so good...she tried hard to fall asleep in the car...but I wouldn't let her...kept singing really loud....making her laugh....we did not make it to the school...I knew she would not last....

My computer was acting up when I got home...so I did a scan on it and found some infected files....deleted......restarted.....still acting up....scanned again...more infected files.....deleted...restarted...NO INTERNET....it would not let me sign on....checked Mike's laptop...no problem....so I started calling...ISP...no help.....McAfee (that I paid for subscription)...no help...said I needed to take to local technician...BAH!!!! So I went in search of these files that it was saying that messed up my computer...that was a big waste of time.....finally I just did a system restore to a couple of days ago....it worked....I HAD HUGE HEADACHE last night after all of that...

Chris thanks for the tips on games....if you think of anything else..let me know :)

I will be back in a little bit for personals....I have to hit the shower before my kiddos get here....

I'll be back......
 
Chris....You can't mess up my much more than it is sweetie...so don't worry!!!! I am feeling very achy myself....I have been all week....I am sure it's allergies...I just don't have any other symptoms yet....Hope you feel better ((HUGS)) I suppose I get paid to stay home, but babysitting is not what I want to be paid for, for staying home...HAHAHA!! I want to just collect the check...and do as I please :mrgreen: WELLLLL...a girl can wish, can't she??

Having a rough day today :( This too shall pass right??? I have to leave in a half hour to go work in Nick's classroom for an hour. I am hoping it is just the perk up I need!!! They are so cute!

Hmmm....I think I need to clarify so I am not banished from my "O" home *LOL* I am only done Nick's shopping - I still have the rest of the family to do :) Am I forgiven now ;)

Linda - OHHHHH I know how you feel that happened to me a couple years ago! I had Mcafee and there was a Trojan virus that took it over - that's why I am not on Yahoo IM. We found that it came from an infected file through there. I was sooooo bummed! (((hugs))) I am glad that nightmare is over for you!

Chris -- I hope you have a good day at the MIL's, I totally know what you mean about no one paying you to stay home! Hey, did I miss how things turned out with that super expensive new prescription? Has it helped at all?

Laurie -- I'm glad you survived the schedule craziness!!!! Good attitudes definitely add that extra layer of strength :)

Nana Linda -- Aw, I'm sorry about all the computer troubles!!! I've gone through that before -- but now I'm on a mac :) I have had two minor crashes since going mac, but both were kind of my fault. Didn't know not to unplug the charger cord when doing software updates. The second time was the dog's fault, really.

Kat -- I hope the rough day does pass for you! May the kids be total angels today :)
 
Ok, so last night was a rough night physically & I'm up and hour earlier than planned today, just because I still feel yucky.

This morning is the second attempt for my yarn group, I know at least one lady is coming. If no one shows, I'll probably look at some books. I can't stay that long this week anyways, since the hubby didn't take care of the car yesterday, ugh. So, I have to be back home to drive him to the shop.

Then the rest of the day will be working, as usual. I really need to practice some patience, because I'm super impatient with this new opportunity in designing, I want to start now, lol!

I'm going to try and get some walking in this evening, since it's going to be 93 (blech) today.

I am so glad to see those miners got out too. Hopefully they will never have to go back in a mine; I guess it would make me claustrophobic for life.

Linda: maybe try updating your Windows as Microsoft just came out with their biggest update ever because of a humongous bad virus circulating on FaceBook and I know you are on there too. If you get a message from someone you don't know saying you were tagged on a picture or whatever DO NOT OPEN THOSE!! They are mostly dormant viruses; dormant in the way that they will not be visible but collect all your info such as pass words, bank info etc. One guy had his bank account emptied out I read somewhere. Not a good thing at all!

Sally, I am sure you will be a huge success this Saturday! Take pics and let us know how it goes?

Laurie I hope you get to enjoy your day today with no work!

Not much news from me. Other than still not getting many miles and therefor sitting a lot we're doing good. We're now in Irving, TX (Dallas area), having another day off as there is no freight til tomorrow, then we're headed to Boise, ID. I am keeping my fingers crossed I won't be running into any of that white stuff in Wyoming as it was snowing there the other day YUCK!
By the way Linda: did you see me wave yesterday as I drove through Roanoke with my load of Neiman Marcus clothing? :biggrin:
We're now waiting for the Verizon store to open up as our very high tech phone (that I barely know how to operate) needs a software update. It's not working right now; very helpful.
Then my lovely hubby said he would get me a bowl of french onion soup @ Panera bread - I just love my hubby!! :love:
Tonight he wants to go out to dinner at Carraba's (Italian restaurant if you don't know it) - like I am gonna say no :mrgreen:

Maybe I will get to scrap with you ladies later - in the meantime enjoy your day!!
 
Morning "O" family :wave: I am off to work soon, so just a quick stop in here to say hi to everyone, then I will be back this afternoon to do some serious scrapping and personals. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday. It's a Friday for me as its the last day of work for me before the weekend ...three more days off in a row, how did I luck out to find this job?? Thank you my friend at Home Hardware!!! Scavenger Hunt and supper was lots of fun last night, but got home late and up early, so I am sure it will hit me later today!! Gotta go :bolt:

I'm baaaaack!!! Oh my word those kids were THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them all! They made my day - totally. I smiled the whole time I was there! Definitely the perfect medicine for me :) It was even pouring when I left and I DON'T CARE *lol*

I GOT INTO A STORE!!!!

It's the Christian store that doesn't really fit my style, but I am totally in love with their content & organization. I'm still waiting to hear back on the other store, but I don't except to hear from them until next week or later.

Our Scavenger hunt and supper was a lot of fun, had to do a lot of driving around the city, collecting some pretty crazy stuff! How do you convince a chicken place that you need one raw chicken leg , but you can't pay for it?? Well we did it and we were the only ones that did out of eight other teams. Sadly we still did not win as we took slightly longer than a couple of other teams to finish, but we sure had a great time! Super wasn't too bad, it was catered and wasn't really a supper, it was soup and sandwiches, but the sandwiches were awesome. One was a chicken salad with little bits of apple in it, I was surprised at just how yummy it was! Anyway off to start up my photoshop and see what I can get accomplished today. :wave:
