Whew! I finally made it in here - it's 5:15. Been a busy day - I'll tell you all about it. But first, Chris
@faerywings I can't believe your dad dropped a bomb like that!!! He WILL be in huge trouble if your mom finds out - good for you for staying mum. Yikes - like "Oh, your mom is having a CT". DUH - like it happens every day. Oh boy - those two.
My cute little black labels came today - I can't wait to play with my Ball jars. LMBO I'm SO lame. Of course, you like them too - my sister from another mother. There's no BWAHAHA emoji.

@BrightEyes I hope you're feeling a bit better by now - you've had a PJ day, I hope. I'm glad you like hearing my stories - you know how that wind does blow! My favorite thing to say is "the wind is going to blow it down to the main road". LOL One night, last summer, our chair cushions were gone (from the front porch) and I thought "where did they go"? I started walking around and found them up beside this little red barn that's on the property between our house and Adrienne's. If that barn hadn't stopped them, "they'd be down on the main road". Chuck took this double sided sticky tape and taped them down.to the chairs.

@taxed4ever how frightening about the wind damage! Sounds a lot like what we went through with our last wind storm. I know a hurricane came through here - we were out today and a lot of roads are still closed. There's still a mess on part of our property too - and our pond got completely "reconfigured". Yes, Mother Nature can be a total beast. I'm so glad that it didn't do anymore damage and at least it brought in some nice weather.
Adrienne, Ava, the pups and Carey came down about 11 this morning and stayed for a couple of hours. Then Chuck and I headed out to look for some Morning Glories and Wisteria to plant on the arch. Several hours later, we came home with everything else. I FINALLY found some at Lowe's but they were $70 a bucket!!! I said NO WAY!! I'll get some seeds and plant them myself or find some somewhere else that are not highway robbery. So now I have an arch with nothing on it. Oh well, it still looks pretty. I need to take pics but was waiting until I had some vines at least going up the sides.
I still needed 1 lavender plant and of course, I couldn't find any at Lowe's. Then Chuck says "Hon, here's a lavender plant (I think) but it isn't marked. It was sitting all by itself on an end cap. Bless his heart, I'm getting that man so into my herbs - how many men would recognize a lavender plant? I was SO proud. #clap#clap
We went to a private, local nursery too and I bought an asparagus fern and a beautiful coleus and couldn't resist 2 daisy plants and 3 purple salvia plants. I'll probably end up moving the salvia to the side garden if and when I get it done.
Then Carey saw us come home and walked down and helped me plant some of it. We had a great time just being outside and she leaves tomorrow night for a 6 am flight back to Detroit. It was so much fun to spend some time with her and she planted her first-ever plant and was so excited.
So, I'm very tired, but it's been a great day!
Thanks to ALL of you for "liking" my layouts on FB!! I really appreciate it and love seeing all of yours.
XOXO
