CHEERY O
I know, I know... I say it at the end of every month, but where the heck did March run off to??
I am still waiting for the "out like a lamb" however. Snow-- more snow for NJ! ugh!!! 4-8", 6-10" it doesn't matter- it is all too much!!!

I am off to MIL's to work this morning and she must not have seen the weather reports. She emailed me that if I wanted to get started cleaning up some twigs in the yard, I could. yeah- that isn't going to happen. Blergh!

ToT:
I really REALLY want to runaway somewhere warm. No. Not warm- HOT!!!!!!!!!! Even though I am terrified to go bathing suit shopping, I want to go and lay in the sun. I want to see bright blue sky and cool water.....

Bah humbug! Stuck in Nj again....

Chris- I hear you on the snow- it snowed yesterday while I was at work, and I had to use my snow brush to clear it off- we are expecting more too- oh well- prolongs the stick picking up time. Have not checked to see if my daffodils have even gotten to the bloom stage- maybe I will cut some and bring them in for my own spring cheer. My plate has cleaning this am and hair cut after lunch. GAs prices jumped this week- yikes- guess I will throw some errands in- like groceries and jean shopping at kohls with my 30 % off- although I did drop some dough at IKEA- but I blame that on I only go once a year and I bought -mainly useful stuff, like pots/pans/lids, wine glass rack for inside the cabinet, planter boxes and flowerpots!! Guess I better get moving and grooving as I scrapped last night instead of cleaned. Oh have to throw treadmill in there- somewhere!

Good morning Laurie- I want to clean up sticks too! I was at Kohls yesterday. My mom bought me a bracelet of crystals and a charm that says Strength. I put that sucker right on my wrist!
Have a great day- sounds busy but fun!

kristy- oh no :( We live right near a a lake too- and I have never been in/on it believe it or not. Would love to have a boat, but way more money than we have.

Trudy- I would love some Vancouver coffee!!!!! Can i come over this afternoon and have some? :D
No sign of the cell phone....... She totally doesn't have the money to buy a new/used one. I can't upgrade mine until July. Ugh....
And yes, we def. have a ghost. Since we moved here 16 years ago- always have weird stuff disappearing and then returning later- much later LOL Lights turn on and off, the thermostat in the basement gets cranked up. Its the dial kind so no one can do it by accident.
Hope that you have another great day and hope that the rain stays away!!

Hi nana!!!!!!!

Sally- Is YMG feeling better today? So nice that the kids enjoyed the museum. I looove museums and can never get there enough.

Meg- love the avi- you look so cute!
nah- the spay quote was kind of my fault. They did give me the correct number when I dropped her off, so I could have brought her back home. But they are just the best over there. I told the vet when I was pg with scott that i wished he delivered human babies LOL
Good luck with house shopping- sooo exciting!

Weddings are more trouble then they are worth sometimes! Hope that you can get it all worked out. Good luck with your PMS- that was me last week and now it is just MS here. :( I don't get so much hungry as shaky- it seems to throw off my blood sugar something crazy, which then means I have to keep eating so I don't shake.

Hi kayleigh!! how is the baby!?

Gotta run. Scott isn';t feeling good, but can't miss another day of health so I told him he could sleep a bit more and I would bring him to school on my way to work.
Cait has a 4-H mtg after school- don't know when.... and I don't know what i making for dinner, so i am just a mental mess right about now.

Hope you have funn today!

Good morning!!!

I don't know if I told you ladies or not...but I have a new added job to my mornings...Traci has moved back to town for now and is living about 5 minutes from me. She still doesn't have a car. She had Jesse switched in his school..and he goes to Cameran's school now. So a bus comes here to pick him up...I am in the county and Traci is in the city...so it won't pick him up at her house. So I have to go get him in the mornings and bring him here to get the bus. I will do this until school is out and hopefully by the time school starts in the fall she will have a car. But I have to say....I feel a bit more energized in the mornings....I guess it's that rush of adrenaline of getting up and and getting ready by a certain time....which I don't have to do with just babysitting...I usually don't get a shower and get dressed until I lay the kids down for their naps...but this week I am up and showered and have Mike's lunch packed by 6:40....I have to leave by 6:50 to go get Jesse. and I love seeing his enthusiam to go to school everyday!!! He loves it!!!

Okay...it's taken me an hour to write this...I need to run for now...I hope to come back for personals in a bit...I have not left you ladies any love in a while!!! But I do love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good morning.....here for a bit before i go and read some more.....twilight has sucked me in for the 1millionth time :)

Good Morning all... I am very excited today because This next month I get to be a quest CT for Molly!! Horray!! More scrapping fun! Hope i can do her proud?? Another dull, grey day out there today and I am off to work at 2:15 to 6:15, I kind of like the closing shift, because I can still do everything I want to do before going to work. Hubby will get supper ready and set the table, I love that man!!

Chris - Ugh!!! More snow:hurt: I would be crying, it is so past time for spring to arrive and get warm!! That is so weird about your strange things happening in your house. Just up the road from us is an older home which has been turned into a great little restaurant and B&B, they have had a resident ghost for many years. She switches around the place settings and plays little tricks on the waitresses and they say they hear her walking around upstairs where the bedrooms are and they know that no one is up there. She dims the lights on them sometimes too. Spooky!!! Makes for great stories for the guest though!! Hope your day goes well!! As for coming for coffee, if you just come to Vancouver, you will still have to hop on a ferry to have coffee with me, but I would pick you up for sure!!! LOL Here is a link to the ghost story of the Quamichan Inn if you are interested in reading it. http://www.canada.com/victoriatimes....html?id=73e635ed-d4d9-4359-8cb5-1e9f65f4d283

Nana Linda - Another job... oh my gosh you are the best Nana ever!! Your daughter is so lucky to have such a great mom too!! I am glad that it makes you feels more energized, that's a bonus!! We love you too!! Have a wonderful day!

Laurie - More :smow: for you too?? Ugh!! Good idea to do all that running around in one day, with the price of gas the way it is, it's best to get it all done in one trip! I don't understand why our prices have gone up so much when we are a big oil producing country here in Canada :noidea:

Kristy - enjoy your book!! I'm afraid I don't quite understand the infatuation with the twilight series, except for the fact that the guys are so good looking LOL. Hope your day is grand!

Hopefully I can get some scrapping time in today before heading to work.

laurie and chris! boo to the snow!!! ugh we are just getting rain now so at least (i hope) the snow is gone til winter!! i really need to get to work on planting my garden!!! LOL cant do that til i know its not gonna freeze again!!!

Hey ladies!! With Addie gone I just don't know what to do with myself. I have gotten lots of sleep though. But I've gotten nothing done I need to since I've had no car. It has been pretty rainy here. My allergies have been kicking my butt and I've been having crazy dreams.

Chris - Poor Scott. I wish he were feeling better. I hope this phase passes quickly. Are you guys thinking about the school at home stuff again? You are right about the months going by so fast. It seems like they are over before they even start.

Laurie - I hope you have some daffodils to plant in your house. That would definitely help with feeling the spring that hasn't sprung. Good luck jean shopping.

Linda - sounds like life is a bit crazy with all the kids. I'm sure Cameron will enjoy having Jesse around more, as will you. I hope things settle for Tracy. Hugs!!

Trudy - how fun to CT for Molly. Have a great time with that. I hope YMG makes you something yummy for dinner.

Kristy - how fun to read twilight again. I only read it once but I could ready Harry Potter over and over.

And I'm out...

Oh what fun I had shopping- all that treadmill has paid off, 2 pair of jeans, one for low shoes and one for the new 4" heels I bought today! I got short cowgirl booties on clearance (going to see Lady Antebellum in August) and Vera Wang on sale! I love kohls shopping. I truly can't believe that I can walk in 4" heels! I did not bring in daffodils, but the sun came out and warmed up the day. I have the hot tub turned up and hope to enjoy stars tonight.

Woo Hoo Trudy for your guest CT month- love Molly's stuff!

Chris- hope you had a good day!
Linda- hope life settles in for you
Kristy- hope you keep the snow away.

Okay...I am back...

I said for personals...but I came to rant instead...

Our Electric company has taken 7 increases over the last 3 and half years....and it's horrible that are doing this. Almost every time they ask for an insane amount like 35 percent....they just take it to begin with...so as soon as they ask for it your bill goes up by that much the following month. Then it takes about 4 months to be regulated and decided by the "SCC or FCC or Whatever" commission decides. So your bill shoots WAY UP and then they never get that much and have to pay back part of it and they spread it over three months giving it back....IT'S TOTAL BS!!!! Well, what it has amounted to is everyones bills are about 45 percent higher now than they were about 4 years ago. Today they are asking for another 9 percent!!!!! It's horrible!!! There has been tons of stories on the news about how an OUTRAGEOUS record number of people have not been able to pay their electric bills. But I don't see them doing anything to cut the unecessary costs...like bonus checks (these are reported all the time). It truely is horrible that we live in such a greedy country that the BIG WIGS of these companies do not care how they are effecting the little people by their Finer Way of LIFE!!! I am beyond pissed off about this. Everyone in my family heats their homes with Electric, except for us (we have natural gas)...so their electric bills have been so far out of reach they are struggling really bad!! It effects us more in the Summer when we start running the AC. But an idea of the increase...4 years ago we were paying about $55 for electric in the winter...this winter we paid $105 (some were more, one was $165, due to those HUGE increases that had not been approved)...and then I have my gas bill which runs about $285 in the Winter. UUUUGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay Rant is over now!!!

sorry to hear about the increases Nana- but I pay 150-300 per month and do not heat with electric here in OH. Although shhh lately it has only been 50 so either they are not reading the meter or I have a major oops- wonder what happens when they discover it- oh I know- huge bill! I'll wait.

OOOH....Laurie...I hope that doesn't happen!!!!! AAAACCCKKK!!!!! It used to be like that with our Water bill...they would estimate and then come read after three or four months...well you know the rest of that story!!!

I know that it is higher in other places...but we live in a small area and are on the very low side of the income bracket....the average income in this area is less than $40,000/year. Everything is cheaper here than other places and this is why...but when the prices start rising to catch up to the BIG CITIES but the incomes are NOT moving...it is becoming a huge problem. I just don't get how they can keep going back for more every 4 to 6 months!!!!!! As published in the paper the FAT CAT of our electric company makes nearly one million per year....now remember what I just told you the average income here was???
