This month is going fast, according tot he numbers, but it feels like it is going backwards with the weather. Cold and snow and yuck!

We had a dusting during the day and they closed school. Wake up to a few inches, everything is covered and not even a delayed opening. The school bd. makes no sense. :loco:

I am glad, i am off to work at MIL's today, it will be good to get out of the house. The last 2 days i was crazy making and labeling stuff for the Craft Fair I am selling at in April 2.
As much as I love making stuff, 8 hours each day on my feet is hard on me, and the concentrated scents give me a headache after a while.

Temptation on Thursday-

Run away to somewhere warm!!!!! Preferable to a white sand beach, with pina coladas round the clock!
(doesn't that sound wonderful?????? Anyone want to join me??)
 
Clara- Yay for your sister visiting! Hope that you have an amazing visit. I can't imagine why you do don't well with (other people's) bossy. :rofl: JK darlin!!!

Kristy- Gardens! So exciting, I usually do tomatoes and some herbs. Can't wait to get my hands in the dirt.

mOrning Chris- hope spring hits your way soon. We too have wintery weather again. But it is short lived. Two nights ago, someone kept pulling into the bottom of my driveway to turn around- which drove my dog absolutely nuts. I put garbage cans at the bottom last night, but the weather was so yucky I am sure whoever was using it as a turn around was not out- appeared to be car repair type people. OH well. I have a huge list so I guess I better get started! Back later

yeah i dont think so....haha at least they haven't with my 13yr old stepdaughter so i am in trouble with 4 girls.....UGH. is all i gotta say about that!




neways was a MUCH better morning....and yesterday after school raianna was being so sweet to her sister!! it was nice to see LOL.....and she woke up in a good mood...and left in a good mood LOL so thats always a plus!! lets hope that good mood sticks around for the long haul!!!

its a cold morning 29 degrees GRRRRRR i want MY SPRING back!!!! it might snow tonight/tomorrow....ugh....
 
Hey ladies! Just gonna post real quick while my sis is in the shower. Today we are going to get everything together for our trip to Myrtle Beach. the weather isn't supposed to be great, but not too bad either. I can deal with it. Much better than snow, so I'll take it. We did get a horrible rain storm last night on my way to the airport. It was not a fun drive but I made it there and back. I was just a little late and apparently they made the planes circle for 20 minutes because they closed the runway down for landing. Crazy.

Well, I'd better run. I will chat later.
 
afternoon all - some cleaning, some scrapping - coming to a gallery near you soon! My hair appt was canceled- so I get to stay home all day- I am loving it!!
 
Hi everyone, just popping in today also... work and a few errands to run, hopefully a walk before I go to work. Trying to get some CT stuff done, but having upload issues on one website Ugh!!!

Chris - Hope your day at the MIL's goes well. I will join you on that beach, pass the pina coladas please!!!

Laurie - Nice that you are staying home, but too bad about your hair appt. I love to get me hair done!!

Jeff's interview starts in half an hour. I'm not starting my day until he's done, I'm praying non-stop for him!!! No idea when he'll hear about if he does get the job permanently or not, but I really really hope that he does!!!!!

My treadmill will get here this afternoon, that's normally when our UPS guy makes his rounds in the neighborhood. I'm waiting on OnTrac to drop off my new cook books, they're never consistent in timing.... one day it'll be 8am the next it'll be 9pm.

I'll be back for personals after the interview and my shower!
 
okay- mr gorgeous and I are applying for passports before the new birth certificate requirements come into play on April 1st- hoping to go on a cruise in Dec when his nephew gets married!
 
Thanks ladies for all of your thoughts, prayers, crossed fingers and toes!!! He got the position & is signing his papers in the morning!!! His paycheck wont reflect the change until he receives his new gaming badge, so we're hoping it wont take the commission two months like it did when he was promoted to Sgt.

Meanwhile my BIL is showing up tonight for the next few nights - very last minute notice, again. I understand that he's immediate family, but uhm, I would still like more notice that I'm going to have a guest I need to take care of and clean up after. Or... so I could make hotel arrangements and disappear until he's gone LOL

So, I stupidly did grocery shopping today for my new diet plan... I know when I get home from work tomorrow there's going to be nothing left. Ugh dislike my BIL visiting soooo much! Anyways - I've been doing simply reduced calories & portion control - because that worked when I did Jenny Craig. Well, that hasn't been working. Now I'm doing six small meals a day, two to three hundred calories each... 1200-1500/day I got two of the Hungry Girl books, and I LOVE THEM!!! I've already done a few recipes, and tomorrow I'm going to do one of her foil pack dinners. I have two appraisals in the midday, so I'm going to need a quick and easy dinner to make :)

The treadmill didn't show up until this evening, so I'm going to try and get it together in the morning before heading in for the appraisals. The appraisal from hell is back, they didn't like the number we gave them in august... too bad for them, because the numbers are even worse this time around :-\ Luckily I don't have to deal with it, but that also means I don't get my double pay, oh well.

PERSONALS!

Chris - You make soy tarts right? I need to make an order from you, I'm totally out!!! Hate you make you stand on your feet more, but there's no one else I'd rather buy from!!!

Laurie - I hate it when people do that instead of a 3-point turn!!!! I know it's not a huge deal, but it makes our dogs go nuts to... which wakes up Jeff...

Kristy - I wouldn't be surprised if it's PMS! I started when I was just a bit older than her. They say girls are starting as early as third grade these days because of hormones in food, like meats.

Clara - I hope your trip goes nicely and the weather behaves!!!! I'm doing good on no sugar... just bought safeway's granulated splenda today :) even managed to make a sugar-less cheesecake treat!

Trudy - you are one rockin CT member!!!! I hope you got all your errands done & the site started behaving for you!!!
