hahah!! Did that make you wonder what the heck I was up to this time?
:pound:

Guess what I did yesterday? I worked, yes. Went to the library..... yes. Had dinner.... yes.....

I will give you a hint. Caitlyn did it to me.

Still guessing?

I dyed the ends of my hair purple.

Really, I/she did.

I was driving home from work, and I remembered that Caitlyn was going to dye the ends of her hair purple. I thought for a moment, I should do that too. Why not? I have nowhere special to go this summer, and it will fade quickly. And if not, its just the ends and will get cut off at my next haircut. When I asked her to do it, she threw her arms around me and said that she had been waiting forever to have me ask her that. I think some of that was for dramatic effect, but who cares? :D So we now have matching blue to purple ombre ends.

I have been teasing the kids that I am having a mid-life crisis, that I am feeling very old, can't pass myself off and a "cool young mom" anymore. Guess this proves that I am still trying.:p

I haven't taken a pic yet, but I will.

Gotta go and get my babygirl out of bed and ready come work with me. Its going to get hot in NJ again, and we are heading to the beach after work.

Have a wonderful day!!!!

Hi laurie- I hope that your hair appt in not with my daughter! :D Have agreat day and stay cool!

Donna- any sign of the heat wave breaking by you?
I know Anna is in CO,but I have no idea where and i know that state is gi-normous. But is she being affected by the wildfires at all? I hope not, the photos are just heartbreaking :(

wow, Kristy- that's scary about the wind and shed. Did you have fun at the water park?

Trudy- wooohooo for mojo coming back!!!!!

Phyllis- any new "news" on the nose? (Dr Seuss anyone?) Again, I hope that they don't find anything serious but they find something easily fixable.

Heather- congrats and hugs on your baby growing up. I hear ya, it goes by way too fast.
Have you considered getting a scanner that does negatives? I have no idea how much they cost, I got mine as a gift many (many) years ago. Its and EpsonPhoto Scanner and it does negatives amazingly well. I have old neg's from the 1940's I have been scanning in. If you have lots to do or don't trust sending them out, it might be a viable option?

nana- So glad that the kids and you had a great day. I saw some of the photos you and Sharon posted on FB. Hope you can put your feet up for a bit today and rest.

Oh Laurie....................
Oh no.........................

(((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))
I have no words other than how sorry I am. He'll be on the Rainbow Bridge, breathing easy and running fine. I'll tell my Harley to look for him.

here is my daily o.....haha....im sick......so it started with a headache yesterday thought it was just from being in the 103 degree heat...well that slowly turned into a sore throat....which ended up being strep throat....karl took me to the er last night...my temp was 102...and thats pretty high for me considering my normal temp is 97.5ish i usually start hallucinating around 103 lol....my throat was really swollen...i couldn't get warm...and if you know me at all....i am NEVER cold...so that right there tells ya something is wrong...haha....so yeah....its strep throat...confirmed...i got antibiotics and they gave me a shot in my arm ( i really can't remember now if it was a steroid or anti inflammatory is there much difference between the two?) anyways that hurt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad....i mean the actual needle was nothing...needles dont bother me at all i even watched her do it but the pain afterwards was so awful....i was literally crying and laughing at the same time cause wow...i told her omg i'd rather go through labor all over again then have that shot ever again LOL....it was that bad of pain....it surpassed any labor pains i ever had...and my wrist/hand went numb for a little bit....lol ugh....and then they wanted me to sign papers...i was like uhhhhh hahahaha of course they had to do it in my right arm!! so it was a very sloppy signature to say the least...anyways at least my arm feels better this morning...a little sore...but i can at least move it now LOL....the rest of me? ehh not so good....headache..dont think i have a fever anymore....throat still sore and swollen but not as bad...so about to have my breakfast of tylenol and antibiotics LOL

Morning everyone... It's very early and I want to be in bed!! I just might have to have a nap sometime this afternoon. MG and I sat out on the deck and enjoyed the sun before supper last night, got to talking and didn't have supper until 7:30 last night. Well then we had things to do, watering the pots on the deck and grass to cut, so that took care of the rest of the evening. Before you know it, it was time to get to bed. Sheezz where did the day go?? :noidea:

Chris - Can't wait to see what your hair looks like!! It sometimes gives you a big lift when you change your hair a bit!! You know what they say... a change is as good as a rest!! Nice that you and your daughter get to spend so much time together!! Hope the afternoon at the beach is good for both of you!!

Laurie - Still sending you lots of love and hugs this morning! Hope you stay cool in the AC at work!

Heather - I have never done negatives before, so can't help out on where to get them done, but I would imagine that Walmart or London Drugs probably does them.

Kristy - Ouch on the Strep throat!! Ouch on the shot in the arm too!! Good thing you went to the ER, strep throat is nothing to fool around with, it can give you heart damage if you don't get it treated right away. Yes your temp. was high as everyones normal is 98.6 , hope that you are feeling better today it sucks to be ill!!

Well gotta get to the shower and get breakfast, off to work for my nice short 4hr shift. Hopefully the sun will be out today, but they are calling for rain later on :pout:
Have a great day everyone!!

Thanks for the tips, i will check out the neg scanner. I have probably 3000 to scan so London drugs etc. would be far too pricey. Can wait to see your hair, Chris! Kiliki I hope you feel better and Trudy that is such a bummer you lost all of your hard work!
Today was a decent day. I had an amazing run this morning, felt like I could have ran forever. Cycled in the evening and took my bike in at the end of my ride for some clunking noise. Turns out i am going to need a new bike soon.
