I will rush in and say hi to you all, in some minutes i have to pick up my mom and my little sister from the train, all stressy here,
was awake with Amelie hours in the night, she was screaming, maybe her teeth, so Im now a little bit tired, but also excitied for seeing my mom, but I hate to drive and Michael is not here. grr

so maybe I wont be able to come over here and post this weekend, while my mom is here.

I'm off to work... just wanted to pop in and say hi... I'm going in early today to try to get some extra time in... Matthew's had almost a whole bottle of pedialyte, with no potty issues since 3:30-ish a.m. yesterday morning so I think it's safe to send him back to daycare... if I can get in the hours, I really need them... he's getting lots of fluids and seems really chipper again, thank goodness...

Happy Thursday my loves!
I am trying really hard to get out of my funk. Not to bore you with all of the details, but I am si tired of feeling completely unappreciated and disrespected by my family.
I work so hard for them, try so hard. Some days it doesn't seem like i can do anythign right for them.
Don't get me wrong. I adore them, they are all really great people. But sometimes, can someone please put Mom/Chris first?
heh, I guess they get *that* from me.

Today I am off to the endocrinologist.
My thyroid levels have been coming up low for a while now.
I also have been experiencing hypoglycemic episodes. I have osteopenia, diagnosed when I was 36.
And my menstrual cycle has been out of whack for as long as I can remember.

This shall be an interesting appt!

The one really good thing- is that this guy is part of my new GP's group. All of my information, blood work etc --including my referral-- is all in their computer system already. This saved me from having to drive in all directions over NJ to get the info.
I know that part of the health care reform- one of the points was to convert medical records into a main system. I can tell you right now, that if this happens, I would be thrilled. You cannot even imagine the stress this relieved for me, not having to worry about gathering all of the paper work.
Thankfully I had a copy of my bone scan from 2003 that showed my loss of bone density. I hopefully won't have to get that redone, unless they want to see any progression.

Harry Potter was really good! There were a few things not in the book and that always bugs me, and they left a lot out. But hey what can you do? Must be hard to try and squeeze 600-700 hundred pages into 2 1/2 hours.

Clara- I guess one good thing about NJ is that we really do get a full range of weater. Avg highs in the summer are are 85 or so. Avg lows in the winter are in the 20's.
But I feel for you- your bodies do get used to certain temps. Hope that it cools off for you soon!
I have another compromise-- how about during Daylight saving time, I get the world, during regular time- you can :lol:

Linda W- You would think I would be used to all of the confusion by now, huh?? Sadly, it seems to add up and push me over the edge. ;0
Ortho appt went "good." Everything is tightened (ouch), new purple elastic bands this time *G*
If things progress they might come off next month! Then, back into retainers LOL

Hey all! tis me again!!! saying 'good morning' to all of you!!! It's 8.57pm downunder and I have just got back from our third and last night of our team get together!! We had a bbq two levels up in the apartment building we are staying in so we didn't have to get dressed up etc. and I only had to catch the elevator down two floors to come 'home'. Its been a full on time down here and I will be so glad to be home tomorrow and back to my own routine, my own bed and pillow! So I am off to have a shower and climb into bed! Caitlyn is also having here "Warriors" Book Club meeting here after lunch and there are a few things we both need to cleaned up before every one gets here.

Chris....Thx...I am going to try the melatonin!! I need something....I just can't keep trying to function on such a small amount of sleep....I feel like crap too!!

Sandra....YAY!!! I am so glad Mathew is feeling better!! Rough way to go for the poor little guy!!

DAWN...MY BUDDY!! Do I need to call these people and get your money back??? I am usually pretty calm and laid back...but things like...my MRS. Hyde comes out!!! That BITES!! Your little DAVY makes me smile!! I don't really care to have animals too much (I have moments..though...I consider it)...but your little Davy makes me want one so bad!! But I am having a hard time picturing a kitty and rabbit playing together

LindaP...sorry your "suprise" didn't happen!! But it's the thought that counts!! I hope you get to meet up with your cousin soon!! KWYM about the baling the lawn...usually by now our grass has slowed down, and only have to mow once every couple of weeks or less....but it's rained so much...it's grows faster than DH can keep up with it!!

LindaS...Buhahahahaha...too funny about the shower!!! I do that to sometimes!!! WE NEVER have nights without a/c after the middle of May!!!

NeeNee...good luck with the move!! Last time I did that for a CO I worked for...I got a spider bite (little bugger got in a box)...turned my whole leg black and had to take off from work for a week....probably shouldn't have told you that...oooops....really it just reminded me!!

Hi Sara.....YAY...glad your computer is not wasted...and YAY YAY you had backed up!! and Hoorah's that your day wasn't "as bad"....so maybe today will BE FANTASTIC!! I just got all the food to prepare yesterday for the shower...it's Saturday...thx for asking!!

Clara...sweetie...if I could blow some cool air your way, I would...we have been pretty hot ourselves...and HUMID...but we are used to it!! Hopefully this system will settle down soon...but I am watching the early show, and I see there isn't much of a break your way today

Ok...so I have to rant about DD's SIL some more!! Ok...if you remember...she is the one who has a baby (he's 11 mo old now) and when Sharon and Geoff (DD and her DH) announced she was pregnant...they immediately started for another and she is pregnant too....(the SIL's baby is a boy, and of course Cameran is a boy...so each with a boy now)...well when DD found out she was having a girl...the SIL keeps squawking about she wants a girl so bad)...well yesterday she found out she is having a girl too....she has worried the crap out of my DD...and right now she doesn't need this stress...she is one month from having this baby, and is miserable...I am think VIOLENCE may be the answer...well...I guess not...but don't you know...I hate that it's bothering my DD so bad!! At the Baby shower the SIL and her mom (DD's MIL) had for Sharon, IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE SIL and her bratty whiny kid!! I was pissed...It was a nice shower...but once everyone was there...they had everyone tell who they were...(usually that's when you say your name and how you know the MOM TO BE)...SIL's response : "I am Gina, and I am Caleb's mommy and daughter to Granny Z (the MIL)" and the MIL's response "I am Valerie, or Granny Z and I am Caleb's Granny, and Geoff and Gina's Mom"

WHAT THE %$^# is that????!!! anyway...I try to overlook these things...but it's hard....I don't show my emotion at all...and try to tell DD it's nothing at all to worry about and that this baby is loved by us all already and what they do makes no difference!! guess that's why I needed to come here and vent it out!! because deep down...it does bug me (mostly because it hurts my DD)


Ok enough....today is finish the laundry day....and HOPEFULLY A NAP!!! Yeah right!!

Hello my friend! I so KWYM about this type thing, I had 4 SIL, 2 left and lived right next to my inlaws who are now deceased. It was horrid, I won't bore you with details but OMGosh, it was hard to keep my head up around here.

I hope things get better, and yes, your new grandbaby will already be soooooo loved by you and your DD that she probably won't even notice the other granny .

Oh Linda - I think your DD's SIL and my SIL could start a soccer team or something. Mine is awful too. I wish that your daughter could be happier with her last month. I know it's so hard with a situation like that though.

morning all of my ofam...i'm a bit overwhelmed today (not enough sleep) but we must trudge on, right? you never know what excitement the day will bring. So i'm off to take a shower in case the day brings an encounter with someone who doesn't want to see me stinky and disheveled!! LOL!! Then it's on to rock band camp, hobby lobby, the library, then home to get the last minute prep work for my stamp club tonight! love you all!!

OMG - my butt is so draggin! I got to work at 7:30 this morning, and I stayed until 6:00... so minus my half hour lunch, I put in a 10 hour day... I would probably do another one tomorrow, but Piper has that kindergarten thing tomorrow so I'll have to miss some... so I might get in 20 hours this week - ugh all this sickness and stuff is killing my paycheck LOL... okay... too tired to type... hope you all had a great day... oh and Matthew is his usual bright, cheerful self!
