Gorgeous looking day here in NJ... sunny skies- and it is going to get hot. 90+* I am working at MIL's today. Gonna get my butt outside early and then clean inside if it gets too hot. I am looking fwd to a few hours of weeding and yard work though.

The lake was fun yesterday until Caitlyn and her friend started to pull me under every time I was int he water :p Nah, it was ok.

Laurie- good for you! Hope that you are able to get all of your fun stuff done today. Don't even *think* about work! :D

Trudy- ITA with letting it slide under those circumstances. Hope the neighbor is a bit more polite to you though. Awesome news about getting your camera back!

Sally- Oh wow- that is awesome about raising that money for Lyme!!!! You are soooo fab!! Remind me to link to your website/blog when I update my F-W website too.
The new dr that Scott will be seeing in August is the head of the Medical "consulting" team (cannot think of the real word for the life of me ATM, but YKWIM?) of the Turn The Corner Foundation, so I am pretty excited about that.
Hope the tea helped your eye and you were able to get lots of work done. And fun stuff too. Today is your Country club- wish I could come down and visit.

Nana Linda- are you feeling any better today? Hope that the kids aren't running you down, cuz I know you can;t stop loving on them :) And you are gorgeous and young!


Linda S- ooooh a night with nothing to do- sounds fab! Congrats on the b-ball win!!! So cute about your kids rooting for your nephew.

morning - why is it when you have to go to work you can sleep forever, but on your day off you wake up at 3:58 with a headache? Took meds fell back to sleep and the dog woke me up at 5:45 barking- arghhh- now I have fuzzy head, so I have been organizing my digi scrap files- trying to get the mojo to do a quick heritage album for some free artscow books I have that expire tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow- busy day- work- rush to a coaching lesson- quick bite for dinner and out to dance-what a great end to the week- no dance tonight-need to practice though for coaching tomorrow- Viennese Waltz- regular waltz on crack as my teacher puts it (fast spinning waltz!)- back later

Good morning O People!!

I have already been to Walmart and then to the country to see Traci this morning!!!

With the O being down last week, I guess I have not told you that Traci was in an accident last week...It's a long story and really too much for my head to deal with AGAIN...but her car is a total loss and she did not have full coverage. So for the moment she is without a car. The good news is no one was hurt very badly...she was sore for a few days, in bed (she did not get to make it to the wedding) but she is much better now.

I am really missing my Little Man (Cameran)...he has been with his other grandparents the last three days!! He had practically moved in since school has been out...as much as I hate sleeping on the couch, I love him being here!! And what that means is, when he stays here, he just has to sleep in our bed, and I hate to make Mike sleep in the other bedroom, since he has to go to work, so they sleep in our bed, and I sleep on the couch....What I don't do for that little man!!!

Well, I better get out of here...I have a couple of laundry baskets of clothes that need folding....among other things....

Morning all... I am off to Victoria to pick up my camera :whoo: so just a quick drop in to say hi and hope everyone has a great day! Also have to see if the camera place can fix my Ipod, I dropped it and cracked the screen :doh: I am such a clutz!! Will stop by later to catch up :wave:

Chris....well some weed pulling for you...I know that makes you happy!!! YAY!!! and good thinking on the getting it done early....it's 11:30 here now and it's HOT HOT HOT!!! :flame: I am good today..thanks for asking!!! Yesterday was a good day actually...Savannah slept most of it..she must be growing!!!
 
arghhhh- I am really not happy with FedEx- I had all my photos that were backed up online burned onto DVD's to save me time and give me 2 backups- the dvd's and online- they charged me $80 for the burning which included 29.95 for fed ex overnight shipping- what they did not say was that it required I be home to sign, so fed ex left a note on monday explaining that a person had to sign- I wrote back and said I would not be home till thursday and had errands to run so what time on thursday- they wrote on the note after 2pm- so i ran errands and was home at 12:45- they came at 11:15 - so I called fed ex # on the paper and asked that they have them come back- 4 hours later I call again and ask what is going on- the woman on the other end needs to understand that I am the customer and I do deserve her to have more personality than a wet fish- anyways I ask for a call back confirming that they will or will not come- ummm still no call- she had nerve enough to say that I could go their center to pick it up-- hello- I work when their open- did I not pay for delivery, not to drive 1hour each way to pick my package up- But my dh to the rescue- he is going to be in that city tomorrow and pay them a visit- and get my package and corporate is going to get an email full of how shoddy their follow up with customers is, as is the company that used them for delivery- I am so livid I will switch online back up to avoid this again.

sorry for the rant- had to get it out- very unproductive day for me
 
Oh Laurie... you and I should get together and strangle someone!!!! I went all the way to Victoria to pick my camera up, took my other lens to try it out and it still is not working :frusty: The guy said that he would look at it again, could I come back in two hours? So I hang out at the mall and go back in 2hrs. its still not working, so I am home with no camera :hurt: So now I am boiling mad and sitting on my deck with no camera and having a corona. Not a good day for me either. I will help you kick some fed ex butt if you help me strangle my camera guy ok?? :boxing:
 
Sure Trudy- I'm having a cowgirl quencher- coconut rum, peach schnapps, pineapple & orange juice, ice and grenadine-mmmmm tasty- since when my I ask did Service become an obsolete word??
