I am so happy right now. I got a little bit of Oscraps good news, and the snow that was predicted didn't happen so no delayed opening for school.
I have my coffee, my O-fam and my morning is rolling along smoothly. *happy sigh*
Yvon- my glasses broke yeasterday too. The screw feel out of the earpiece and i could not get it back in. Thankfully I had ordered them through zenni.com and all I had to do was reorder that pair-- $16 and they'll be at my door in a week.
You are a baaaaad neopet mommy LOL
Eva- your day sounded the perfect blend of family and food
Donna- I love learning, if I could keep going to school forever, I would be thrilled. i think that is why I love reading so much.
Its also great that your mom loves to read too. I saw some research that "Brain games" can really help keep the brain active and is helpful in early Alz patients too.
Oh Phyllis Sorry to hear that the drama sucks
This is for you:
I sent it to caitlyn who loves llamas and is having teen-girl drama. But it is appropriate for all.
kristy- keep up the amazing work on exercising! Nope, you don't want to starve yourself. Not only will you feel like crap, it slows your metabolism down.
Yvon- Scott can't get into a 4 yr school because his grades stink. Well, it is more than that. When he got really sick in middle school, it affected his course load, and his standardized testing, which put him into a lot of remedial classes in 9th grade. he dislikes school- a lot-- even though he is brilliant, so he does as little as possible so he can still pass. For ex. his take on homework is that he works for 7 hours in school, he shouldn't have to do more when he gets home. So he tests well, be every zero grade on homework pulls his grades down.
And for years, my whole focus was trying to get both kids somewhat healthy, and school ended up sliding badly. bad mama for me.
