Daily Ooo's: Thursday February 4

chugga-chugga--- we are getting there, the week is moving on....

How is everyone feeling? The poor O-Fam seems to have been hit by every bug/pain imaginable.
I am hoping for a warm-ish day so I can at least crack the windows and get some fresh air in here.
Thankfully, we haven't been sick as in bronchitis or flu *knocks wood* (could be the fact that we are are so many antibiotics that "regular" bacteria know to stay away LOL!

What is everyone up to today? Any good plans? Anything fun at work?
My mom is coming up today- we are going to grab some lunch and then go shopping at Walmart. I knw!! It is soooo exciting!! ROTF!
Nah, I haven't been out with my mom in a long time, I love getting to hang out with her, and yes, it will be nice to get out of the house, even if it is just to go to Walmart.
Oooohhhh, maybe I'll really treat myself and see if we can hit Tar-jay (Target ) afterwards.....

whine first - work yesterday sucked- well just the part about not having enough time to get my work even half way done- okay whine over

today- errands - dresses to seamstress for alterations, returns to Kohls, pick up shoes from shoe repair, Zoo trip with a friend and her kidlets, dinner for dh, and dance lessons

Andrea- NYX- glad you made it safe- your crappy weather is headed my way tomorrow

I agree reading is important too and it is nice to hear there are still readers out there- with all the little ones I see walking around with cell phones and chatting you have to wonder- wonder if we will change spelling to match txting!?!

I am with YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! That is my temptation too!!!

It's funny, I have been thinking....hmmmm....and my head hasn't blown up yet..HAHAHA!!......anyway...I think that me and my Mr Gorgeous need to get away!!! even if it's just for a night...we are both strickened with the winter blues...BAD!! Both of us seem down and depressed....I am thinking a little time away would do us some good....ANY SUGGESTIONS?? I had Bed and Breakfast in mind....we would not even have to drive out of town for that!! LOL!! All around these mountains there are so many of them in such beautiful serene settings!!

No big plans for today here...babysitting....as usual....But Cameran actually goes back to school today...first day all week...and probably the only day....the snow is suppose to start early AM in the morning. Possible another 8"....

So do any of you have SUPER BOWL plans this weekend?? We don't...given the weather situation!! We usually go to friends that have a get together every year, but she just had major surgery and the weather is going to be so nasty, guess we will just watch from home, and I can fix up some good "eats" for just the two of us!! and be wishing we were in WARM Miami!!!!!!

Okay...gotta go pack DH's lunch and get him going.....be back in a few for some personals!!

Oh....coffee is brewing...so I will have a cup for you all!!!!!!!!!

AndreaB....poor Gen....I hope you found something to make her happy!! WE are all slush too here...but not for long!!! Wow..you Dad has an interesting "hobby"...guess you are right though, lucky for the family he likes to do that, so he is not trying to be Foreman to the whole family all of the time!!!

LindaP....uugghh...more snow for you too!! Gov of VA has already declared a state of emergency for tomorrow and Saturday here!! That is fabulous about your daughter too...and Little House was one of the sets I had for my girl in the first grade!! we still have those around here somewhere!! and wonderful she has a full scholarship...that is a great help to Mom and Dad and no student loans!!

LaurieW...amen on those Cell phones and the little ones..it's ridiculous!! I don't think most kids know how to spell words correctly anymore!! Sounds like you have a nice day planned out!!! Have fun!!

aah, the storm came *while* we were out... we had to get home & get the kids to bed. it was crazy... I've seriously never driven in weather like that. But we made thank goodness. Yes...the weekend away.... yayayayay! and it's a scrap weekend too, I'll be doing my paper books, but I'm bringin the laptop so I can do digi too!!

Off to do drop the kids in child minding then do some solo grocery shopping... sssooooo nice

Andrea Nyx- Oh I hate when that happens- I used ti have ti drive to work over a mountain, past a ski resort- I got into several car accidents that year- and I was pg, no less. Got to the point I would see a snowflake and call in "snow" Glad you made it home safe!

We've had five snow days already this school year. Four in January alone and I haven't even kept track of late starts and early outs! February and March are usually our snowiest months, wonder how much more snow we'll get before winter's over. We have 40+ inches now!
