Hello and g'day to ya my O-Fam I had another totally wacked out day yesterday. My brain feels so disconnected from the rest of me. Or not really disconnected- just that all of the wires are crossed. Disconnected would be eaier I think!
Have any of you ever felt that way? How did you get through it? It is making feel crazy!

Not much to say other than that- unless you want to hear about how much I *love* coffee hehe.

So since it has been a really hard week for Sandra, Amanada and many other Ooo's who migh tbe keeping it to themselves (unlike me who give a daily Crap-Update LOL), I am lifting my coffee mug to make a toast to all of you who have opened your hearts, have said prayers and good thoughts, who have made the O a true place of love and family. quick hello from me... gotta get Will off to school and then I have to shower and head to the hospital... I have to go early today as Will has a music program at school this afternoon... plus my sister is coming again, so I can be home and do some stuff around here... then I'll try to go back later this afternoon after Will's homework is done... I'm close enough that if something happens I should have time to get back to him - I hope

Matthew had to go to the doctor yesterday and has croup and an ear infection... he slept lots yesterday afternoon and he's still sleeping now which doesn't happen often...

Chris - I haven't had time to unload much of anything, but you know you can always tell us anything (((hugs)))

Good morning. School is two hours late today so i'm abnout to head back to bed, because as I've said before I LOVE to sleep and don't care if my day ticks on by. LOVE TO SLEEP!! MORE SLEEP!! haha!

There's no snow on the ground or anything, so I bet it is a bit icy. There's really not much going on here today though. So many people are sick around here. I hate flu season. I'm busier at work, which is nice but I'd rather people not be sick. All the chest x-rays I'm taking all look yucky too. I took a very interesting x-ray yesterday though. This poor lady broke her hip, but not in the way most people do, so she was still walking aroung and stuff, it just hurt her a lot. It freaked me out though and I wouldn't move her off of the table until the doctor said I could. It was not the normal x-ray for a clinic, that's for sure.

Well, I want to head off to bed. Thanks for the coffee and cookies Chris. That's the best way to start out my day. I'm sorry you are having a cranky week though. I hope it starts getting better.

Sandra - I am absolutely amazed at how you are balancing your life with everything going on with your dad. You are a great mom.

Hey my sweet sweet Ofam!!!

I'm just hanging with a friend this morning to teach her the ins and outs of blogging! and then this afternoon Lillian has an eye appt!! she will sooo love that she will be able to see again!! heehee... otherwise, a relaxed day! yay! nothing but American Idol results tonight!! what a lame group!! was that just me??? they put all the great ones in the first group!! anyway...let me tell you how I really feel!! heehee!!!

chris, hugs, hugs...and YES! My brain disconnects ALL the time!! I get very frustrated. So I'm grooming Emma to be my personal assistant...I WISH!! she's a bit young yet!! heehee...thanks for the cookies!! yay!! no cal sugar....love it!

clara, i'm soooo facinated by your job!! I can't imagine what it'd be like to see the insides of people all the time. Really neat as long as there isn't any blood!! heehee!! Enjoy that wet cold weather up there...and remember, I've got a guest room if you need to get warm!

and to my sweet Os...have a WONDERFUL day!! put your feet up...enjoy a bottle of MetroMint water (my newest addiction!)...NO calories!!!!

Hi everyone, not much happening here. But that's a good thing. Looking forward to the weekend and getting caught up around the house. Things seem to slide during the week with work and daycare, etc.

Chris - thanks for the cookies. hope today's a better day.

Sandra - thinking of you! ITA with Clara - you are amazing for juggling everything.

Clara - enjoy the extra couple hours of sleep. I used to love snow days when I was in school! hehe. Now that I work for the schools, not so much because our central offices are usually open if there are delays/closings for the schools.

Sally - I am the same way about being able to see the insides of people. One of my favorite parts of working in a clinic is being able to show people what they look lik eon the inside. There are so many things about our bodies that most people don't know. Like when our bellies hurt it is generally your intestines that are upset not your stomache. If I lived closer to you I would love to give your kids a class about anatomy. It is so much fun. The greatest part ablout x-ray also is that there isn't a lot of blood. Especially not in a clinic, although I do love an occasional trauma series where there is usually all sorts of nastyness. I do love working in the ER. If I lived closer to Seattle I would get a job at the major trauma center ina second. But the 1.5 hour commute is a little too much. Hey are there any army bases near Houston? The only base I know kinda where it is at is Ft. Sam Houston by San Antonio. I don't know where Ft. Hood is at, although I should. And I know Ft. Bliss is by El Paso. Texas has lots and lots of military. I'll remember your extra bedroom. I'll keep it in my mind everytime I get cold.

Hey girls!

How is everyone today? My day has been cleaning cleaning cleaning, mopping, laundry, dusting, vacuuming...ugh. I just got on a roll I guess, and Nico was so super easy going today i had to take advantage. So, now he is napping as is my husband who is on a day off, so I'm going to go get dinner started soon. (just prepare it so its ready to bake later) Im trying a Chicken Cordon Bleu recipe (spelling?) that my friend gave me. sounds yummy, and its baked. So, ill let you know how it goes! Just have to figure out what else to serve with it.

I just saw the TaylorMade insider and I am off to get that clearly stuck tape she has for 30% off...i think its awesome! She is also having a CT call but I'm way too intimidated!! LOL! I need much more practice. maybe next time.

Chris - Im sorry you are having a weird time. I totally get that disconnected feeling sometime. I am sending you a virtual hot steamy yummy vanilla Latte with cocoa sprinkled on top. Yum! (or chocolate if thats more your deal!)

Sandra - I agree with Clara you are way stronger than I am, and you are a fantabulous Mom!!!!!...like the energizer bunny just going and going. Take a few moments for yourself, you really deserve it. We are all still praying for you and holding u in our thoughts.

Clara - I TOTALLY hear you on the sleeping. I love and adore my little Nico man but geez what I wouldn't do to sleep in till like 10 or even 11 just one day.........sigh.

Sally - Very cool video!!! You are awesome !!!!!!!!

ME - no idea where Feb. went....cant even believe it! Hope your day is going well.

Also - I had to just mention this because I thought it was kind of a funny thing- last nite I was in the gallery because Im trying to up my post count, I really want to get to 1000. Anyway I had a thought - Its so funny that after only a few months, I look at pages and before I even see who the scrapper is, I know sometimes because I recognize the kid!! Like I recognize immediately Ella,Boden,Jacob (Tali), Cora, Lil, Quentin,Emma (Sally) Ethan (Clara) Christian(ME) etc., etc. and on and on. I just thought it was a funny observation. anywhooo......

Yes, I'm still here Just have been so busy with stuff at school and National FFA Week that I've hardly had time to check in here. Hopefully things slow down some now I uploaded my fourth mini kit for the designer challenge today. I can't believe how much I am learning! I'm having so much fun and am getting terribly addicted

Chris - I get wires crossed all the time! I think it's from hanging out with too many high school kids!
Sandra - sorry to hear that Matthew is sick. Last think you need right now is a sick child. Still parying for your family!
Clara - I'm so jealous - we had sleet, freezing rain and snow this morning and not even a few minutes of late school start I was so hoping for a snow day!
Sally - I'll have to check out American Idol - I watched one of the early episodes when they were still narrowing down the finalists. Have a good day bloggin!

hi girls. not typing a lot. klutzy me, tripped and fell and almost broke both my wrists. clara i thought of you as my wrists got x-rayed. they are not broke just a bad sprain, but my right one really hurts. i can type decently with my left, but the painkiller is kicking in. talk to you all tomorrow!
