:yo: wow everyone is on the run today as well as me...busy day for everyone with last minute things to finish. Enjoy the madness everyone. Hopefully will be here later today with more to chat about!

always chatty at the O!!
where is everyone? i am in ohio...somewhere with no radio signal. we have 2 hours to go. whoohoo. we should have one hour to go but my smarty pants husband decided he couldn't drive on the highway because it had lights on it...even though it was 5 in the morning. so he decided to try a different way without checking it out on a map. so as i watched the gps add more and more time to our trip i finally grabbed the atlas and saw that the freeway he was insisting on taking took us east instead of west. so, we added an hour to our trip due to his silliness. but he'll deal with the hwy in the future i guarantee it.
so, last night i was up late gabbing on the computer, hearing and reading about the horribleness of peoples kits getting sold from china by ct members. horrible greedy people. being a ct member should be considered an honor. it isn't about free products or what you get but that a designers likes how you scrap and thinks you could showcase their designs. how do people not get that? anyway, after reading that until all the broken english made me crosseyed i finished packing and got a couple of hours of sleep. then we left just before 5. so early. then i slept and slept.
did i tell you my painting came put pretty good? i just have to figure out a stinking tree? i'm artistic and creative 3 dimentionally generally or with craft stuff. give me a pen or pencil and a kindergartner would beat me in an art contest. derek has some good ideas though so we'll see what happens. wish me luck. i meant to plan better but i am the queen of procrastination.
well, i'd better go. i'll check and see if anyone else stops in later.

laurie - i swear by advil cold. it takes the swelling out of your head along with the congestion...but they sell it behind the counter because it has sudafed in it. big hugs for you too.

Someone posted in the thread that there's O Scraps stuff that was stolen... but the list of things I saw didn't have any O Scraps stuff, there was one designer who's currently a guest, but idk other than that.

I'm working on designing more stuff before leaving for my family's place next week. I'm trying to do a New Year's kit, but keep hating everything I start. I just picked out the color pallet for my last try... crossing my fingers!!!!!!
So, I'm ignoring the craziness my mom texted me several days ago... and still sending her little random messages every now and then. Just little things to show that I still think of them, and not in a negative way. This morning I posted this video on her facebook page, because she's well... obsessed with Snoopy & Peanuts:

We'll see what happens, I'm no longer doing the gifts I was going to do for them, because I have a feeling she'll just destroy them.

Swinging through after a very busy couple of days. But all shopping is done and Sydney and I got our nails done. About half of the packages are wrapped. I need to get the grocery shopping done for Christmas dinner...think I may go back out tonight after supper to finish that.
Mom has lost so much weight this fall that her clothes weren't fitting. So I went out yesterday and got her Christmas gifts early. She tried them on, and only one thing didn't fit so I took it back and got some more things today...gifts from Dad. She was so happy...gave her a big lift. And everyone is going to church tomorrow night together.

Sorry that we have so many sickies here. The kids have been coughing and so I stopped at Target to get cough medicine. Had to get my drivers license out to be scanned so that I don't buy enough to make meth. Sometimes the state of affairs in this country just makes me so sad!
