Happy Thursday!

Oh man, I could not get over all of the snow we had yesterday. So much fun having everyone in the house with me while I was trying to work Buhahahah! I tripped over the dogs in the hallway, lost my balance in the kitchen and dumped hot soy wax all over me, the stove and the floor. Oh well...

Linda W- i hear ya on the shopping, I am sooo far behind it ain't even funny. I placed a small order at kohls.com but really needed yesterday to go out and hit some stores by myself. Tomorrow, Gary Scott and I are going to the mall but that means I can't shop for them.
I am having a hard time getting into the holiday spirit too- guess that means we need to keep on singing!

omgosh, i haven't taken the time to drop a line in here the last few days!!

GUESS WHAT?? 15 more days!! yipee!!!! I have 15 more days!!!!! until I get to celebrate my favorite holiday!! yay!!! (am i helping??? just sayin'...)

So yesterday, I sent my Christmas cards to 73 people...I have about 20 more to email...and then I have the O batch to send!! I'm gonna do all of that today! I'm excited! I haven't sent my cards in three or so years, even though I've made them, done the pictures and everything. So this is a major victory for me!! yay!!!

Today I also need to clean up my house and make my gift list. I just know my list is bigger than my budget. I was doing well until i didn't factor in shipping and stamps...Sigh...oh well!! Tis the season for GIVING!!! yay!!!

Also, I just want everyone to give their families BIG hugs today...just because!! Tell them it's cause Momma Sal (that's what my BFF's kids call me!) told you to!!!

Can you tell I'm waking up in a fairly good mood today???? Okay...I have to fix some stuff on my blog this morning and send out the email exchange list...so I'm off...

Chris, i love your enthusiasm!! and I'm here singing!! You should have heard my Santa Baby last night!! not quite Marilyn Monroe or Eartha Kitt, but close!!! LOL!!! LOVE it!!!

Do you want to know what isn't fun when you are trying to get outdoor pets fed quickly and then drive into town to work since you are already running behind, A wild kitten running into the house!! I spent a good 30 mins trying to get this kitten to go back outside. Finally I trapped it in a room opened a couple windows then scared it to death trying to grab it and it flew out the window!

On the agenda tonight I believe is Christmas shopping with my mom assuming the weather cooperates. I would have went last night but the winds were too strong and I drive what I like to call a "baby car" since it is so small, so she didn't want me driving in that weather.

As for Christmas cards, I need to make those, (were the addresses sent already? I didn't get that yet.)

Okay, nearly lunch time, so I'll be back later to do some personals and do another huge gallery run since I have a lot to go for my goal! I also need to make a family tree page!

Hey guys!! I have been trying to post all day today but it just hasn't happened. I'm trying to get my Christmas cards together and write a Christmas letter and all that stuff. I just got my addresses finally together. Not sure how many friends I have unlike Sally. LOL!!

So, last night was an interesting night. I had my church small group like I do every Wednesday. At the end of the group we decided we wanted to pray specifically for one of the police officers who was killed and her family because she had lived 3 doors days from where our small group is held every week. Being a member of our community really brought it so close to home for us. So we all prayed for them and then our group leader thought it would be nice if we wrote a note to the family just to let them know we were all praying for them. So we did that. The couple whose house we were at both got all weirded out and were bickering back and forth about who was going to take the note so I offered to take it. I walked over and knocked on the door. The man who answered was a very friendly looking man and answered with a woman who looked like a grandmother type. Either his or her mother I'd assume. He asked if I had brought meals. I told him I hadn't and handed him the note and explained that we had written it and told him half of what the note said. He was so humble and gracious and said that it meant so much to him as though it meant more than anything else. I felt so blessed to have been able to be the messenger. My friend Sam who should have been the one to have delivered it with her husband was kinda bummed she was being a scaredy cat after I told her about it. I was too, but I was glad to have had the experience. I am still so heart broken for those families. Such senseless violence.

Well, I'd better go. Piano lessons for Ethan soon. Oh, I made Derek take Ethan to get pics at Walmart. Simple methods of torture for husbands. LOL!! He says he will never do it ever again. It was painful. I love it. The pics didn't come out so wonderful, but they were cheap and the one pic that was expensive was very cute, so it is all good.

Chris - hot wax all over you? Not fun. And snow? I do not envy you Hate the snow, but I'm not liking the cold either. I took a breath in this morning and got a cold spot in my nose that would not go away for an hour this morning. It was horrible. I swear it made me sneeze at least 100 times. And I don't know where Addie Paddie got her hatred of mornings from it couldn't possibly be from her mama. I love mornings. they are the bestest. Okay who am I kidding. Mornings are the worst. Mornings are for sleeping!!

Sally - So, you have 73 friends so far, huh? Are you bragging? LOL!! I almost have mine done too. I have my slave labor sticking address labels right now as we speak. I love child labor. It rocks. YOu are just now making your gift list? I am almost done. I only have a couple of things left. Whoohoo! I need to figure out what size poster the Michael Jackson poster I got my sister is and a couple other little things and I'll be good to go. Yay!! So excited.

Elisa - Did I hear something about a grand opening?? Whoohoo for grand openings!! I need to put some stuff up in the gallery. If you haven't checked out her blog...HELLO!!!!!!! Gorgeousness!! Get on it and do some buying for yourself. Amazing products!!
