Good morning my O-Fam! It is bright and early (tooooo early) for me. We are off to the Lyme dr for the kids. I just had to get them up (yes, it is 6:15 EST) and no one seems to be happy about it.
Gary can't go- he is on two new meds and they are kicking his butt. But- that is good- means they are working! I always have to remember that.
He is devastated though- he feels like he always is herxing when the kids have their appts.
Thankfully- my mom is ready to roll, and will drive from her house to the dr. since she is half way there.
My sciatica is acting up, so there is no one I could drive 2 hours each way.

Before I have to ruin, can I tell you all a secret?
Scott has a girlfriend. From what he says, she seems really nice. I hope that I get to meet her. They have been friends for a long time at school so I hope it goes smoothly for them both. Or at least as smoothly as it can when you are 13!

Gotta run, will try to get back for personals before I leave. But if not, xoxoxoxo to you all!

Good morning Chris! Give your mom a hug from the O-Family! She's obviously a super lady! Give Gary a hug to because I know how hard it is when you don't feel like you are able to do enough for your kids! How cute about Scott's girlfriend!

Linda W....glad that the squirrels are taken care of! Animal workers only deal with domestic animals. Geez...I can deal with the domestic animals thank you very much!

Sandra...seems so early to have sick kids! Does that mean we're in for a long winter?

Sara, saw that you lost your post. That's actually why I'm doing it in multiple posts this morning...just don't feel up to losing my work this morning! So glad to hear that Ben likes the new daycare!

Andrea, how cool is it that you are going to not have a bunch of student loans with the education! Very exciting stuff!

Dawn and Ona, love the cat and mouse stories! Clara, the Dave Ramsey stuff sounds great. You'll have to keep us posted.

Last night we went school shopping. Still didn't get the dreaded shoes. But we went to Children's Place. I love that store. Sydney wouldn't wear any dresses last year. But last night, she was totally into cute clothes...including dresses and skirts as long as they had leggings! She is so darned cute if I do say so myself. And Shaun was trying to match her in things purchased. But the truth is that I love girls' clothes more...so Shaun was mainly getting what he needed (unless you count the sweater vest, the pair of warm up pants and the cap) and Sydney was mainly what I thought made her look cute (which was everything)! And she loved them...enough so that she modeled them for my parents.

Ok....hope everyone has a splendid day. I'm in offsite planning meetings for 2010 for work! Ugh...those days can take forever!

Good Morning Girls!

Ugh! I have been soooo MIA! I have missed you all! And now I am leaving on Saturday for a trip to my parents so I won't have time to be online much then either.....I am so going to have withdrawals.

OH Linda - I LOVE school clothes shopping! My girls are all old enough now where they pretty much just pick everything on their own and all the clothes these days are just so cute! That's about the only reason I wish I were young again....to wear the totally cute clothes! LOL

Chris - Glad to hear that hubby is finding something that works for him! Now, we just need for him to get that disability, eh?
Oh.....13 year old love....... hope it goes well for them too. keep us posted!

I am off to workout and shower and do some house cleaning today. have to get the house ready before I head out to visit my parents.

Oh...btw....my baby girl got braces on Tuesday and she is so stinkin' cute! She looks like my baby again. Which I love and she hates! But, she got a palette expander and it is driving her crazy and keeping me sad all the time for her. But, I hear it gets better after a few days.......I can't wait til she can swallow and eat normal again! ugh!

Hi ladies....Just a quick one..I have been a nervous mess since yesterday...UUUGGGHH!! between the squirrels, Traci not taking her meds like she should (not good for the two of us communicating)...(for those of you who don't know...she is bi-polar) we have had a really bad couple of days....she seems calmer today...thank goodness....and then Sharon gave me a scare thinking she was going into labor...she was up all night with contractions and pressure....she went to the dr this morning and they said she may or may not be in labor and sent her home to rest and drink lots of water....her due date is not for 5 more weeks...but her C-section is scheduled in 4 weeks....Both of Traci's kids came early...(Jesse 2 months)...so I know what a nightmare it can be.......

Anyway...that's it for me....I am going to try and read....I bought My Sister's Keeper a few weeks ago....and haven't started it! I better get reading....so I can at least have it done by the time the movie is out on DVD!!! LOL!!!

Good morning ladies. I hope everyone is doing great. Things here are good. I am taking Addie to my parents tonight so DH and I will have the house to ourselves until Monday. I don't know what in the world we will do with ourselves. It will be nice though.

Well, I am going to head off. I want to get some scrapping done. I have just been so unmotivated. I need to get on it today though. I'll try and come back later for some personals. I'm in a blah mood today. I do have plenty to say to all of you though, so I will try and come back.

Poking in to say hello!!! I've been back to work and we went on vaction last week so I am trying to get into the swing of thngs again.

My little man itsn't very little anymore...he was 15 pounds at his two month check up. He looks like a little sumo man with all of his rolls because he isn't very long . Especailly since I've switched to cloth diapers, his belly hangs over them...too cute. We are having some friends over in a bit and I am going to catch a nap before they get here. Hugs O's.

Linda~ I love Childrens Place too they have the BEST sales I think its the only store that I actaully buy new clothes at. I am a big resale shopper for my kids with their fast growing ages. Kalin is still shooting up!

Hi all, popping in for a quick hi. Mom and I are going to the local theater which will be broadcasting the DCI Quarterfinals tonight. I'm so excited -drum corps!!! It's been 19 (!) years since I marched, but I just love it. So DH gets to do bedtime with DS. Ha! I wish them luck *evil laugh*.

We're off on vacation next week. Dad's boss has a beach house and has given Dad access to it while the boss is on vacation in Canada. Woo hoo! It means a week with my Dad who can get on my nerves, but it will be good for DS to have some extended time with his grandparents. DH will be down on the weekends, but he's short on vacation time, so he can't stay all week.

Chris - I'm sorry to hear that Gary's not feeling well again. I hope the kids have good appointments.

LindaS - I can't wait to do school shopping with DS. He won't care much, I'm sure, but after all the hand-me-downs he's had the past few years, it would be fun to pick out something "new" for him. He's only got one year left till he's in Kindergarten!

LindaW - Sounds like a tough few days. Stop now - take a deep breath!

Clara - Have fun this weekend with DH and no kid in the house!

Hey my darling OFam!!!

I am officially just HANGIN' right now...I have NO responsibilities today...none whatsoever...just to veg and scrap and play! cora and I did some power shopping today - Hobby Lobby, Barnes and Noble, and Target. I go to Hobby Lobby once a month and get something fun to create a new mantle showcase. So i got some sunflowers to go with some awesome pics I took while at my sister's friend's garden party that she had. So i'll build my mantle decorating around Sunflowers...sounds perfect for August, huh??

Then at barnes and noble i picked up the Kite Runner...haven't had the guts to read that, yet, but have heard great things about it! cora got her next book in her fave series - the Warrior series. And we picked up some classics for school, Beowulf, etc...LOL!! I love barnes and noble!! and I got to use my educator's discount! LOVE that!!

at Target, i kinda went crazy!! I got three long dresses, cause they are sooo cute, and I've lost enough weight to not look dumpy in them (at least I hope I don't!! LOL!!). and my main reason for going there was to get hanging file folder boxes for the kids to put their assignments and papers in all year. This will be a new system for them, but I think it will be great for our curriculum! I was fairly organized last year, and so I'm motivated to kick it up one more notch!! yay!!

btw, did I mention that my kids (except Lil - 7yo) did really really well on their Stanford Achievement Testing? I was soooo thrilled!! cora tested post high school in every subject. So when i was telling mr gorgeous about summer school and how it was majorly stressing us ALL out, he grabbed the test scores and said...I think you're okay!! LOL!! so we are off school until the day after labor day! yay!!! we are all sooo much nicer to be around right now!! LOL!! Cora will have to start geometry on the 17th, so she'll be done with math at the beginning of may next year! cool, huh? (my neighbor is teaching her while teaching her own daughter! yay for my neighbor!!!)

can you tell i'm not in a rush to go anywhere??? LOL!!!

I went into the recording studio yesterday and had a blast singing on a couple of songs. I've had about 4 vocal lessons and the difference is amazing!! Loving THAT!!

okay...enough about me...I'm gonna post some posts to get my count up!! heehee...at least i'm admitting it!!

Linda, the Children's Place used to be Cora's fave store until she grew out of it (last year!! heehee!!!). And isn't it a wonderful JOY to have a girlie to dress up? My lillian won't wear anything but dresses right now - so sweet!! Hope your mtgs are non-painful!! take care, my darling!!

ohhhh Karen, you are gonna love your vacation!! And I love the whole idea of leaving my kids with Mr Gorgeous!! LOL!! when i went to Alaska a couple of weeks ago, i called him every night to check up on him. He said...they watched sponge bob all day!! LOL!!! crazy men!! gotta love them!! hope your Drum Corps competition is AWESOME!!!

Hi all!

I'm a little pooped today. I worked all day and have plenty of computer stuff to do tonight as well.

So...I hope no one minds if I skip personals tonight. Even though last night my computer conspired against me to post personals too. =)

DH is working late. So I fully admit that I am parking my child in front of the tv. Martha, Phineas and Ferb, Dora, Curious George. Those are his choices. =)

Well...I'm going to get a move on and try and get the last grading done, the AR data entered and corrected, the library data updated.........oy. Someone check in on me around midnight and tell me to go to bed! =)

So, I have a headache, but I think it is because my sister has my glasses. I left them in her purse at the Kenny Chesney concert. I won't get them until Monday. Lame. I see fine but my eyes have to work harder to see. I used to get tired but now I think I get headaches. Blech!!

BUT...I am officially kidless until Monday. Whatever will I do with myself. I think dh is going fishing, so not only will I be kidless but all alone to do anything I want. I can totally deal with that.
