hellooooo!!!
I am going to make this super quick. My hiking buddy, Stephanie, texted me a few minutes ago and asked me the best question ever. Instead of doing the 7-mile hike, how would I feel about doing a shorter one-- 4 miles? heck yeah! She has a bad headache and didn't feel up to the large group hike. We are meeting a little earlier so I need to get ready and be out of here in an hour.
This is much better for me as well. I am sure I could have done the 7 miles-- I realized that I'm averaging 4-5 miles when I am at work. Granted not the same elevation and at a slower pace but also carrying several bags of teaching supplies.
I had one of *those* days yesterday and this will help clear my head. My brother called about my parents (not doing good at all), my dr appt went as expected (waited an hour to see the dr and he put me on meds for osteoporosis and wants me to see a Rheumatologist to discuss IV osteo meds), BFF's finally got her biopsy results and it is cancerous. And Gary is taking Tindamax this week and that is always a difficult one.
Hopefully, I'll get some good scrapping photos today and Stephanie and I always chat nonstop. But I need to get dressed/breakfast and my backpack filled up. Since it's just the two of us (not guided by one of the SAR groups or Scott who is local SAR) I should bring my bigger first Aid kit, just in case....
have a fab day and I'll be back later or tomorrow to catch up!
