Happy weekend, O-Fam! Did everyone get to sleep late this morning? I woke up at my normal time but stayed in bed until 6.
Yesterday was kind of a bust of a shopping day but that was pretty much what I expected. It is hard to shop when you don't know what to get people. Caitlyn picked up some of the supplies for the hand-lettered greeting cards that she is making for the open house. It felt really weird being in a paper-scrapbooking section of a store. It has been a long, long time and I thought I might miss it but nope, I didn't. Digital is so much better!
Question for you-- how much would you pay for a hand-lettered Christmas card? She was thinking of charging $1 each but I think she could get more than that. Etsy has them around $4-5 each or a pack of 5 for about $20 but I don't think that anyone around here would pay that much.
We *cough Gary cough* aren't doing the dog treat shelves. The basement is getting much cleaner- Gary is doing a fantastic job but the woodworking area is still not very navigable. And we never got the supplies, so that will get tabled for maybe next year.
I would love to have him cut some of those wine holders that he did last year, he has the "blanks" cut so all he would need to do is shape, sand, and stain them. I would even do the sanding and staining but not the cutting, no way.
I was feeling a bit off. I had nightmares the night before about my appt with the breast surgeon this upcoming week. I dreamed that she told me the spits were cancer and they were going to Stage it soon. Darn it, the spots are just that. No way of knowing anything at all about them at this point but wow, my brain likes to work overtime while I am asleep.
Today, I am going to remake the lotion bars and then label everything that I have done so far. Then, maybe I can work on some fun scrap things? Maybe??
Have a fantastic day!
