Good morning ladies!! :) Ohhh it's Monday!! A fresh start to another wonderful week. A week filled with work, dinners, school days, soccer practices, soccer games, meet the teacher night, Food show, more work and alot of scrapping. Really how complete is my life ;) I will be back later with more ;)

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT's a new week and it's NOT LAST WEEK! HAHAHA!!!

It's raining today...It rained yesterday...they are saying rain for tomorrow!!! The temps have finally dropped a little bit here..so it's not so miserably HOT...should not complain though, as I hate winter time!!!

Okay...I started this over an hour ago...and don't have too much here...better wrap it up!! HAHAHA!!!

LOVE TO YOU ALL!!!! HAVE A FABULOUS DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Happy Monday everyone... just a quick stop in here for me also, as I have to go to work soon. Only a four hour shift today so that is great!! I am hoping they will stay that way. :rain: here for us too Linda. Oh well it is fall isn't it? Hope everyone has a great day and will be here later for personals.

Morning!! Yes it is raining too here in Bloomsbury. NJ. We're going to pick up a load this afternoon in Belvedere and it is going to Michigan (but we're not!). This load doesn't deliver til the 29th or 30th which is too much time for a team to sit on so we're dropping it in the Chicago area so a solo driver can take it to Michigan. So who knows where we'll go after that.
Did some scrapping for a CT last night so I can't show it yet :)

Last night we had dinner in the truck stop here and I think I did confuse the cook LOL
I asked for chili (it's chili weather!) but wanted them on top of spaghetti noodles. He had never had anyone ask for it like that....well it's very good!
So he asked the waitress to ask me where I was from. Well I'm from the Netherlands originally but we don't eat it like that either. They have Chili 5-way ! Steak 'N Shake is where I got addicted to it :eyebrows:
But he had never heard of Steak 'N Shake either. So maybe TA will now serve Chili 5-way? ;)

Not much else going on so I wish you all a great day and catch up soon!!

OHhhhh good morning my imaginary BFFs!!! :)

It's Monday and I'm raring to go!!!! I got up at 5:30AM (yep, you read that right...not a typo!!!) and took Mr Gorgeous to the airport! This is week 2 of his 4 week barrage of traveling. They are going LIVE next week which is why he has to be there all this time. Feast or FAmine, right???

So, God gave me a gift of a gorgeous day out today!! in the low 80s later...sunny and breezy...low humidity (what???? houston????) and it's absolutely GORGEOUS!!! LOVE that!!

Today I'm going to Ikea to get some dish towels and look in their warehouse section for fun stuff to use to display stuff for my craft shows...I better get going...Krista is talking to me about fabrics for her fun Santa blankets that I'm whipping up for her...my kids are going every which way...i was registering Cora for the PSAT...all of a sudden my brain was full!! teeehee!!

LOVE you guys!!! have a wonderful Monday!! every stinkin' one of ya!! :)

Good afternoon! Today was completely thrown off day. Addie had an eye appointment and it had to be first thing in the morning apparently. But because of the stormy weather Derek couldn't ride the motorcycle so he came back and did school with Ethan until I came back. But we are changing things up a bit and I made a bunch of worksheets for him but didn't have any printer ink. So they had to wait until I got home with ink to do anything besides spelling and math. By then Derek had let Ethan start watching a movie and getting him remotivated after that was quite a challenge. Now we are doing reading and he has to do vocabulary and it is reminding me of elementary school when I had to look up words and put them in my own words. Eeeek!!! I remember fighting with my mom tooth and nail about doing the same thing as homework. Right now we are reading the Chronicles of Narnia and starting with The Magician's Nephew. It is set up to go through the whole series in a year but there is no way I can get that little boy to do everything to go with it...all the vocab, and other various activities at that speed. I still need to have him assessed for ADD. The doctor I have been assigned to has no openings until November for new patients which is just not acceptable so I have to force them to find someone else for us. This is the downside of military medical coverage. It will all be covered when we get it taken care of but until then it is a pain.

Well, I'm sure I could write more, but I need to go and see if Addie is tearing up my upstairs. Ugh!! She's been doing a lot of that lately.

Chris - I hope your computer stops acting up. Isn't it new??

Laurie - sounds like a nice little weekend getaway. I need one of those to just relax and chill. I'm getting a weekend getaway in October but there will be a lot of drinking and late night and not very much relaxing. But it will be fun.

Linda - it sounds like you might be catching on to Sally's Monday thing. It is a new week which means ne beginnings, right? I hope this is a better week for you. Hugs.

Hi Trudy. I hope you had a smooth 4 hour shift. I hope you didn't put all of your umbrellas away or your raincoats. I always thought the concept of putting summer and winter clothes away was strange because I would wear most of my winter clothes all year. Although I wouldn't wear summer clothes throughout the year I didn't have a huge collection of them. I guess I'll have to start getting used to that concept now. We're still in summer clothes now though.

Petra - I know about 3-way chili and 5-way chili. I believe it is from Cincinatti. with a huge giant pile of cheese on top. I don't love chili without beans though, but I love the chili on spaghetti. I believe in Cincinatti Skyline is the place to go, but I am not sure.

Sally - there is an end in site to the madness. Yay!! I am so glad you were blessed with a gorgeous day to day...and that you got a nap. Love it. Now the countdown to YMG's return begins. Whoohoo!!

Alrighty...I've got Addie cleaning her room so we can watch a movie. Love you guys!!
