Yay for nice weekends!
I hope everyone had a relaxing time, like I did. I got to sleep in, hang with my kids, and scrap (in between laundry/dishes/etc), but its all good!
I got really cranky at dinner time and was crabbing at everyone, but then, it passed.

So back to Monday again, and here's to a wonderful new week.

I have a few more drs appts- today is the endocrinologist for the follow up on my bone density scan.

Linda W- how are things with your S-DD? Is she the one that your DH had to talk to about being a ... um.... not cleaning up after herself?
Hope you all had a nice rest of the weekend.

NY/NJ people are probably a bit happy and a bit sad- Yay Yanks, boo Giants :)

Me Me Monday- I already had two of my nice purple fingernails chip :( It was all those dishes - even though I wore rubber gloves... ;)
I am going to try and see if the dollar store has a color close to it to ptach 'em up.
I know- way too exciting :oops:
 
Good Morning O Family!!!

It's a good Monday!!! It sounds good when you say it that way!! LOL!!

I alreadys spilled about my weekend! So let's hear about yours!!! I only have Savannah today...so we are going to visit my Mom for a little bit today...plus I have to get a B-day present that I forgot to pick up over the weekend!!

Chris...oh yes...sort of a bittersweet situation with the NYY and NYG!!! and the S-DD that came up yesterday was the middle daughter...she doesn't give us any problems...LOL!! that sounded bad!! guess and update on the other two....The oldest...the one that sent me the ugly email after Savannah was born, if I didn't tell you, DH sent her an email back and told her that that was not necessary, and she sent him one back and said it was...so we haven't talked to her since then...sounds immature, and it's usually never like this in our family at all...but over the last couple of years, she has gotten her head up in the clouds and looks down her nose at EVERYONE in her family..she bought her own spa/salon and just seems to act like she is better than everyone...her sisters and her Mom says the same thing...so it's not just us...but she is the one with a b-day this week...so I am sending her something and we will see what happens.....and the youngest S-DD, the one who won't clean up after herself...well she finally started coming back to stay, but it's hit and run...she comes in late, and up early and gone...then not back for more than a week....so really no chance to talk to her at all...since DH said something to her, and she started coming back, she does pick up her towels!!! LOL!!

LindaW-sounds like a great time with your parents! DH and I took a ride with DS on the bikes and got some photos. The color here is gorgeous, better than it's been in yrs! I'm happy to hear your S-DD at least picks up her towels, that's an improvement!

Chris-sorry about the chipped nails! I never can keep mine either :( but that's kind of good it shows we actually do something with ourselves instead of sitting around the puter all day drinking coffee and eating bon-bons LMBO! (this is soo hilarious if you think about it cause what do I do all day....clean a couple of hrs, wash some clothes, cook dinner...and sit here at the puter LOL). let us know how it goes with the endo!

Not much happening here. I just filed my 2nd two wks of unemployment....with no sign of the FIRST check yet. grrrrr. I called last wk and had to leave a msg for a call back of course it hasn't happened yet. Haven't even gotten anything in the mail. I had thought about going back to school for psych/counseling but heck, I can't afford the gas right now, not until I get my car payment caught up. And honestly, it is so much nicer and less stressful here at home.

I am going to have to go to the doctor though, soon as my insurance on DH's plan kicks in. I'm having some 'colon' issues, think it's time for another colonoscopy, big ugh.

Anyhow...that's enough about me. I got some really adorable photos of my Sassy cat this weekend, be on the lookout for lots of layouts with them LOL.

afternoon to all my sweet fam!!!

omgosh...my weekend was CRAZY!!!! (i know...what's new, huh???) We started on Thursday trying to take our family Christmas/Thanksgiving pics, but Mr Gorgeous had to put out crazy fires all day for his work, so he couldn't take any time out to get his hair cut and then sit for pics. So then we thought we could do it Friday. But the House moving session got outta hand (not really, just took longer than we expected!!) and then we had a youth party and the boys had football, so no pics. but Megan, (my photog whom you all know sorta and love) helped us like crazy move the house. Saturday we had a very easy day...we slept in until 11am, went to Quentin's football game, which they won, then came home and made fajitas for our family, my inlaws and our neighbors (mr gorgeous's bff from highschool!) and just hung with them all night!! it was soo fun and relaxing!! THEN, Sunday after church, we talked Megan into coming back!! heehee..and we did our family pics...OMG they are soooooo awesome!!!! You will see them on my pages as i scrap and scrap!! It's soooo fun to have awesome pics to scrap, isn't it?? LOVE them!!!

today, I've already been to the dentist and gotten my new crown, so I am not hillbilly sally anymore!! I think the kids are sad I can't pop my fake tooth out anymore!! ahahahahaha...i'm sad I can't use that as a threat anymore!! ahahahahahha!!

So, i hope to scrap tonight all night! Sue's spotlight is sooo exciting!! Ohhh and i'm gonna have a feature on my BLOG this week about a book I had printed with all of her designs!! fun!!!

on to loving you guys!!!
 
Chris, have fun at the endocrinologist! I had one manicure my whole life!! and that was before I went to Alaska in July...i didn't even make it out of the spa without nicking a nail!! It was really hard for me to justify to do that again!! LOL!!! hugs, babe!
 
LindaW, love your fun stories...have fun with your baby girlie and your mom! and you keep building those bridges to your s-dds...they'll come around...we all know that you are the best in the world!! And as my dad always said, "i love ya no matter what those other guys say!!"

Hi everybody!
Well, the bad news is my fever came back, but the good news is it's gone again, and really seems to be on the way out this time. I think I got hit with a bad pollen cloud, which just made things that much worse. Good news too that the girls remain okay. Huge act of God there, it makes no sense whatsoever that they should be okay after me being sick for like a month. Anyway, got me some good allergy medicine and things seem to be clearing up.

I'll probably be scarce all week, tho, because it's the last week of my current block of classes, and I still have to write both final papers. Whoops. I had a schedule where I was going to write them two weeks ago, then spend last week in revisions. Well, with me being so sick that did not get done. So I have to write both papers between now and Sunday at midnight. The research and outlines are all done, but I just have to put it all into words. That's the hard part.

Okay, I just wanted to let you know that I'm still here, and I still lubs ya. Next block of classes are History and Math, should take less of my mental energy so hopefully I'll have some mojo left to scrap.

Okay, I'm off to paper-land!!
 
Haven't had the chance to read through here today or this weekend, but I thought I'd quickly answer some posts from Friday and come back if I can today to write more.

Plus since it is Me me me monday I will write about me :-)

I live in a tiny tiny town in Indiana in a county with less than 7,000 people and it is just south of Richmond, IN and borders Ohio. If anyone lives nearby & wants a photographer I'd love it! :-) (still spreading the word about my place here since I just opened a few months ago.)

Hello ladies!!

I have been taking lots of pics today...not the scrapbooking kind but the medically necessary kind that pay my rent. Well, I wouldn't really say lots, but enough to keep me busy busy. So, it has been an interesting weekend. It started with a bit of panic. DH let me know that he may have lost his second job on Friday. His 2nd job is not just for extra spending money but does pay for a lot of our life. I didn't really want to buy a house and that was part of the deal of buying the house while he was in the military. One weekend a month and one on-call day a week. Well, part of it is his fault and part of it is his direct supervisor. Apparently it was in a department meeting that something needed to be completed to take care of the machines and somehow Derek missed it. Well, when it was noticed that it wasn't getting done instead of letting him know they just fudged it. So it finally ended up getting caught by the wrong person and so he got pulled from the shift. It sucks. It should have been brought to his attention months ago and he should have been paying closer attention in his meeting. But he's already working on getting another position so we'll see what happens. The hardest part is that my DH is a very cocky person and has a very serious attitude and doesn't understand how that affects how people interact with him sometimes and it is frustrating. He walks around with an "I don't give a crap" attitude but then when things change he is all upset because things aren't coming together as easy as they do for other people. He gets why but doesn't get it two weeks later when he starts puffing his chest again. He's such a brat. Love him...he's my brat, but such a brat. My poor kids have no hope between the two of us. Addie especially.

The weekend actually was pretty good though. We slept alot on Saturday and then Sunday my sis came down and we went to the pumpkin patch. She brought her camera so I was able to get some pics. That was awesome. I am hoping to get my insurance check very soon. Then I can get my camera soon. I am hating life still without any camera. Soon, soon!! My sister saved the day by coming to the pumpkin patch with us and bringing hers. The pumpkin patch was weird. It was one I hadn't been to before. the maze was awesome. The path was completely beat down but the pumpkin patch was tiny and kind of icky, there was no store or really anything esle, but they have a really good haunted maze supposedly. I thought we would try a new farm this year but I think we will stick with the one by our house in the future. But we were referred to another one that is supposed to be really good or we will go to the one by my parents again. they have some great ones by them, but they live over an hour away. I didn't feel like driving this weekend.

So last night my laptop died. I was quite upset. So today I took it to Best Buy to see what the Geek Squad could do. they plugged it in and guess what...it booted right up. Go figure. But now I have my mind wrapped around being without a computer for a couple of weeks so I think I will get some warranty work done anyway once I get everything backed up.

Holy crap...people are going swine cray here. I amtrying to talk my friend out of taking her husband out of taking her husband out of taking her husband to the ER because he has flu symptoms. Does he have swine? probably. But unless he is having trouble breathing he needs to go home, take some tylenol, drinks lots of fluids and not give it to the rest of teh world. Everyone is running to the doctor's office and giving it to everyone. If you think you have it you probably do. Treat it like the flu and if you aren't getting better then go see the doctor people. Just because it has a fancy name doesn't mean freak out. Jeez!!! Now...if you can't breath...go see the doctor. By all means...please go see the doctor. But if you have a headache, a fever and a cough...drink fluids, take tylenol and ibuprofen and treat it like a freakin flu. UGH!!!!!!!! Can you tell I'm a little annoyed?? I do understand that this is an epidemic and people have died and all that but people die from the flu every single year. It is what it is. It needs to be treated like the flu.

Well, it is the end of the day...so I have to go. I have been writing this ALL DAY LONG!! Sorry no personals. Maybe I can leave some later. Love you guys though. Big hugs to all of you.
