And we are back to Monday.... that last week went fast! The weekend went quickly but slowly at the same time. It was absolute *heaven* to have nothing to do. I even got to take a nap. I wasn't planning on it, but I feel asleep on the sofa watching the fireplace I guess I needed that.

I have to go back and check out the weekend thread, but I hope that everyone had a fabulous weekend and it ready to hit the ground running on Monday!

Oh Chris- I wish I could have joined your heaven- I was painting and mopping floors in the new space on my hands and knees. My hands hurt, my knees hurt,even though I was on my knees on my garden pad. It is coming along- more painting this week- decided on white baseboards, so have to paint the old trim and door white! I can't wait to move into my creative space.

'morning. Chris, falling asleep in front of a fire sounds wonderful! i wish i could do that right NOW. i just got out of bed after a terrible night's sleep filled with ODD dreams and have a whole gray day to face, feeling like i should just be going to bed! ah, well. excelsior!

Laurie, your painting sounds like no fun! i am SO glad to be finished with anything that has to do with a paint brush!!

i have no idea what i'm doing today, except a whole lot of ironing....

Chris what an awesome relaxing weekend you must have had, glad to see you back though.

Laurie - ewwww painting, hate it, but always love the end result.

Phylis - don't you just hate when you have those odd dreams and wake up troubled or not rested at all.....hoping you can fit in a nap today!

We went and test drived a couple of cars this weekend, now DH has another car in mind and more confused then before...Mind you this has been going on for a year now....I told him one more trip to the car dealership is all he's getting out of me...he needs to make up his mind about a car. If I was the one shopping I would have had a new car a year ago.....

Good morning ladies. Just hanging out in bed with Addie watching Tangled for the gazillionth time. Good thing it is a cute movie. I'd die if she had gotten hooked on a stupid movie. I think we watch it at least 3-4 times a week and sometimes that often in one day. Now she wants waffles so I have to hurry this up. I think she's a lot like the crazy kitty. I keep having to erase what she reaches over and types. All of a sudden this little hand pops over and hits a few keys. So...she's the Crazy Addie.

Yesterday I kicked something and so now today I am just positive my foot is broken. I doubt it is but it hurts to walk on it and so I am beingt a big cry baby. g Today i need to go finish up Addie's costume. She wants to be....get this...a rainbow alien. I have no idea where she got this plan but she has been consistent in it. s o that's what we are doing. She has sparkle stretch pants a star skirt and a black shirt. Then I have these sparkly stars I'll stick all over here and Derek wants me to give her rainbow suspenders like Mork. And I have to create a hat so that she has antennae. It should be fun. Ethan just wanted to be something scary and kept saying the Grim Reaper but I wasn't real fond of him being the Grim Reaper so that plan got vetoed so not he's gonna be this skeleton thing.

Anyway, Addie is dying for waffles so I'll get finished up here...

Chris - I am so glad you got your relaxing trip. Naps are the best as long as you wake up when you are ready instead of when your husband or kids come running in wanting answers to questions you can't process. Ugh!! I hope you have a great week.

Laurie - I am so glad your space is getting closer to done and hope it gets done soon so that you don't have any more work on it and can simply enjoy it. I hope some advil takes care of your aches and pains today. Hugs!!

Frani - Men make everything more difficult, don't they? I buy stuff without my husband. I bought our trailblazer we have now without him but in his name. That was kinda fun to buy something with a POA. I can understand how in the wrong hands a POA can be so dangerous. I hope you get the car situation figured out soon.

Clara I love the movie Tangled, I don't have any kids at home, but I just had to have it for myself...I've watched it a couple of times so far.....the artwork in this movie is just stunning.

Morning "O" friends...dark and gloomy here this morning, but I will take some of that coffee and muffin!! Thanks Linda! Off to work for a full day today, but I usually get to spend most of it in my little back office so Hooray!! Had a nice weekend and got some more yard work done, but some of my flowers are still blooming, so I will leave them until they have decided to stop. Crazy that they are still blooming so much! Then a visit from my brother (second oldest brother, I have three) and SIL they dropped off a couple of fur coats that they want made into teddy bears. I said I would do them as long as they had no time limit on it. I kinda stopped making them a while ago, got sick of vacuming up all the fur and getting it up my nose all the time. But the extra $ will be nice. Anyway off to the shower after personals, hope you all have a great Monday !!

Chris - I was thinking of you all weekend and wondering how your little get-a-way was going. So glad that you had a wonderful relaxing time!

Laurie - far from a relaxing weekend for you!! Hope your hands and knees feel better soon and that you get to be in your brand new space by the end of the week!!

Phylis - I hate when I spend the night dreaming odd dreams, wonder if its something that you ate before bed?? LOL my mother used to say that to me all the time if I had bad dreams. Ugggh ironing!!

Clara - I will have to watch that movie one of these days, I am sure if my grandkids were here with me I would be having to watch it with them, would love to be snuggled in bed with them watching a movie!! Hope you and Addie enjoy your waffles yummmm! :hungry:

Frani - Isn't it funny that when we take the guys shopping they can't understand why we can't just get in the store buy what we want and leave. But they spend a year shopping for a vehicle!! Men!! LOL

Hello all... afternoon already and not a lot got done this am. But I Pinned a lot! and enjoyed it. A load of laundry as usual, and my jeans on the line so they stay mostly the same size. I never wore jeans until last year, and now have two pair from J Jill that I love and that fit and feel just right. That's all I have so I want to keep them feeling so good. Ten minutes in the dryer to fluff (!) them up and out on the line.

We had a nice short visit with my son and grandson when the latter finished his water polo matches at the USNA. I didn't go this time but we met aftewards for pizza. Only downside is that 'the boy' did not get good grades this time and I know he has been given hell by his parents so we let that subject drop. I think he was surprised himself so I know he feels bad already. I just hope he can figure out how to improve - he's a jr in hs, and his school costs a lot. Sigh.

Well, I said yesterday I was going to do garden cleanup today and Mr. R said...I've heard that before! In my head it was ... $% you. So, today is nice enough, and tomorrow is garden waste pickup and later today I'm going to get some Roundup for the place He paid people to dig some weeds out. They are mutant bamboo, and I said....As much as I hate using roundup, it's the only thing that will keep them from coming back. That was 3 weeks ago, no Roundup, and guess what...they're back. ugh

Ok, I have done my bitching...and now need to put my gardening gloves where my mouth is. Back atcha later.

Ok, two trash cans full of weeds, and I said enough. I know how much to push the back when I've not done this for a whlle. Dick came down to see if I wanted espresso but I had decided I deserved chocolate ice cream..in the middle of the afternoon! I'm so special!!!

Chris - I'm glad that your weekend was relaxing but sure glad you kept an eye on that fireplace. They do need watching, the devious things that they are!

Laurie - You are doing photos of all your work I hope for a before and after layout???

Phylis - Ah..ironing. Warms the cockles of my heart and warms the room too. I ironed our duvet cover yesterday, and boy was that a pita. I sure need a new ironing board cover that stays on.

Frani - If it were a smaller purchase, I'd say just get x for him but cars are too personal. Dick was mumbling about a new car earlier this year til he looked at the sizes and costs and decided to pay the maintenance costs on his old Mercedes. It fits him very well.

Clara - Days in bed with a toddler go by so quickly, but not always when you are living them if I can recall! Hope y'all enjoyed your waffles.

NanaLinda - Gee, that muffin was good!

Trudy - I'm always surprised to read what kinds of things other people make. FurBears. Who knew…

Now maybe I can do something with a layout that has lingered... my blending class project.
