happy monday!!! it felt so good to go to sleep last night, knowing that there would be a normal day of school today

Did everyone survive iDSD?
It is a priority on my To-Do list today to check out the gallery! Unfortunately grocery shopping is also on that list, as is cleaning my house.... but I know I'll get to the gallery today, even if that means I can't scrub my toilets.

Me Me Monday:
I made some totally delish Banana bread on sat. and my goal is to get all of the house bull-**** done quickly so i can sit down with a cuppa, some banana bread and the O!

I survived- MMG was away, so I worked on ideas for my basement space, as well as used the time to play catch up at work. I was exhausted- also watched marathon of hoarders- now that was depressing- but new week, new day- me me monday- stay focused at work, mop tonight and scrap, really, I must scrap

Have great days everyone- our weather is going to be amazing- sunny (not that I will see it from inside, but maybe a lunch time walk) and 60-70!

Jacqueline - even with that extra hour yesterday I still ended up totally behind
Which version of ACDSee are you useing? I wa susing PM 12, and it stopped working, rather, it did work, but it took over a minute just to tag one file. I asked for support at the acdsee forum and even after trying everything, it still isn't working, so they suggested that I upgrade. Can't afford that ATM, so I switched to Live gallery. I don't like it as much, but its free

Morning peeps!

Dick was out of bed before 5am to get to his 6am meeting. Groan. Fortunately for me, I fell back asleep for another hour. I think I'll do my walking outside today. It's nice and brisk but warming up to the high 50s. That is my kinda weather.

The Russian Festival had great food and we both brought home leftovers and another dessert. Chris, those hockey tickets I won cost almost $300! I cannot imagine! If my son doesn't get one of the girls or my dil to go with him, he'll let me know and I'll metro in to go with him.

Today? a noon visit to the dentist to check my teeth. I'm going to ask about bleaching which I've wondered about but have various crowns vs godgiven teeth. I've been curious as to how to get them all on the same Panetone page!

Maybe later today some time spent catching up on scrapping the last bits of September and October. Maybe playing with the November challenges. We'll see!

Good morning ladies, I survived DSD and managed to scrap a lot on Saturday... Spent a lot of time watching Jana's video for week 5 .... need to work on something this week.... saying nice things...! And learning to "live my life" my way. I too have to do some chores.... but my most favorite chore of the year is done.... the last mow of the season. The grass will look good for 5 months everytime I look out the window or I'm outside.

Maureen hope you enjoy the tickets with your son! Chris - hope you get your chores done fast the banana bread sounds good! If you were at my house .... you'd eat the banana bread first then work.... well Mamaw does like desert! I inherited that trait!

Morning lovely ladies!

The weekend was super busy! We went looking at cars, mind you DH has been looking for a year now. Hopefully he will make up his mind this week and get a car. My car is still acting up and we may have to get another one to replace it sooner then we planned. Good grief, I swear when it rains it pours.

I did buy some much needed new winter clothes, 3 tops, 2 sweaters and a pair of pants. I needed to replace last years wardrobe since I've lost quite a bit of weight since then. I'll hopefully add something more each payday.

I did buy a few kits that were on sale, now to get my mojo going to create some layouts...it has been missing for a couple of weeks. I really need to get on a CT team to have some get up and go. Not being on any teams seems to have stalled my creative flow for sure.

Maureen - It's been a few years that I've asked my dentist about bleaching, he said the crowns would not bleach out just your natural teeth, so unless they have come up with some new processes you still won't have an even color.

Chris - that banana bread sounds pretty darn good! I'll be over for to share it with you on my break.

Laurie - can't wait to see that space you've created....enjoy the warm weather.

Frani - For your sake and wallet, I hope your husband can decide on a car. Then at least one choice is out of the way before your time comes up!

btw, forgot to mention with the talk of banana bread, I have a whole (!) poppy seed roll from the Festival. I'm thinking I better get it all into the freezer ASAP. I love poppyseed filling and Dick does not. That spells trouble for me....

Good morning ladies. I have a minute of quiet since I just sent Addie to her room for being a brat. Hopefully that ends soon. We'll see. Okay...she just came down and apologized so we're good now. Now she wants to eat breakfast so I'd better hurry up. I had a nice lazy weekend. My husband and I started watching West Wing awhile back and are in the last season now. It is a really good show, although I never realized so much about all the politics of the presidency and the capital in general. BUt it is a fun show and the characters are fabulous. I just love Martin Sheen.

Today has lots of little stuff planned...mostly bill paying. Boooo!!! I will try and come back later for some personals. I h ope you all have a Happy Monday...and I hope that Sally hos in here to share some of her Monday excitement to get us moving.

Maureen, i always thought that poppyseed filling tasted like dirt. my mom used to make poppyseed rolls and nut rolls, and the only way i would eat the poppyseed one was with a slab of butter on it!

errands, grocery shopping...with a big dose of sunshinne and 63 degrees to make it all bearable.

Morning Ladies!! Happy Monday everyone! Off to work for my full day of work today, but mostly back office stuff Yay! Had fun with IDSD and got a few layouts done, but not as many as I had hoped!! So much new stuff, so little time to work on it!!! I had planned on spending most of Sunday playing with my newly purchased goodies, but ended up having to go to a small get together for one of hubby's co-workers and new bride. We did not stay too long and then got home and went for a nice long walk. Lots of talk about hubby's retirement and what we will do, but we will see when the time comes if it happens or not.

Chris - Nice to hear that you had a good sleep last night! I tossed and turned thinking about work all night Ugggh!! Hope you get all your housework done so you can play with your new purchases today!!

Laurie - Have a great Monday! I don't know how you can watch Hoarders, it makes me so frustrated (because I am so opposite of them, such a neat freak!!) I know I should not judge, but I guess I just don't understand :noidea: Bet you have come up with some great ideas for your basement!!

Debbie - How nice that you got your outside work done! One more day of working outside for us and then we will be done for the winter. :sad:
