Happy Monday!
I kind of feel like I need another day for my weekend. Saturday was so busy getting ready for the party, then having the party. Then I had to work from home yesterday and I felt like I got next to nothing accomplished. I wish I had one more day to sleep in, relax, paint my toes....

But it looks like it is going to be a beautiful weather day. My mom and I are going shopping together (she has a 30% off at Kohl's yay!). I need to buy Scott a pair of dress pants, shirt/shoes and tie for his Middle School graduation (fingers still crossed that he gets to graduate). So I am going to pick up the stuff today and then put it aside for next month. And hope for the best!

How was everyone's weekend? Hope that is what great. Here's to a new week!

Nana Linda- I heart you tooooooo! Glad to hear that your are coming out of the sadness and feeling more like yourself.
Isaw C-Man's hair - he looks so cute! I have to find the LO of Scott when he had a mohawk.... too cute.
So jealous that you are gonna get to see my Sis, Clara!!!!!

Sandra- whew! I bet you are happy to have some time to breathe again! Bet the recital was wonderful.

Laurie- DH did that to my rhododendron several years ago- I was horrified! But it has grown back and is just a pretty as before.

Chris....YAY!! Shopping with Mom!!! have a great time!! You guys have all the good weather....we are pretty cool and raining today!! ..aahheemmmm....you don't have to be jealous about seeing Clara...you can come too!!

Yes....Cameran has been asking to get his hair cut in mohawk for about two months now...This kid loves making the others kids laugh...he likes when the other kids say he is cool....Sharon went to the school on Friday to eat lunch with him and she asked the teacher how he was doing. She did not get the answer she was looking for:nono: Last week was SOL's and she said Cameran acted like he just did not care at all...he barely did the tests and scored very poorly (which she said was not him, because he was one of the brightest kids in the class, her top reader and math student for sure). She said on Friday he decided in the middle of class he would just stand up on the chair and start singing and dancing

Now this really threw us all for a loop!! The teacher ended up taking him to the side after lunch and talking to him and gave him the tests over again, and he scored very well!! Needless to say though, he was grounded all weekend...no coming to Nana and PawPaw's, no friends, no Wii....but got a mohawk!!:noidea:

Good morning all! Had a wonderful weekend, with great sunny weather. Friday was spent getting ready for my husband's unit transfer party, 7 people transferred and 1 retirement. 80 people showed up for the get together at a local hall and we had a pretty good time. Of course it was DH, myself and a couple of others that had to stay behind and clean up....always seems to be the same group that cleans up.:mmph: Saturday we headed up to Naniamo to help out an Aunt an Uncle set up a new T.V. and stereo system. It took the better part of the afternoon, but we were treated to a lovely supper and good visit with them. Sunday we had hubby's parents for supper... a belated Mother's Day dinner, as we were at the Eagles concert for Mother's Day. It was such a warm day that we sat on the deck for most of the afternoon and got a little sunburned.:redface: Today I will be trying to get some scrapping done in between doing :washing:
Linda...hope you have a great day and glad to hear that you are feeling happier :thumb: hope that this is just a quick faze that Cameran is going through it can be very frustrating :frusty:
Chris...Have a wonderful day shopping with your Mom, I would give anything to be able to spend one more day with my mother, it has been over a year since we lost her and I still miss her everyday!!

good afternoon! It was a long Monday even though I had to change up my schedule and today was a short day... Gabe has meetings in the afternoons on Mondays for a while so will be switching my long work days to Tuesday and probably Thursday... then once school is out on the 3rd it won't matter...

went to the doctor on Friday... she said I'm having dull migraines... its been hanging around every day for a bout 2 weeks... I did my physical and had my thyroid levels checked since we know my sister's thyroid was cancerous... and since thyroid problems run in the family it was good to get it checked... I'll hopefully have the results tomorrow or Wednesday... she also wants me to drink more plain water - BLECH! I've actually grown accustomed to it so its not so bad anymore LOL

Chris - yes it was good to have the performance stuff over... she was beautiful and did a great job! Hope you had fun at Kohl's!

Linda - yeah my kids wanted a mohawk too... I said no way LOL... they got the faux mohawk which means they can still wear their hair normally!

Trudy - sounds like you had a busy weekend...

Okay... speaking of :washing: I gotta go check mine!

I am sooooooo missing my O peeps. Can I have more hours in the day pleeeeeeeease!!!!!! I am going to be out of my house in one month! EEEEKK11 Can I have an O organization party at my house please?? Okay later!!
